Brother I polish watches for a living. You are truly a master for your work! God bless you.

Ottimo lavoro 👍
I have the very same watch which was given to me as a present for my 21st birthday by my father. That was in 1974. I wore it for twenty consecutive years until I dismissed it and forgot it in a drawer for almost 30 years until I found it back last year. It was still running just fine but as the pushers got stuck I decided to let it have a well deserved (and needed) service by a trusted watchmaker. Bracelet and case however were left untouched, as I believe a 50 years old watch with a shining case and a rattling bracelet as well as a à worn out dial and hands doesn’t really make much sense. (Not to mention the mismatched chronograph hands your watch shows) you obviously did a very skilful job by restoring this worn out watch but, as you may be well aware of, this is a highly debated topic among the vintage watches collectors world. Just my two cents.
Anyway, regards and my congrats again on the great job.
Astounding attention to detail. Wonderful work on a beautiful watch.

Hi, Great restoration the best I have seen for that model. If it were my watch I would replace the minute counter hand for the correct Seiko part. It will be perfect doing so. Regards!
Thank you for your comment! It was a customers watch, who wants to keep all the parts.
It's amazing how you restored the case. Well done. I hope one day to become as good as you

Thank you for your comment! 😃
Really nice work.
I like this model sooooo much but they are ridiculous €€€ for a good one.
I bought a very very good case and crystal a long time ago. It came with the wrong caseback though .
My aim was to buy the movement, dial etc bit by bit to build one up then COVID happened so my priorities changed.
I still have the case so who knows. Maybe I'll get mine one day 😁
Thanks for your comment! I’m sure you’ll build up this beautiful Seiko Chronograph one day!
The natural sounds of work is more dalicate to me. You shouldn't have to insert extra loud music. Just IMHO nevermind. Very well craftsmanship.
Thanks for your comment 🙏 Will try my best and have it in my mind for the next video.
Good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it
Richtig toll 💪
Vielen Dank 🙏
👏👏👏👏
Superb work, but on which planet this work is labor cost effective?
Thanks for your comment! Well, often a watch’s value depends on its emotional worth of the customer.
What year was this watch made? Also I'm curious you only ever show the case restoration? Who restores the movements and is there a video somewhere of those movement servicing/ repairs?
Basically brand new...
Bracelet is worn out and very bad loose links with huge gaps. It looks great though!
Yes, the bracelet is not in a great condition, the customer wants to replace it anyway with a brown leather strap.
please show that how you tight the clander revet
Unfortunately I didn’t have it on Video 😬
Is it possible to repair the area of the case where the gasket sits? Some of.that area has already eaten by rust..
Do I like the restoration? I want the mf watch!!!!!! I don't care if you engrave a curse on it before I get it :D
wow thx for the nice vid
Iam a seiko fan at the moment wearing a baby alpanist with a 6 r 35 movement it needs new lubrication first two years if i wear it daiy i never have to wind it and for two years with swimming it runs at 3 sec + a day this summer i went swimming and sit in the warm sun the whole day and after this it runs about minus 20 sec a day and the power reserve is less do you think it need service cleaning lubrication or is this normal after two years of wearing?
your restoring is pro the polishing is realy nice
if i look at this i want to become a wach restorer my self
you also have cool tools
thank you
Thank you for your comment 😊🙏 It's always difficult to judge from a distance a fault on a watch. It’s always a good idea to keep your watch regularly serviced.
do you accept work worldwide? or mostly in Europe?
I accept work worldwide, just send me an E-Mail.
Love that watch, but they sure did make terrible bracelets back then.
Seiko make great watches but the bracelets are crap.

Just me, but destroyed all the character of a 50 yr old watch by putting it through a meat grinder.
I've seen a few videos on case restoration, it seems u went a little bit overboard, just saying 😉
