Simpler times my friend. I remember reading SBR monthly back in 2010/2011 right before JoJolion started. Although before the anime we had the OVAs like the 2007 Phantom Blood movie and the Egypt arc from part 3 animated back in 1993 I believe.
I like how most of the openings reflect their respective protagonist's personality. Jonathan's opening is serious and dramamtic, Joseph's is more fun and laid back, Jotaro's is edgy and badass, etc.
Josuke is a pure teen in all their moments. Funny childhood, Funky teen, edgy teen, and accepting teen (also, reflects the pacing of the story) Giorno es serious as fuck, he's a teen, but he does not behave like one Jolyne goes from funny, like, i just wanna escape, to litterally the world rest on my hands and is my duty to save it So i'm here waiting for my cowboy theme for first part of part 7 and the dramatic epic song towards the end (alas, i think that it will have like 4 ops, its long as fuck) Part 8 can be just the same as part 4 but remixed tbf, has the same story pacing, except more adult Part 9 is just despacito
@@alexiskapotaringa If I remember these numbers correctly, Part 4 is the current longest running Part of JoJo’s, with 174 chapters, with the anime adaptation getting 3 openings with 2 of them having a second variation. Meanwhile, Part 7 is actually on the shorter side of the series, with only 95 chapters, making it the 3rd shortest Part after Parts 1 and 2 which stand at 44 and 69 respectively. So if I had to guess, Part 7’s only going to get 2, maybe 3 openings, with the opening switching for the first episode of the D4C, A.K.A, “Who fuckin’ shot this man” arc, and maybe one last time during the second half of the D4C, A.K.A, “Retards on a train” arc.
Yeah, completely agree I was a huge JoJo fan but most of my hype has worn out but I can still admit that they all are absolutely amazing. I don't particularly enjoy part 6's openings all that much but I can still appreciate them because while it's not something I'd jam out to it's still beautiful music

if you want to know the difference between part 6 in opening 1 v2. opening 1 v2 in episode 12 they added a sfx stand, no scene changes. if you want to know the difference between part 6 in opening 1 v3 opening 1 v3 in episode 24 they removed the sfx stand, no scene changes. only the placement of credit is different in the opening.

Not gonna lie, this intro was perfect as a conclusion to this jojo universe. How it all started in part 1 and it all concluded in a similar way in part 6. best part about the final episode though is the fact that it ended with the og roundabout ending. The iconic “to be continued”, which sort of hints at a certain race across the US :)

I don't get how people hated Chase so much. It was so good despite being super dark compared to the first opening of the part, I just thought it reflected very well that behind this first impression we have of Bizarre town, there's a killer on the loose and it is breaking all the peace and removing the town's cheerful colors.
i mean i used to hate it on first, because the style of music wasn't my favorite, but when I heard it again and again it really sounded nice and now it is one of my top 3 best jojo openings
It's not bad. It's just a regular anime opening. If you take any Jojo opening and change any of the characters with Naruto or Sasuke it wouldn't make sense. Now do it with Chase and it works.

SBR Spoilers: They might just not have him affect it - and instead just have DIEGO stop time like DIO did. Although that might give away the fact that Funny isn't the final villain when he doesn't affect the opening.
I got insane amounts of chills three times in this video. First in End of the World when Dio takes over the opening and the vocals come back at the perfect moment. Second, when Giorno uses G.E.R. especially right after seeing the version where Diavolo gives his villainous monolog about fate being inescapable, then getting his shit wrecked. Third is when in Heaven's Falling Down, when time, fast fowards backwards? Idk, how else to describe Made in Heaven but the manga panels flipping opposite to the way they did in Sono Chi no Sadame. AND THEN, the art of all the jojos and Jolene leaps out to fight Puchi just like Jonathan vs. Dio. Oh my God, these openings are so freaking good guys.
Bar none. This is my favorite epic in all of anime. A story that begins when a wealthy British Man in the 1800 saves a poor stranger's life that ends with a priest of the poor man and the last descendent of the rich British man fighting in 2000s Florida for the fate of the world, fate, and Heaven. What a beautiful world.
I've noticed the main villains in parts 3-6 have powers that involve time. DIO had the power to stop time. Yoshikage Kira was able to rewind time. Diavolo could skip time. Enrico Pucci can accelerate time.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is by far my favourite anime/manga ever. It's been such a ride and David Productions really outdid themselves with the Anime adaptation

Actually Part 3, the 2nd openings has the third version. They'd changed some really minor details that I think almost nobody even realized them. That was how Joseph die. In the first two version they just show that Joseph was stabbed by Dio's knife. But in the third one they show that Joseph was bloodsucked by Dio's hand. (And if I wasn't wrong, I think they did that to Jotaro too).
They added Dio in the part that shows how each character dies or almost dies. Also, it shows The World punching Jotaro on the scene where they're all on the stairs.

@@supersani21 Nah, after getting dragged away by the hands, Kira infact got memorywiped and then put into a job where he struggles against erasure. It kinda sucks, but it is a lot better than he reasonably deserved.
Even after a few years later i still get so pumped up watching all these openings. Watching this weekly since part 1 was one of the best decisions of my life
I think what I absolutely love the most about JOJO's is that there is nothing even remotely like it, it balances serious and even horror movie level shit with batshit insane antics. It has a sense of style and identity that again is pretty much entirely unique and then has absolutely banger music, voice acting and action scenes.
Actually, the first OP of Stone Ocean has two versions, the first is the one where Jolyne faces the jail bars and in the second one she turns the other way to hug Jotaro, not a huge change, but interesting tbh.

Even though I read the manga and knew they were gonna do some twist with the opening of Stone Ocean when Made in Heaven awoke, the final opening still sent extreme chills down my spine, starting right when Jotaro stops time.
you technically missed a version. the jailhouse lock fight uses a unique version of STONE OCEAN where the credits appear written in the style of jolyene and emporio's notes. plus the second batch changes the final section with jolyene embracing jotaro and the frogs+savage garden

I had a rough past few months, but once I hear Joseph’s theme in my headphones, it infuses some measure of unjustified jubilation. I also recommend anyone who enjoys going for runs to listen to JoJo themes while doing so.
Part 6 OPs exist and are pretty mid. And imo Part 5's OPs are overhyped but I don't think a single person on this planet agrees with me, which is pretty sad but it is how it is.
Something i noticed is that while the joestars eyes have a "fire" inside of them like with jonathon and jolyne, its usually orange/red/yellow. whereas after the reboot, we can see johhny's eyes as firey blue.
Johnny's "fire" is also his own. He his entire motive is not being passed down or have a grander responsibility like saving the world. He's determined to get what he want by his own will so his fire is not pure or justice.
Still got more parts bro 7,8,9 all in the alternative universe and part 10 is right around the corner knowing araki so he got some more bizarre adventures yet my friend
I love the style of the first 4(maybe) intros, like 3D but it still looks hand drawn, that's just really cool to me. I would've liked it a lot more if they used it in the show to some extent, but I also understand that it would've taken frickin millennia to finish the show.

Not gonna lie, this intro was perfect as a conclusion to this jojo universe. How it all started in part 1 and it all concluded in a similar way in part 6. best part about the final episode though is the fact that it ended with the og roundabout ending. The iconic “to be continued”, which sort of hints at a certain race across the US :)

I don't get how people hated Chase so much. It was so good despite being super dark compared to the first opening of the part, I just thought it reflected very well that behind this first impression we have of Bizarre town, there's a killer on the loose and it is breaking all the peace and removing the town's cheerful colors.
i mean i used to hate it on first, because the style of music wasn't my favorite, but when I heard it again and again it really sounded nice and now it is one of my top 3 best jojo openings

It's not bad. It's just a regular anime opening. If you take any Jojo opening and change any of the characters with Naruto or Sasuke it wouldn't make sense. Now do it with Chase and it works.

I got insane amounts of chills three times in this video. First in End of the World when Dio takes over the opening and the vocals come back at the perfect moment.
Second, when Giorno uses G.E.R. especially right after seeing the version where Diavolo gives his villainous monolog about fate being inescapable, then getting his shit wrecked.
Third is when in Heaven's Falling Down, when time, fast fowards backwards? Idk, how else to describe Made in Heaven but the manga panels flipping opposite to the way they did in Sono Chi no Sadame. AND THEN, the art of all the jojos and Jolene leaps out to fight Puchi just like Jonathan vs. Dio. Oh my God, these openings are so freaking good guys.

Actually Part 3, the 2nd openings has the third version. They'd changed some really minor details that I think almost nobody even realized them.
That was how Joseph die. In the first two version they just show that Joseph was stabbed by Dio's knife. But in the third one they show that Joseph was bloodsucked by Dio's hand.
(And if I wasn't wrong, I think they did that to Jotaro too).
They also added dios Attack on kakyoin and iggys and avdol deaths
They added Dio in the part that shows how each character dies or almost dies. Also, it shows The World punching Jotaro on the scene where they're all on the stairs.

Even after a few years later i still get so pumped up watching all these openings. Watching this weekly since part 1 was one of the best decisions of my life
I think what I absolutely love the most about JOJO's is that there is nothing even remotely like it, it balances serious and even horror movie level shit with batshit insane antics. It has a sense of style and identity that again is pretty much entirely unique and then has absolutely banger music, voice acting and action scenes.
Actually, the first OP of Stone Ocean has two versions, the first is the one where Jolyne faces the jail bars and in the second one she turns the other way to hug Jotaro, not a huge change, but interesting tbh.

Even though I read the manga and knew they were gonna do some twist with the opening of Stone Ocean when Made in Heaven awoke, the final opening still sent extreme chills down my spine, starting right when Jotaro stops time.
8:20 is still such an iconic moment in the JOJO timeline, it must never be forgotten
you technically missed a version. the jailhouse lock fight uses a unique version of STONE OCEAN where the credits appear written in the style of jolyene and emporio's notes. plus the second batch changes the final section with jolyene embracing jotaro and the frogs+savage garden

Something i noticed is that while the joestars eyes have a "fire" inside of them like with jonathon and jolyne, its usually orange/red/yellow. whereas after the reboot, we can see johhny's eyes as firey blue.
Johnnys eyes with fireb is usually when he is with dark determination
also because blue is hotter than red flames, showing that he is the most determined
Johnny's "fire" is also his own. He his entire motive is not being passed down or have a grander responsibility like saving the world. He's determined to get what he want by his own will so his fire is not pure or justice.

I still can't believe it's been a decade since the first season aired in Japan back on 2012.
I love the style of the first 4(maybe) intros, like 3D but it still looks hand drawn, that's just really cool to me. I would've liked it a lot more if they used it in the show to some extent, but I also understand that it would've taken frickin millennia to finish the show.
