Hey guys 🥰 I loved putting this video together! As always, the best advice I get is always in the comments of these videos. So please, if you have anything to add, comment below! ♥️ you guys are the best, thank you for watching✨
First you put in the effort, before it becomes effortless! I will keep telling myself that, not just with my style but with everything I do! Thank you 🙏🏽
"Be true to yourself" really resonates with me. I do not own a blazer.............I used to when I worked in an office. Now wearing a blazer just does not vibe with my lifestyle. I have things in my weardrobe I have had for years. One thing that is true to me is color. I am a Spring and actually look amazing in screaming lime green so I love to wear that color..............it looks amazing with navy blue. Another tip you gave that is really good is quality fabric. I really try to get things that have natural fibers. I also take great care with my things they never go in the dryer and I will handwash separate many items to keep them looking good. Another great video............thanks!
Yess!!! I relate so much to what you have said. Especially the blazers, I have cut my blazers down as well now that my lifestyle has changed 🥰 I love that you know that lime green looks awesome on you. It's so good to know these things, it helps SO much! And I also don't put anything in the dryer! I should make a "clothing care" video soon! xxx
Emily, you have such valuable fashion advice suitable for every age group. I am 62 and love your timeless style. It makes my day when I have a video of yours to enjoy!🥰
Hey there Emily. There’s so much value in this video I don’t know where to begin! Love the tip about color matching your skin and I plan to do that with a friend. Love the advise about signature themes, even just wearing your own special piece of jewelry, which I do everyday!! And staying true to ourselves is for sure the most important. Being confident and offering who we really are is what counts! Thanks so much!
😄!!! That is so good to hear, I was hoping it was full of value, I spent a lot of time on it 🥰♥️ good luck with the colour matching! Take your time and have fun with it and let me know how you go ✨ xx
Great video! I’ve been waiting for someone to define “effortless” properly, and you did it. Thank you! Good fabric and enough wearing ease to allow for fit alterations are two things I look for, especially buying second hand. Clothes that fit are the best. 🥰
You are so welcome! 🥰🙏 Yes, you make such a good point, especially buying 2nd hand and getting things altered, buying something slightly too big is always better than too small! x
Emily, such a wonderful video! I giggled when you said we are not just effortless right out of the womb! Sometimes when i was putting an outfit together, I would try different things on and then said : this one is too much. That one is not xx enough. My husband would ask: What are you trying to do? I would say: I am trying very hard to look I am not trying too hard. Effortless style requires a lot of effort, just like you said... So much good information in one video.. You present it in such a kind and lovely way. Love it!
I love your style, color palate and focus on sustainability. Thanks for suggestions on other vloggers who take your approach on sustainability and shopping your closet as opposed to featuring "hauls." I already follow Harumi and Beltempo, have tried McKinney but she wasn't quite in line with me. If you have any other suggestions for more influencers I can watch, I would love to hear about them!
I so enjoy your content Emily. Your tips are so practical and true Aussie down to earth 😄 I love your style but I'm a shorty, medium sized hour glass, with big boobs! So dress to flatter and suit me. Exactly as you said I don't try to copy anyone else. But do get inspiration from others. Alyssa Beltempo taught me so much about breaking down looks and using my own current wardrobe items. It's taken a while but I know what colours suit me and the ones to avoid. I'm more selective in who I follow on UA-cam and being a more conscious shopper is now my motto. Thank you so much for your informative, relevant and honest content. 😊 🤍💙💜
Ahh ♥️ I love this. You are so welcome. I’m so glad you enjoy the content I put out. It’s so important to stay in tune with yourself and what you love, and it sounds like you know that and you are selective with your inspiration points which is clever. Sometimes it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Alyssa is incredible at what she does, I learn so much from her too ♥️🥰 xx thank you for your support love x
This is a great video! I am naturally a more creative person so I struggle sometimes to make my outfits feel interesting to me, but look effortless. I’ve always envied those who came out of the womb with great style 😜😂 This video was super helpful! 😊
Thank you for sharing your stylish effortless tips ❤️ pls share more bout how to build minimalist wardrobe for autumn/winter (am living in Peru & its cold but I still wanna look presentable not slack with thick layers of jacket sweater legging etc) 🤣
You've mastered another valuable video Emily! Thank you for your efforts and research. Having it all in one concise video is so helpful and interesting to watch. The signature theme is something I have never really thought of, until now. I'm going to mull over this one and work out if I currently have one. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Tiina xx
Fantastic mindset and approach to fashion and lifestyle, wonderful awareness and good/easy-to-follow advice for genuine effortless styling that was sincerely helpful and realistic to accommodate and integrate into my routine, well done Emily!
Now that you mentioned to be truth to yourself That can be a long trip. One of my favorite bloggers, also is Alyssa Beltempo, and Fashiopatia, this last one, She'sfrom Spain, but I like her smart point of view regarding sports, or World emboirement
Great tips as always, will check out Linjer. And good on you for promoting fellow sustainable content creators (fan of all of them), that emphasises how making style sustainable is a common endeavour, not a competition.

Emily, great content as always!!! Love your sweet relaxed attitude. I too love Allyssa and Lauren... let's help get Lauren some additional subscribers, she is just a very sweet girl... Love from Germany
I don't appreciate the commercial for the jewelry brand. Also, for jewelry, I support small businesses in the diamond district in Chinatown, in NYC. I buy real gold, 14, 18, or even 24k. Never junk vermeil, that is a complete waste of money.
I appreciate your efforts to support small businesses, I think that’s great ♥️ I am also a small business, I do UA-cam for a full time job, therefore incorporating appropriate sponsorships into my videos is part of how I can continue to make free content for my audience. I hope you can understand that side of a UA-camrs job and why commercials/sponsorships are used in videos ♥️🙏🏽 x

Logoless is everytime more chic. If I wear a specific brand I prefer a decent label or even no one 😎
So true!!! xxx
Yes yes yes 🙌
Thank you for the clarification of “effortless style “. It’s simple and uncomplicated. And it takes effort. I enjoy watching your videos.
‘Effortless style’ looks effortless but in fact a lot of behind the scenes effort & research goes into it!
Just found you videos on style tips. I love it so much! :)
So much great information Emily, this is one of my favourite videos. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next 😊
It is like going to school:
You learn, practice and then enjoy the fruit of the effort.

Wow Emily you are so much younger than I am, but I agree with every point you mentioned.
My rule now is I have to absolutely love the piece and does it go with a few things I already own before I purchase now.
Great tips. Thank you.
Love this!!!
Thanks!! 🥰🙏🏽

Where is the white v neck simple tank top from?
Hi lovely! This one was from Country Road, I’m not sure if they sell it any more though ♥️ x
What do you ask for for this hair cut (:

I don't fully agree with the three color rule. Sure if you don't know how to pair colors together than stick to that, otherwise just be creative🎉
Is it effortless if I spend hours watching your videos and others still until I cultivate a completely bespoke wardrobe down to my underwear? 🤔 😂
❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
