I cut the white off, then I get a piece of construction paper or cardstock, I use double-sided tape to mount the diamond painting onto the background, then I put it in an actual frame with clear glass. It does not dull the sparkle of the drills at all and you dont have to put any glue on it

Thanks to you and your husband for this, definitely my favourite wrap video cause my honey was really mad when I suggested cutting the drill area around…….he pretty much claims the ones he likes the best and wants them framed more properly. I think he will definitely go for this suggestion plus he can use power tools so win/win with it looking so good and not being ridiculously expensive :)

I have done the mod podge sealing both ways by using both undiluted and adding water. the key seems to be dabbing GENTLY with a damp rag, not wiping (you will pop your drills off and have a mess!)Dab until most of the white mod podge is down between the drills. i usually use 2 or 3 damp washcloths. and there seemed to be a dulling of the DP using the undiuted, but that may have been that I didn't dab it enough. It works doing sealing the Mod Podge way, First I have heard of sealing with a spray! Like it, is so much simpler.....

    • @AngietheCraftnado

You can do several paintings with just one piece of hardboard and firring strip. The one I already have up is from Diamond Art Club. I’ve tried the Krylon I’ve tried the Modge Podge high gloss, I have also tried the Minwax that comes in like a paint can and you brush it on with a foam brush. In my opinion I really like the Minwax clear gloss, I felt like that was the only one product of all the sailors I have use that works the best. Again like you’re saying that is my opinion you may like some things like you like the Krylon I do not and it’s all just a matter of opinion but I did enjoy your video and I showed my husband the video that you put up of your husband framing paintings and he actually did that today with two of my painting and it works well thank you so much and say thank you to your husband as well

I am so happy to hear that you were able to use framing idea! It is such a great alternative to expensive custom framing. Thanks so much for your suggestion with the Minwax as well. I have a question cause I'm almost done with my first one, and there are lots of stones left... does the Drill No in the colour key mean that I can use the stones to other paintings? For example, is black always 310 and white, always 3865, even though the symbols might change? I'm really curious if it is worthy to keep the leftover stones or not... thank you in advance 😊

Sorry for the delay. You’ve probably already gotten this answered already, but yes, numbers are always the same color BUT depending on brand and batch and whether they are resin or acrylic, tones may change slightly. So like a 606 from one kit might be a slightly different red on the next. In the beginning, I kept and organized all my extras. After 2 photo storage boxes and lots of time spent organizing, I have only ever run out twice! lol. I don’t keep them anymore. But a lot of people do.
