I can't believe I somehow accidentally found it, I watched this anime on TV somewhere in, the memory of this anime is stuck in my head since elementary school. What a relief
Hands down, one of the best BL anime Japan has ever made, IMO. The movie ending still leaves me with goosebumps. This is an absolute must-watch for all BL fans, especially the younger generations.

OH SQUIRREL' plot veers wildly to the left Don't get me wrong, I love these ladies. Every idea they have is great. Just they throw all their ideas into a blender, turn it on until it's an unintelligible artful mess, and set the concoction on fire that ends suddenly with barely any of it explained. They make you hurt and happy and sad and "SERIOUSLY WTF IS GOING ON HERE??!?!" and just give me more. All of it.

I think even though it is sad, it makes sense in the corse of the series that one of them would die, the series is a tragedy, in every adaptation Kamui or Fuma dies, Sorata, Karen and Kotori dies, which seems to be the fate of every character that tries stop another or that tries to save another, in a way Seishiro died to save Subaru and from the begin of X and Tokyo Baballon the stories tells us that one of them will kill another. It is inevitable but still tragic and sad for sure.
@@miam.9119 In Tokyo Babylon Seishiro saves Subaru saying "Subaru has a destiny to fulfill and i wont let anyone get in the way of it." Seishiro was refering to the events of X. When the time came i think Subaru learned he would have to kill Seishiro eventually and refused to participate in it and departs tokyo with his sister never to return. So Seishiro kills Hokuto to provoke Subaru to seek revenge, so he can fulfill his destiny and save human civilization. Everyone has a Yin to their Yang or vice versa in CLAMP stories.
Cliche I’ll go with is “You cant beat the classics.” This one has, damned if i may has helped shaped and changed my life for the better. Yet only time will tell … thank you!
It's CLAMP playing around. All their Manga have a hint on it... like, if you really want it to be, it's there. But nothing more than that. This has more action and drama then anything else
While X is not BL, there are characters in X that are (or were) in same sex relationships of some sort, like Subaru (that used to be the protagonist of Tokyo Babylon, that happens before X). CLAMP always dealt with those subjects with great naturality, which is very healthy.
