I cackled listening to the subtle shade towards your curtisii 😂 I went through the same struggle. I’ve finally got her stable and she’s starting to trail. Glad yours decided to live too!
They all look great!! I feel like my Hoya have all been sleeping over the winter, except for my Retusa which did flower a couple times for me, but it also doesn’t look like it’s gotten any longer…. They’re all by a southeastern window but it’s been a cloudy winter, so hopefully they’ll get moving in the Spring (soon)! Thank you for sharing and best wishes on your move!! 💜💚🪴🌵
YES, linearis definitely like a lot more water that most other hoya. I've found that when I don't give mine enough water the new growth will just turn kind of brown and just peter out🤷
For me, Hoya Mathilde was a very good starting point to get into hoyas. It grows pretty fast, doesn’t seem to need any difficult care and looks cute ☺️
That serpens is 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! 🤩🔥
Your Hoya Serpens is adorable!! 🥺
Thank you! 💚
Love the dogs ❤️❤️
Thank you 💚🐶
My curtisii struggled for a long time but once I figured out that it doesn't like to dry out much, it's going wild!
I think that's the secret!! I feel like I've noticed that with a lot of my hoya, they really do not like to dry out all the way!
@@GetPlantyWithIt I read comments from people who water their hoya like once a month and I'm like, how are they not dead yet? Haha.
@@LulaMae21 right I don't get it 😂😂

Hahaha she honestly deserves all of the shade 😂 I'm glad yours is doing well too!!
I like the carnosa varieties and the linearis. I struggle between letting it grow longer or chopping it to make it fuller.
Yeah the carnosa varieties all grow so well! And haha I feel the same, just as my plants get some length I feel the urge to chop 😂
my fav hoya rn is my sunrise!! new growth EVERYWHEREEE!
They grow so fast!!

I'm sure they'll be back to growing in the spring!! I'm so excited for the warmer weather :)

Yes it's definitely a thirsty one! Now that I've been watering her more she's been growing so quickly, it's so exciting :)
I'm currently loving my Hoya wayetii ❤️ Hoping to get a Hoya liniaris later this year 🤗
Ooh yes I love the wayetti!
Yah! The Linearis is a thirsty girl! I water mine weekly.
It's so different from other Hoya! But so worth it 😍
I don't have a hoya and have never had one! Which is the easiest hoya to start with? I'm definitely interested in getting one!! Thank you 😊

@@alexanderwitte4347 thank you!!!!
Definitely the hoya mathilde or the krimson princess/queen (which you can sometimes find in big box stores for a great deal)!
@@GetPlantyWithIt thanks. I'm still keeping my eye out. I have never seen one at lowes before. Thanks 😊
where do you purchased all of these ??? if you do purchase them online , could you please link us the link
I've purchased them from all different places, some in person and some online. I recommend checking out etsy.com or looking in local facebook groups!
