@seggonscontractors588 looking forward i restored one and it took me all of 2 and a half years the straight 6 was a lovely sounding engine

I've seen a couple on Facebook and they're around the £3000-£3500 mark

You're right it does! I've started to grow quite fond of this group of heifers. Normally, it's just a job to get a bit of winter cash in, but I'm enjoying having them this year!

You are probably right yes, I think the machining of the new parts has come on a long way from when it was first built, as they were all very close to one another in the measurements 🤔 I can imagine it is! I'm enjoying the build anyway as it is something that I like doing 😊

Thank you, I bought them 2 or 3 years ago from a guy in Holsworthy, he makes them for all makes and models, he's called Bradley Ley I belive, I would highly recommend them to anyone running lots of machinery on the roads, as it saves alot of pressure washing!!

It is a mess yes! I will be doing a full engine rebuild on this one soon! I am currently rebuilding a 6 cylinder model as we speak!

To replace a rotor spreader, I would go for a shelbourne reynolds power spread dairy pro, either 1600 or 2000, it's a good step up but a lightweight farmers machine, brilliant spread pattern and easy to maintain 😊

@@seggonscontractors588 if it was left to brother and myself it would be another rota spreader but the nephew wants something more posh 🙄

@richardmorgan5785 I'm not a fan of rotor spreaders. However, it is one machine that will spread literally anything and not break, but... they can be very slow 🤷‍♂️

@@seggonscontractors588 not really slow 😁 the 2 Hi Spec 800 we have had could empty in 3 minutes in good dung 😊 they can drag 100 hp down at the time 🤣

@richardmorgan5785 Yes, they can be power hungry sometimes! I find aswell on very sloppy slurry they make a right mess!

I completely agree! I've only run one or two, and every time there is something wrong or the ergonomics of it, just don't work at all! I agree that shelbourne is a better machine, but I have to say for user friendliness and general "get the job done" ability! Superior machine, in my opinion! 😊

Re “the little tiny screws that you are never going to get off” why oh why cant they use stainless steel hardware, are they thick or what.

It is indeed, I think, in the next video, I will do an update on machining and everything! Just to get up to date with what is what! Also, as I'd hope.youd understand, I do have to do other jobs to keep money rolling in and have a farm to run as well! 😊😂 but I'm doing my best to keep the projects moving forward!
