Brilliant video Carl, you've yet again saved yourself a ton of money by doing yourself. The cost of parts and labour is frightening. I really am loving your videos and chat. 👍👍
Yes indeed, I learnt a long time ago to do basic servicing and have done it myself for years now, The bills running big machinery are eye watering these days but it's to be expected really. 🙄 Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoy them!! 😊😊
Good man, it's the same, just everything's bigger! If I'm honest, having worked on both, I much prefer the ag stuff as it's much easier to get my chubby puds in and around everything! And isn't so fiddly!! 😂😊
@trevormansfield6495 mmm sort of, there is more going on with tractors because of the PTO and Hydraulics aswell as engine and gearbox, but the principle is roughly the same really! New ones have emissions problems like everything 🤦♂️😂
Glad you're enjoying it, so I rang Derv doctor for the kit and fitted it myself, I can't remember where he's based but if you give him a call I'm sure he can sort you out, very helpful guy and easy to chat with!
Fait un bon nettoyage de ton tracteur avant de démonter quoi que ce soit, tu pourrais prendre des saloperies dans tes filtres avant même que tu les montes...😮😮 C’est vraiment le parcour du combatant pour changer ces filtres !!
I'm guessing you're on about the "crank case breather" filter, I think it just filters out any crap when it's breathing.... I guess... I don't actually 100% know what it does, but it's there, so I'll keep replacing it 🤷♂️😂
@richardmorgan5785 for what the filter costs. I may as well put it in 🤷♂️😂 well at the time diesel was at its highest price ever, so I worked out in one year alone I'd save enough on diesel that it would pay for the kit 🤷♂️ no brainer really
@@seggonscontractors588 you said about your noisy exhaust.... The box looks a bit small.... not much bigger than on my 6200 🤔 the 50 series had them wrapped in an asbestos wool stuff to cut the noise.
@richardmorgan5785 Yes! I'm not surprised it is noisy. As you say, the silencer is the same size as a 6100 🤷♂️ and this beast is pushing around the 250hp mark, so I wasn't expecting it to be as quiet as before but it's getting better over time mind!

Totally agree A complete sod to replace that breader filter on my JD engined Claas630 good vid
My first thought when I saw your profile picture was, "Does the claas have the same thing!" Which obviously it does! 🤷♂️😂
More 6210r and massey 5455! Great video. GOD bless
Thank you very much! I'm very surprised at the love for the mighty massey and the 210! 😂
Just subscribed. I’m a mechanic, but not on agricultural machinery. Love the repair videos 👍

@@seggonscontractors588 Agreed, there seems a lot more room. Similar problems though I assume

@@seggonscontractors588 Some days all I do is repair emission faults. Nightmare
Hey Carl, loving the channel. Any chance for abit more detail on the VGT delete? Ive got a 6125m thats developing a hunger for turbos.

Hello, please, what model of borgwarner turbo did you fit?
How much would have cost you to let all the work done in a service?
I'm not too sure, really, as I've never had one done by the dealer 🤔 be the higher end of the 3 figure sum I'd imagine 🤷♂️
neither do I, that is why I asked it would be ashame for me no to be able to do the work.@@seggonscontractors588
Spud! ❤

What is the filter in the pot for?

Good idea to service it well as they are a big investment 😮
I like the derv doctor conversation 😅
