I think a DISCLAIMER is needed, about opening a power supply, capacitors can hold charge for a long time if not properly discharged which can seriously injure or even be fatal if touched
This isnt a tutorial video, so I assume people wont follow it especially since I dont show the entire process, but to be on the safe side ill add them in the future.
Definitely needs a disclaimer. People could really get hurt opening their power supply. I’m sure a lot of younger children watch this channel and would be tempted to do so.
@@TechSource I would think that there are people out there watching a respectable and big channel like yours, seeing you opening it up and so on, makes them think it's essentially safe etc. Hence not knowing the potential dangers of doing so... Should never assume anything when it comes to people, especially when it literally involves potential injuries or even death.
Quick reminder to everyone watching, DO NOT OPEN UP A PSU. Unless you know what you are doing, Power Supplies hold on to energy, enough so that it could cause serious injury or death.
I got mine killed because of the noisy psu fans replacement. I connected a lianli sl 120 to the mobo socket but forgot to place the plastic tab separating so it turned off and only got lights.
@@chirayu781 Sure. I suggest using the spread method to ensure that you have even coverage on the GPU die. When you're securing the heatsink back down, just be sure to do a couple of turns on each screw, one by one, until you secure it down. This makes sure that the cooler seats on the die at an even level. If you just screw down one screw all the way and move on to the next, you can pump the thermal paste to one side creating a hot spot.

Bro, you really need to keep a system, monitor and m&k with you if you're spending that kind of money on a gpu. Next time you won't get so lucky to get your money back
Absolutely love the series. I believe resetting after each season is the way to go. I hope to see this series for a very long time and it would be a good way to see how well you performed every season. There will be lots of learning in future episodes and seasons, and I look forward to it.
Personally I think keeping this as an ongoing series without resetting the money would be good, that would help show how much you can make on the side with flipping in the long run
Hey quick reminder, when blowing your fans out with a duster, hold the fan in place so it doesn't spin. Blowing a fan can damage the motor, and in some cases generate small amounts of electricity and feed it back through the board.
Flip up challenges are at the heart of PC tinkering. I've always loved taking one man's junk PC and turning it into something that's surprisingly good.
reset the money balance after every season cause each season could differ in the amount of money you get so i think it would bring that excitement in the seasons but even without that its an amazing season and its being done for the right reasons. keep doing what your doing ed.
ngl been my fav pc related series on yt in 2024. I understand the time it takes so I am alright with 2 vids per month even 1 per month is fine. thanks for making amazing content.
I love watching this channel since I cant get a new pc due to me saving for a car! but it makes me feel like ive got one just watching these videos. Thank you Edgar!
Hi Edgar, just wanted to say i really like the series. I think the wallet should reset at the end of each season (maybe like 15 episodes per season). You should also add an ‘inventory’ section so that we can see the parts you bought but haven’t used on a build yet.
I was so excited to see the new episode. It's so entertaining and fun! I think there should be 10 episodes in a season and I think you should reset the budget every season. Just keep going! :) Stoked to see the next episode!
Loving this new series. I hope I get chance to show my setup that i worked on over a year ago thanks to Ed. His show enspired me to make my dream setup.
Brilliant episode as usual. Anyone complaining about how long it takes for you to get an episode out obviously doesn't know the work that goes into producing them. Keep up the good work. 😊
Great Episode Ed. Nice learning experience. The ending was so Cute. They act just like my nieces and nephews at the age. You tell them where to look and they look at themselves on the screen. lol Priceless.
Every motherboard when I purchase it at Canada Computers the clerk always takes it out of the box and we inspect the pins together. Motherboards that I've sold the CPU gets put into it's proper packaging and the buyer has full access to check the pin along with the capacitors etc. Then everyone is happy!
Really enjoying this series. Imo: 24 episodes per season (1 season per year) Wallet reset at the start of the season Or 12 episodes per season Wallet reset at the start of the season
Hey ED I think its very smart you are bringing your truck to test the components, I know some are easier than others to test, but better safe than sorry. Also always meet at a public place (which it seems your doing) and I advise against meeting at night. Also a tip I learned while flipping this is to lowball a person, and if they reject, then likely the part works and you may not even need to test it (of course still test to be 100% sure). I also ask them before purchasing if its okay to test and if they say yes then thats another green flag they are not scammers.
Love this series!!! Thinking about flipping/building PC's to sell around my area as there aren't many places that do that kind of thing around here. Getting a lot of great advice and ideas from your videos and I appreciate it!!! I have one question, what site to you use to get you suggested retail price in your videos? Keep up the good work!!!
You should make a new channel where flip or flop is the only content. I promise you I would binge every video because this series is super entertaining.
I just watched a 40 minute video from a 4 million sub channel to learn the following: 1st buy: opens up the case but doesnt check for bended motherboard pins - ends up with bended pins 2nd buy: eye checks video cards - calls all good 3rd buy: no eye check here brings the entire pc to check the gpu - forgets monitor, doesnt eye check the gpu since no monitor - ended up with a broken and physically teared gpu (could have avoided that with ''eye check'' method :D ) Also cleans the case before he finds the 4070 but the pc is still dirty when he checked it. Hmmm, legit script
Back fan as intake and the 2 fans on the AIO as exhaust on that 3070 build is interesting to say the least lol. No wonder it was a hot box esp with top fans as exhaust as well. The heat from the PSU being exhausted into the case and directly to the GPU was the icing on the cake.
