Yup.... I ordered one from Amazon last week and it's supposed to come in about two weeks and everyday I check when it supposed to come because I really can't wait so.... yay!
Well, you've done it. You have officially gotten me addicted to diamond painting. I came across an Instagram ad the other day and thought it looked interesting and then I stumbled upon your channel. I ordered my first canvas and received it 2 days ago (gotta love amazon prime) and now I watch your wip n chats while doing my own! This is my first week back at college, I just moved, and I have been stressed out to the max and this is exactly the type of hobby I need. I am SOOO excited to improve my skills and watch more of your videos. You've gained a dedicated subscriber here!
Dont Worry. You're not alone. It happens to the best of us...AND FAST! I now have 26 diamond paintings of different sizes. Did I forget to mention I just picked up this craft THREE WEEKS AGO?!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I ordered this exact painting from the same store after watching this video. I got it in 25 x 30 square and the drill quality seems like it has very much improved from what Rachel is describing in this video. Thought I would post in case anyone still wanted this. Maybe they saw this and decided to improve 😁
Don't know why but when I'm doing cross-stitch I watch your videos and watch videos about cross-stitch when I'm doing Diamond painting. Though it's effective in inspiring me to do both hobby.
Just finished my first diamond painting the other today and today it was sealed and framed!!! I am so overjoyed and proud of myself because I got it last Christmas. I was very busy with school and it was a little overwhelming so I barely did anything hahah. Now I just need to find a spot in my room for it lol. Thanks for the vid 💜
When I seal my picture, I use clear glue squeezed out onto a portion of the canvas and spread it with a 2 inch sponge brush. I continue until all covered. Let it dry on a flat surface overnight. The brush can be washed in warm water to be used another time. Framing is cheap because I get mine from second hand stores.
Thank you for posting this Rachel. I'm new to Diamond Painting and was curious as to what I was going to do with the project once it was completed. Now I know how to seal and frame. I will have some beautiful sparkly art hanging from my bedroom walls 🥰. Thanks so much. XOXO Kim😊.
Hi! You got me into diamond painting, I saw your videos and I fell in LOVE. I really want to thank you, it has released a lot of stress, and I am so glad that I found your channel. Keep on going, And thank you!
I’ve been doing these for over a year. I’m hooked. I got all the gadgets. I have a lamp with a magnifying glass in the middle. Love it! It also charges my phone or the light under the painting. I modge podge all of mine. It dries clear. Just wanting to figure out how to Fran. You’re amazing
Very straight forward. I like your simple and inexpensive way you framed your diamond painting. That frame you found is sooo cute. I unfortunately don't have time for your wip n' chats but I really enjoy watching your unboxings and reviews. Always informative, thank you.
I watched a video where she took a razor and sliced the air bubbles in the adhesive very lightly, not enough to cut all the way through. If you check under the light you can see the air bubbles. Worked like a charm!
Thank You. I have finally made my first DP and I'm giving it to my sister. I had already covered the border with washi tape and placed it in a glass frame. Last night I realized i didn't seal it and started freaking out but now I know under the heavy glass it kinda holds it in place. I dodged a bullet😬
Thanks for this! I just finished my first DP and plan to frame it for my godson -- I planned to put it behind glass so perhaps I will not have to worry about sealing it. One less step!
Thank you for this video. I am new to diamond painting and I have been buying the cheaper paintings. I like the way you framed the painting. It also fits into my budget because I spend more money on another craft!
So pretty. I love watching your videos. I just started DP. And i have many questions.Social Media is so hard on people, so i don't ask questions. I hate when people are rude... so, i pray you answer my questions on your videos. So i just pray you continue to do alot of learning videos.
I’m new. Started on the 19th. I doing a cow! Lol it’s for my nephew. Will be done today! Ms Rae. What are you talking about when you say on your channel? I love your videos.
Hi ragdollmommy2, this is my youtube channel. I do many videos, so if you'd like to see more, subscribe :) ua-cam.com/channels/RHwkHd9_jJYlReLtHIuIMQ.html
Diamond Painting beginner here 🤚 I have a question cause I'm almost done with my first one, and there are lots of stones left... does the Drill No in the colour key mean that I can use the stones to other paintings? For example, is black always 310 and white, always 3865, even though the symbols might change? I'm really curious if it is worthy to keep the leftover stones or not... thank you in advance 😊
Yes, those numbers you're referring to are DMC numbers, which are universal. I save my diamonds in case I run out and it's saved me many times. It's also good for the environment. ua-cam.com/video/JhQW9lWQMvA/v-deo.html
Hi Rachel. What a great video. I to like to use the inexpensive frames . As long as it looks good also. Your eye needs to be on the painting itself. Makes it look extra special in a frame also. Will use this method when I finish mind. Thank you have a great day
I saw you have a really nice holder for all your diamonds, I was wondering where you got it from and how much, don't remember which video I saw it in but it was kind of tall. I'm new to this art but loving it 100%, very relaxing 🥰.
I do have a diamond painting right now that is was from 6 days and i still not have done it. It is so delicate to do to it because do not have somethings just like in video. So, i am being flexable.
Have you ever put a diamond art on clothes or fabric? If so, how? Maybe a future video if you haven’t already? New to diamond art... but loving it so far!! New to your channel. Can’t wait to explore it more! Thanks!
Ms Rae, I used Aleene’s acrylic sealer gloss finish. Well, the shine is gone from my drills! Wonder if I can put a better sealer on it if the sparkle will come back? I will purchase what you are using if I can find it. Thanks.
I noticed the replacement diamond beads are either round or square. Which should I choose, or should I wait until my picture and supplies arrives before deciding on the shape of the replacements. 🙀🤭😲 ah oh! Lolol Iam totally new at this! Iam waiting for my tools and picture to be shipped. 😂🥰
Hi there I have been learning so much from your videos, thank you!!!!! Can you tell me if you have ever made your own designs for card making? If so, how I'd this done. Thanks kelly
When you say Aldi, do you mean the smallish grocery markets with some home goods. That have coin carts? Just making sure that the name is the same in your country as mine.
Does it matter what type of glue you use & also can you use regular picture frames for Diamond Art or does it have to be a special frames made for this? Thank you
I love this frame. Is there a particular name for it? I'm looking at framing videos because I'm on my 6th DP and need to frame them, I'd like to try different framing techniques on each. I've never seen a frame like this one!
I so agree with you about popping drills. I only do square/full projects. I have finished 6 from 3 different companies. My experience has been: rivers, that always come back no matter how many heavy books or rolling, popping drills, bad adhesives, misshaped sizing in drills and matte opaque color which is dull, not sparkling. I am beginning to think you, who do vids, get the better products as I have yet to get a good product. Sorry to be so negative but it is a lot of time invested and to not get straight, even and sparkley well I may have to give up. The company's talk a good game but the products are not holding up. Thank for letting me vent. Blessings
It all depends on the company. I don't tell them I have a channel, and if they find out, nothing is any different. We are fighting for better quality all the time!
Silly question! Do you use anything to help you remove the glue from the toothbrush? I am finding all my brushes get very sticky/stiff. Not sure if I am not washing it well enough, or if there is a hint for getting the glue out?
Hi Rachel, long time no chat. Your Elephants were upside down? I've been a bit busy. I have moved 3 times in 6 months to my now permanent (for now) residence in upstate Massachusetts (U.S.A.).
Hi Rachel, I am 1/2 way through my very first diamond painting project. My question is: should I cut the covering over the sections as I do them. I really don't want to take the chance of getting it dirty or knocking diamonds loose. What should I do?
I personally fold the covering back and place a weight on top of it like a rock. I keep the whole covering for the completed diamond painting since I don't frame my diamond paintings right away. I have seen youtubers tape a section or cut a section like a rectangle where they work on that section which works for them.. But for me because of dust etc I prefer keeping covering. Up to you , all the best.
I cut parchment paper in thin strips & use that to go around for the border while Im doing my painting....It helps alot... I really like that frame...can you please tell me where you found it? Thank ya !!!
What do you do with your left over drills? I think I made a mistake. I finished my first painting the other day and was setting up my next one and I added the older drills that matched to the new painting based on their dmc number. Is that okay? Thank you
I've had the hardest time trying to find a frame for mine :( it's 60cmx60cm and there are not many frames available and the ones you can get are so expensive :( sucks
Hi I recently saw a video where a lady covered her partial diamond painting (printed background ). She painted only the diamonds and did not paint the background. Hope it helps .

Best of luck 😄
Is it done yet?
We all are waiting to see the result hehe
When I seal using Mod Podge I brush right over the glue even if I am going to remove it. No more sticky.
Lori Willits do you just let it did dry after applying? I have some of that .,
Omg thats a greak idea . I never thaught abt using mod podge 😆thank you

That turned out good, but it's begging for a quote on the outside of the frame now. Thank you.

I like the frame. Bless you for having such passion 🙏 and patience.
I started painting 2 1/2 years ago and I’m still learning an insane amount
I watched a video where she took a razor and sliced the air bubbles in the adhesive very lightly, not enough to cut all the way through. If you check under the light you can see the air bubbles. Worked like a charm!
This is awesome! I have a 50x50 that I’m trying to figure out how best to frame since frames that big get really expensive
You could always try to make your own frame out of foam board! :)
I'm watching your videos so I can learn more about this craft. I have made 1 small diamond painting and I want to make more.

You can use a little blue tac behind it if you want to hold it to
The glass. What a great find that frame was! Love it!
Or double sided tape
I ordered a diamond painting, starry night by van gogh im so excited because it's about to arrive today, and your videos really helped me💗
I’m currently working on that one.

Thanks Rachel! Great video. Love that little frame. Nice choice.

very nice information. I do like that simple painting. Thank you for this video.
I love that frame...
Try using a brayer roller. It is about 4 inches wide and rolls very well over the crystals.
It's very impressive. Quite beautiful. 💗💕💎
Interesting. 🤔 Your frame as like you lock the door. I never seen frame like this before. 🙂
Such a helpful video. Thank you so much I love the simple approach and the gorgeous frame. makes me much less scared to seal and frame some of mine.
Hi Rachel. What a great video. I to like to use the inexpensive frames . As long as it looks good also. Your eye needs to be on the painting itself. Makes it look extra special in a frame also. Will use this method when I finish mind. Thank you have a great day

Glad it was helpful!
It looks so good omg!!!
Thank you for this. Just finishing up my second one and had no idea what to do with them. 🦩🐬
Look at you working that New Year's resolution!!! I needed this info also!

I'm sorry, I don't know! Maybe ask in the facebook group? What I'm using is Tombow Aquaglue.
reminds me of the lovely wallpaper in the Golden Girls!
The diamond paintings I have are already on canvases. So all I need to do is flatten them, seal them with clear glue, and let them dry.

I really like the DP, and it looks great sealed & framed.
I love this frame , unfortunately I don't live in Europe anymore. Thank's for this Video.
Wow love the info!! What kinda of frame is that again I love it!!!!❤❤
Beautiful! Is this the same process you do with large DAC canvases? I am so terrified of cutting around my canvas. 😬
Fiskars Rotary cutter, works great for cutting the extra canvas off.
I love the frame. It worked so well. TFS ❤

I hang them on trouser hangers in my closet 😊
@@RachelRaeCraft Thank you. Was trying to figure it out. You never roll a WIP? Sorry for questions, just want to get it right. :)
So when we measure for a frame, we do NOT include the white margin, correct? And thank you for your videos! Very informative.
Yes that's right! If you're framing like this. For stretched canvas it's different 💜
Awesome, thank you for this info! @@RachelRaeCraft
Does it matter what type of glue you use & also can you use regular picture frames for Diamond Art or does it have to be a special frames made for this? Thank you
The sealant does matter - you don't want it to yellow with time and light exposure. As for frames, you can using anything it'll fit into :)
@@RachelRaeCraft Thank you ☺️
Where did you get those frames from :) those are cool as hell
It would be great for a office
Whats the reason for cutting the sticky off with razor blade if you are cutting the white border anyway?
A Tina bit of powder will get rid of sticky put on ever so lighty brush off gone
Hey I was wondering where you bought this diamond painting? Thanks I love your channel
I believe it is linked in the description, Abby. :)

Sounds like they aren't rinsed enough! Try washing it with soap.
Also i love this painting and am so sad that it has been three years since this came out because it probably isn't available anymore.

I love it. Very nice.
What was the name of the frame and where did you get it,,? I love your videos and miss the conspiracy videos with Mr rae
If it was a printed background (instead of a diamond background, would you still paint it with sealant? Thank you xx
Hi I recently saw a video where a lady covered her partial diamond painting (printed background ). She painted only the diamonds and did not paint the background. Hope it helps .
Does the Tombow glue dull the painting?
OMGosh, I love that frame... where would I get one? TIA, we have an Aldi’s, but they are groceries stores here. Does that glue yellow over time?
Search for floating frames in your local hobby store or online :) I haven't seen any yellowing yet, no.
So when you brush on the glue does any of the diamond Pieces come off?
Really cute
Where did you buy that frame? Looks awesome!
Aldi :)
Could I put ribbon around the outside sticky before framing? Would it work?
Subscriber here. Does putting the glue on affect the touch and feel of the diamond? Should I seal a painting if I don't want to put it behind glass?
It's completely up to you. If the coat of sealant is thin enough, it won't affect the feel of the diamonds.
Rachel im looking for the video on framing by wrapping over canvas
