June 21st!! Death Poker. After 60 tries I wanted to stop but then it finally worked. Just run past the rock to the left, don't fall on the ledge, stay on the corner and hold your shield up. Move very slightly left and right. Sitting on the ledge didn't work. Either he loses attention, throws you down or you die from too much damage. Thanks for the great tutorial ❤
I used your method here on a handful of different build tries and it seems more plausible. I have to try a few times on each, both sitting on the ledge has not worked after hundreds of tries for me. Lure him out, go to the opposite side of the rock, put your shield up (with 100%) to block the frostbite damage and boom! Dead bird. Thank you for that comment because I was ready to give up.
Now that’s a fast OP Early build. Good work. Loved the map on the side which will really help the newer players follow along. I think you’re the only one I’ve seen do that.

After about 5 tries of the Deathbird cheese, I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong or it wasn't possible, but on attempt 6, I got blasted off by a screech, and was about to lose my mind, but when I popped up at the grace, I had the poker. Much appreciated. Always loved this weapon, could never get it so easily.
I actually wasn't sure if I wanted to post this route just because that cheese can be tricky sometimes. At the end of the day I think this weapon is so cool it's worth it, especially that early. I'm glad you got it to work and thanks for the comment.
I've never played Elden ring before but this build seemed pretty cool to make so i went with it. Took me about 1 hour because i couldnt make the drops down to the swamp without dying. Thank you so much :)

Amazing video as always I just wanted to say if you can't cheese the deathbird you can kill him with sacred blade ash of war or any holy damage weapon They are too weak against them you can take almost half of his health with 3 hit ❤
was doubting the Bird cheese but after 20 attempts I was able to get it. Keeping him aggro once on the ledge was the most difficult part and the sitting gesture made it where it was all or nothing( either his attacked hit me and I slide off the ledge to my death or no hits at all)

Hey, Vigor is always good, a bit of endurance and mind. Dexterity if you want to fight in melee or intel if you want a mage type build. I will definitely make more guides in the future, It takes some time to come up with the route. And thanks !

Reporting back on my 31 try … I actual finally did it but funny this is I sat in the spot left cuz I couldn’t stomach seeing failure again & I realized he fell😊
Once I saw you can farm Greyoll with Deathspoker I had to route with it. I like killing Tree Sentinel/ Grafted Scion for the runes and buy the holy pots, get the medallions go to Altus get sacred blade and epitaph, holy scorpion charm(This is over kill you really just need holy pots) you can get a +4/+6 farm power level with greyoll farm before fighting any main boss😂😂. I was thinking doing this scales you really hard and you can just kill Renala and switch you build.
This is like the best early game rune farm, then you can kill Godrick then do Varres quest line to get unlock the best time farm😂 Once you know what to do you forget this is a soulslike and is supposed to be difficult
btw the golden seed isnt that good if you take the stone key you can get erd tree talisman really early by the end of the game youll have more than you need to get all the flasks

Definitely, just upgrade Death's Poker when you get access to more somber stones. You can also replace the staff with the Carian Scepter or Lusat's staff later on. And no problem !

@@doom8281 Intelligence first. Get that to 80 ASAP. Ghostflame ignition is going to to be your primary weapon. Get your vig to 60. The rest is whatever...put a few points into mind for more FP, endurance for more stamina, and a few in dex, but Intelligence is your main goal.

Nice video very helpful! When you kill the knight on the horse for the Golden Vow you do it on Torrent, somehow I cant do that. Am I missing something?
id imagine he switched to using his offhand staff, on PS u hold triangle and press L1 to switch to using it while mounted, while standing u can use triangle and R1 or L1 to 2 hand that weapon, sometimes u will see people do that in these vids to use a weapon they dont have enuff attributes in to use 1 handed

It took me about 5 hours, 2 beers, 8 blunts and my wife cursing on me, but it was all worth it. 😂

Completely unnecessary. Just buy Holy Water Pots and throw it. The Deathbird dies almost instantly as it is very weak to Holy damage.
Key word buy when you can just cheese it for free
@Redacted_zt but even if the bird does die u can still fall off while the bird does to killing u both so u get the poker but not the runes

Hey, the weapon scales off intelligence and dexterity so focus on those 2 for damage.
Also invest in vigor and endurance for survivability

if you gonna add fire's deadly sin to receipt it will reset frostbite and almost every second does frost proc.

To new players... NONE of this will help u. if u dont dodge/roll/parry at the RIGHT SEC....no items will matter.

The ash of war levels up with intelligence, the weapon itself levels up with dexterity. Those are the only stats that matter.

Best value for time imo. There are better builds but they would take WAY longer to setup.

Hey, so I just pulled this off, it really does take luck and patience as I had a few tries in before I got lucky enough.
Just a heads up you can farm that dragon in caelid by bleeding it and then immediately resting at the grace.
Yeah I didn't want to show such an exploit in a guide that a lot of beginners might watch.

As long as you upgrade the weapon more as you go and get some cool spells it's one of the best build till the end
