Just binge-read X, complete tragedy that the manga never finished when it only needed a few more volumes. The cliffhanger it ended on is painful. I wish they'd managed to finish it in a seinen magazine or something but I guess it wasn't to be. Maybe we'll see the end to Kamui's story one day but I'm not holding my breathe after almost 20 years of hiatus.

I understood but poor Kamui, such betrayal.... now, Seichirou really was the worst hurting Subaru till the end and forcing him to keep on living.

I'm just reading a manga and I saw the picture of kamui and he pique my interest and X is a familiar anime to me so I thought I watch already the anime then when I search there are X/1999 and X Clamp. I got confused so I went to youtube and search the opening since I remember that I love the opening of X Clamp anime.
Too good. Part of its idea inspired my own comic. A deep kinda comic that will speak to your heart. The way he (literally) touched his enemy's/friend's heart.... this scene will always be remembered in my soul. I hope it touched many more like it did me. Such a beautiful and yet tragic anime 👍
When I watched the series that sometimes different lyrics were used for opening in the translation, but only for the english parts O_O Instead of "Burning for your life" I also saw "Verify your life" and "Running for your life". And instead of "For the perfect dream" I also so "For the path between" O_O Pretty confusing.

good anime, good song, but the end was a little disapointed. I really like this anime and my favorite character is SORATA, The only one without stupid Psychological traumas. Good Anime... =)
CLAMP had an era od being surrealistic and dark also - they had X, Tokyo Babylon, Yumegari or Clover.Better read the manga, anime is not half as pretty as the comic.
I always joke about the difference between Japanese and Chinese as being that, in Japan there is no word that begins with X even though it may sound like it. Could I be mistaken? GRANTED! I'm well aware that Chinese and Japanese are two VERY DIFFERENT languages

There are hints that Subaru was once customer of Yuuko from Xxxholic. and we know that actual Sakura from CCS is also connected to Tsubasa Chronicle. CLAMP is like Marvel consists of infinite stories happening on infinite worlds. Some happen in the same like Kobato, Wish, xxxholic.
Kamui start as an emo...so when he start like a real man Fuuma turns him into a gay >.> The anime would be really better if Arashi n Sorata were the main characters. They HAVE a good story.

I personally view TV series' ending as canon, we are not getting anything other than that( and movie's ending is rushed garbage.
This is why I quit the manga and decided the anime series is the definitive version.
