Here's the thing about to much Marvel, it's actually poorly executed products that have given fans the "I Don't wanna's" and this is from the writing, directing and the show runners. The product is what is causing the problem not the amount and you can use DC to prove that. Their best is animated which takes a lot of time and their rushed universe movies although some had bright spots were overall failures. Why? Because no one wanted a murderous, Superman, Batman also a murderer, Wonder Woman couldn't stick the landing & Aqua Man the butt of every superhero joke made over a Billion dollars. Because Mr. Wan & the Writers had to me the better plan than Snyder. I liked the Moon Knight show but for me not showing the black outs really hurt the overall chaos the show was trying to convey. My own writing career is actually a better example, my first book was poorly written and not plotted out before hand and I put every idea I had into it. It was just a mess, now 4 books later I've gotten nothing but 5-star reviews, people weren't tired of Horror they just didn't like the first convoluted rush job, not thought-out cash grab I thought was gonna be my ticket. They need to prep the shows better from the Writing to the VFX, the Directing to the choices made by Show Runners.
Just a quick correction Coy. He never said workplace comedy or even workplace origin. Workplace origin came from an article and he corrected it saying he never said that. He just stated that it takes place in Clarks early years at the daily planet. Definitely not a comedy lol.
@RealCashTokI mean, what are you gonna do? These are movies about superheroes that will inevitably team up. Marvel just got the ball rolling first on the big screen. Oh well. Marvel and DC tell basically the same kinda of stories in comics. Movies will be no different.
@@thedefinitionisthisalso in the comics a lot of the Marvel characters were copies of DC characters that came first like Thanos was a copy of Darkseid, Deadpool was a copy of Deathstroke, Dr. Strange was a copy of Dr. Fate, Mr Fantastic was a copy of Elongated Man, Ultron was a copy of Braniac etc lol
I'm a dumbass. Only when it finally happened I realized the reason no major studio is having a SDCC panel is because they were already anticipating the SAG strike.
Same. But I fear if it goes on to long the tech will catch up just to make cgi people, and the studios be like I don't need you anymore. However, I think the consumer will see through that and be like "this looks like shit", and get their entertainment elsewhere, like the indi market. One thing I realized, no matter what the industry is, film, food, fashion, whatever, because these CEOs live in their rich little bubbles, they know very little about what the consumer likes or wants.
That Metamorpho casting is inspired! Kerrigan is such a great actor. I just love that Gunn is embracing DCs full comic book essence, something I have wanted since walking out of BvS dejected and angry. Both Marvel and DC storytelling are ingrained with a vibrant large connected universe. I’m so excited for what Gunn is doing and I actually think the timing of Gunn rebooting the universe at the same time that the MCU is slowing their release cadence and rethinking their strategy is great. A healthy DC universe is a great thing for Marvel. Having healthy competition from studio heads that understand how their universes work, at the height of their creative power will bring out only the best from both!
The casting sounds great. At face value, it could seem like Superman might be getting overshadowed in his own movie, but we don't know the actual story or what capacity characters like Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, Metamorpho or GL are playing. For all we know, they could be just glorified cameos. And if not, we've seen superhero storytelling with "crowded" casts, yet still keep the main hero as the clear protagonist and figure that the whole story is built around. Given Gunn's comments, it's clear that he has a full vision, and has confirmed that this IS NOT an origin story. While Superman is relatively young in his superhero career, he's also already established. So it would make sense that at this point, has had some run-in's with other heroes. Another thing too is that these characters have all been associated with the Justice Society, which is the precursor to the Justice League. So in THIS iteration of the DCU, perhaps Superman isn't the first superhero to be public; he's predated by the JSA. We'll see...
“Workplace comedy” sounds awesome. I want more Daily Planet. Superman should DEFINITELY have comedy. He isn’t this dark and serious character like in Snyder’s movies. He’s lighthearted and the definition of good.
World building isn't the problem. The issue at least for me is DC has done this sort of thing before right out the gate and it hasn't worked. In fact it backfired multiple times. (Dawn of Justice). For me, I'd prefer a stand alone Superman film not unlike the Chris Reeves era back in the day but adding these other heroes at least to me just makes it JL 2.0 and that angle already failed previously. In my opinion the best way to show "duality" with Superman with another DC character.. his name is Batman. That's literally all that's needed. Everyone else could be introduced in a JL film.
There are two problems at Marvel. #1 - Quality is the main issue. It does sound like too much is going on that they can't keep up and quality control is slipping. #2 - Not enough focus. Of the 18 projects that have existed, how much has been linked to other things. MCU needs focus to succeed.
The Blue Beetle trailer during the MLB All-Star and Xolo in the stands was a big promotion for the movie. My boyfriend and I got really excited for the movie.
I dunno. Check out Fillion in Buffy. Even Mal Reynolds wasn't always warm. Gunn even cast him as Simon Williams in Guardians 2 before cutting his stuff. I think he could pull Guy off.
Hes not gonna guardians superman, there has always been comedy element to superman being clark kent and no one being able to tell that hes superman. Love that goonies shirt as well btw
And cancel, cancel, cancel your subscriptions. As soon as they start losing money, they will freak out. All these CEOs, no matter the industry live in bubbles. They know very little about the common man, aka their consumers. They think the consumers are dumb and will consume whatever they give us; not only is that false, but we are also smart enough to know what is going on and know that we are the real ones with the power. Even if they fire all the actors and writers, we will be able to see right through their mediocre AI shit, and not put up with it, compared to real talent. Look what happened with GameStop, a bunch of everyday people, from all over the globe came together, and rocked their world. The same can happen here. We stop consuming (subscribing) they lose money, and start to loose power.
I noticed with the movie being called Superman LEGACY, I’d say these characters announced (minus metamorpho) are all legacy characters isn’t coincidental so it will definitely play into it thematically so I’m pretty excited about this picks.
So movies can have supporting characters, but not if they’ve other people from the same place in the same universe and superheros? The supporting characters are other characters that can be main characters in other media but that doesnt take away it adds
It's hard to know what the streamers are or are not working, because they and the executives refuse to just be transparent with the numbers they do have. They won't even show what they know. Hence, it's impossible to take them at their word. The execs and studios are being ridiculous. Either pay more and make concessions or show your books. But if you won't do either, you're not negotiating.
The thing that scares me about rocket money is that they’re surely looking at your bank transactions for data collection and selling to advertisers. It’s the way these businesses work.
At his age now I think giving him Guy Gardner is inspired! Younger me that wanted him to be Hal Jordan in that terrible GL film is feeling vindicated today! Lol

Also Judging a homeless person because their homeless is not the same thing as judging a person because their a billionaire. Being homeless involves No exploitation on the homeless person part but being a billionaire is the direct cause of exploitation.
I would say cut ties with the DCEU after Waller and season 2 of Peacemaker. Maybe those shows were far enough along when Gunn/Safran took over. Tho I have heard that a character from Creature Commandos will appear in Waller so I don't know.
My concern with all the characters in Superman is DC tried to jump straight into a bigger established universe the first time they started up their movie universe. I don't need origins, but I do want to be able to feel connected with established characters before everyone is teaming up. I trust Gunn with big ensembles though, so hopeful it'll work out
The description of the Superman movie sounds good, and reminds me of that one animated movie where Superman fights a group of baddies that execute justice brutally. He finds a way to stop them while proving a point to the world.
James Gunn will flesh out these new characters and audiences will gravitate towards them. Give me the established heroes front and center and let's go.
Great go around and topics today. I like the way things are headed for DC. I am in absolute anticipation for Blue Beetle. Secret Invasion and Ms Marvels also seems to be hitting on all cylinders.
I like his response and I’m still kind of optimistic about the new movie but I’m tired of this trend of adding extra heroes. I would have much preferred seeing someone from Superman’s rogue gallery like Brainiac, Bizarro, Metallo, Livewire⚡️, Toyman, Silver Banshee, etc. Let’s go! Bring on the SUPERVILLAINS.😃
i think they're being more mindful of when and how to introduce those characters than just tacking on doomsday after batman and superman just fought...
I think its extremely smart! James Gunn purposefully chose obscure DC characters that most people wouldn't recognize to be in this film along side Superman & not Bats, WW, or the Flash! They couldn't possibly overshadow Supes because most people don't know who they are! It's genius! I can't believe nobody picked up on that fact! I just hope that they stand out enough so that we can see them more in the future!
I think that's obvious with Gun take on everything any way... genius..idk.. if ppl don't like those characters or what they stand for and let alone what Gunn's version of Superman is.. it could possibly be a mess... but getting rid of Cavill and the time frame for the new Superman movie may help it gain some leverage because the hunger for new Supes material, especial since the CW supes and lois is ending before the new flick...
My favourite casting for the new dcu is isabela merced as hawkgirl. She is a talented young actress who has given great performances in movies like instant family, sweet girl, sicario day of the soldado, and the father of the bride remake. She also part of the main cast of aliens romulus which I'm excited for.
i like the idea that the dcu is prepopulated with superpowered beings. gunn did that with the very first gotg and it didn't lose any of the focus on the main characters. it just helped to round out the worldbuilding
Yes Alan Horn quickly fired Gunn and Feige and Iger weren’t ok with it. Basically to save face they quietly made up with Gunn and eventually got him back for Vol 3.
Being a good or a bad billionaire is irrelevant. $40 million in bonuses when ppl aren’t getting residuals is the issue. You can be a great person who does good business that still fucks ppl over. No “good person” who’s a billionaire has stepped up to pay ppl’s residuals. So who cares how good they are. At that point it’s about forcing a more fair negotiation!
As long as they introduce the characters, but have a place for them in the story, I can get behind that. The biggest mistake would be to introduce characters for cameos or to setup their own movies and not use them properly in Superman Legacy
I want this Superman to be about Superman. Having Justice League members is a terrible idea. It only shows Gunn cares more about using Non-Superman characters than actual Superman characters in the movie. It makes the whole film being called a Superman movie pointless.
I honestly don’t think any of Gunns new projects are Elseworlds. That Elseworlds label is merely being used to refer to projects that are already done and continuing like Joker & The Batman. I think Waller is 100% in the new DCU and will have subtle tweaks that lock it into the new continuity. I also think Gal is done. Until Superman Legacy premieres Gunn & co are going to vaguely allude to “keeping the door open” for older characters as a PR move, nothing more.
Love the show! I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like Winston's camera is out of focus, and I've noticed that on a few different occasions. Coy's camera is typically in focus, but Winston's camera is often focused on the shelf behind him.
About the idea for the “workplace comedy” thing, please think out of the box instead of using other superhero movies as an example. Even with the Lois & Clark series from the 90s, they captured workplace comedy well without making it a full blown comedy like the MCU does. Moonlighting is workplace comedy and romance. Also other examples of a good balance of comedy, drama done right is basically The Marvelous Mrs Maisel with the characters who shine in their own way, or even something like When Harry met Sally. I think what Gunn meant by this is that he is going to bring the Daily Planet crew to life which has never been done well in the movies. Only Superman 78 was close to capturing it but did not delve into it so much. The Daily Planet is important to Clark Kent as a character, and I think Gunn wants to explore it more so we see why these people like Lois, Jimmy and Perry are special to Clark/Superman.
Hey Kristian! Weird question, but where did you get the desk for the studio? Looks really good, wanna try to get something similar for my pod studio setup
One of my favorite things I've seen recently in regards to the Deadpool pictures is those crying about Deadpools suit being more brightly red and looking differently from the first two films......sigh. I get it, not everyone knows how movies are made and the world of color correction. But those I see saying this should know and act like they are experts. And this applies to other things I see people cry about online that should be obvious but are so dead set on being haters and looking for things to be mad at.
Arm chair Twitter experts on shit they know nothing about kill me! Drives me up the wall and youd think over time some of these dummies would learn but alas they do not! 🙄
What do you think of the lead actor? I think xolo is very charming, likable and has some acting chops based on his performance in cobra kai. Also the family stuff seems very interesting since we are getting a Hispanic family being represented for the first time in a comic book movie. Yes I know spiderverse exists, but thats a mixed family.
The Legacy casting is like Gunn invaded my brain and is making the DC Universe film of my dreams! People don’t seem to understand that it’s not about how many characters exist in a film but how much focus is put on each character. Guardians of the Galaxy 1 has a crap ton of established comic book characters in it, some important enough to have their own books, yet in no way is that film overcrowded or unfocused. Also Kristian I think you are overthinking and overreacting to the term “workplace comedy”, every Superman film bar Man of Steel has had workplace comedy elements when it comes to the Daily Planet.
For everyone unable to picture Nathan Fillion, yeah, our man from Firefly, as a hard-to-stomach jerk playing Guy Gardner? Take my advice, flip on Dr. Horrible. It'll be like a shot of cinematic espresso, jolting your brain cells into accepting Fillion as a full-blown, face-smackable, nerd bro. Trust me, you're in for one hell of a surprise.
I'd be very surprised if any of these characters play significant roles in the movie. I'd expect extended cameos like Fillion's in Guardians 3. The Guardians trilogy is a great example: Gunn likes to populate his worlds with people to help them feel lived in. This feels like that more than them taking focus (and story time) away from Superman.
Love the casting for superman especially given the inevitable fact that Superman and Co will face off against The Authority, which is the different kind of justice that errs more on the side of The Boys, rather than the Justice League
I thought I read that one of the only shows right now not affected is House of the Dragon bc theyre in the UK but man im bummed bc now Deadpool 3 and M:I 8 will probably be pushed back
I agree with Kristian about making Waller and Peacemaker 2 elseworlds. Keep the old stuff seperate and that way DCEU Zach Levi or Jason Mamoa could appear if they want. Then, Superman Legacy starts a new universe unconnected
Too crowed? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Nobody ever said it was a solo Superman movie. And many movies have multiple superheroes in them. I mean, James Gunn has already established he does that well with GotG 1-3 and The Suicide Squad. The Batman had like 5 villains in it. The X-Men movies have like 100 characters. No Way Home had 3 Spider-Men and Doctor Strange with 5 villains. And of course the Avengers movies.
Honestly the amount of positive comments about all these cameos in the new Superman movie make me feel like i'm taking crazy pills. Didn't you guys all complain that DC rushed the crossover with the rest of the DC universe with Batman V Superman and Justice League instead of taking their time to establish Superman in more standalone movies before introducing the wider DCEU? But just because it's a different filmmaker making the same mistakes doesn't mean they wont be mistakes. You do two or three standalone movies with the character. Then the crossover with the rest of the universe. It's such a simple thing to do but DC and WB keep messing up and not doing it every time.
That's what I'm worried about too, it didn't work the first time. But Gunn has consistently delivered (in my opinion, obviously) on big ensemble movies with characters I knew nothing about. So I'm hoping he can do it again here with more well known (to some) characters
@@Westcoastspidey It's not that Gunn won't be able to deliver a good movie. It's just that his style of movie is absolutely not what should be a Superman movie. I would be very very upset if they made a Spawn movie in the tone of GOTG. Superman shouldn't be dark and depressing but he absolutely should be approached with reverence. But Gunn won't take him seriously or approach him with any reverence at all because it's not the kind of filmmaker he is.
@@tommyfishhouse8050 he definitely has a different style than what I expect from Superman, but he also loves the character and hasn't done a character like this before. Hopefully he can challenge himself to approach it differently than how he usually does. We'll just have to wait and see
@@Westcoastspidey If he was planning to challenge himself and approach the character with reverence. He wouldn't be packing the first standalone Superman movie since man of steel full of cameos from d-lister losers the audience couldn't care less about like Guardians Or Suicide Squad. It would be a standalone Superman movie with just him, Lois, Jimmy, and one villain. Like the original spider-man movie or any phase one MCU movie. But it's clear that's not what he's going to do.
I think part of it people need to realize is the only people that think there are too many characters in the film only feel that way because they know these characters. Unless you’re actually in to comics, most people have no idea who Mr. terrific, guy gardener, or hawk girl are. May be a hot girl, but that’s even a stretch. Do you think your mom knows who Guy Gardner is? Hell no lol These characters are probably gonna have very minor roles. I could see Mr. Terrific or hot girl coming in down the line but I trust James got enough to believe this is going to be a Superman story. If it’s done well enough, no one‘s gonna care anyway. Did you watch the justice league cartoon as a kid? There were a ton of major heroes in the very first episode. And I’m imagining the episode was only half an hour long, and it was great!!!
The clip art of the three of you guys dressed up as Superheroes reminds me of something that happened at work the other day. I had a dude come through my line (I'm a cashier in a grocery store) that was completely baked out of his noodle. This dude was smoking some VERY strong pot, and he was just in Lala Land the whole time -- he said three things to me. And it was the same thing, three times, but with different terms. I ring up his groceries and tell him the total. He's just nodding at me. I say, "Sir? Are you going to pay for this?" And he goes, 'Fuck, dude!" and started paying for it. When the receipt prints, he's just standing there, nodding at me. His groceries are just sitting there, bagged up, waiting. I say, "Sir?" And he snaps back out and goes, "Shit, man!" and started to grab his groceries and leave. He comes back in, bee-lines it to me, grabs the receipt, and goes, "Damn, bro!" And just left. So that's the adventures of Fuck Dude, Shit Man, and Damn Bro.
Personally my issue with the expanding cast of "Superman Legacy" isn't so much, well kind of is the "too many cooks in the kitchen" scenario, it's that DC/WB has done this sort of thing before and it failed. For me, I don't get why studios can't tell stand alone stories without everything being a "cinematic universe". World building isn't the problem but the pattern I keep seeing in DC films with the exception of The Batman (My favorite DC film since '89) is throwing too many heroes/characters on screen. Honestly the only character that should be in the film to represent "duality".. is Batman. It's that simple. Everyone else could easily be put into a JL film but why do that when they can all be put into a Superman film right?
When I was a boy the studio released trailers to movies and that was it. Today they release too much information and people will complain till the movie comes out
Dude have you or Roxy seen Foundation yet!?...I finally got around to that as well as Raised by wolves and lord have mercy! The CGi and special effects alone are the best ever put to screen, cinema or at home, period. Breathtaking. The Foundation especially though, it's RIGHT up yor alley Kristian. It doesn't attempt to hold your hand and just GOES for it. It's big boy SciFi at it's best. Political intrigue on Game of Thrones level, mixed with the world building and eerie vibe that the recent Dune brought; plus it has this intergalactic sort of waring faction and fantasy to it unlike anything else. Apple+ BROUGHT it with this show. Ep 1 is like a movie. Love it. Can't wait for it to be your fave show
For Winston, the character Nathan Fillion played in Guardians 3 was essentially a diet version of Guy Gardner to me lol He had that jackass kind of cocky yet loveable personality in the movie. I can totally see Fillion as Guy
Thank you guys for explaining the money math about how much these actors get paid and how much they get to take HOME which is not a lot at all ! especially when they got certain luxury lifestyles etc etc thank you for explaining that especially to the those idiots on twitter that want cry a loath about how much hard it is for a “regular person” in life and how much they wish they made that much and cry about there lives like it’s therapy … thank you guys for breaking that down cause some need to hear that to shut up
Exactly! Too many jack holes with no experience or understanding of the entertainment business think that every person working as a writer or actor is a selfish spoiled millionaire when in most cases people are just barely making ends meet because of the current status quo. These strikes have been a long time coming and are hugely important for the future. People don’t get that they (the audience) will feel the ripple effect of all of this eventually too.
I think on the consumer/viewer side of the WGA strike we don't mind writers making more, we actually want them to make more, but what we don't want/agree with is that the less talented or just outright poor (quality) writers making more as well. I get negotiating a cost of living increase into the base for union workers but at some point there needs to be a merit aspect that comes in to play to make more. It is also hard for people that don't live in the LA area to comprehend how someone could struggle to live off $1,600 per week when that averages out to about $13k more than the median US income over a year.
As much as I support SAG going on strike, I don't understand why actors are forbidden from doing any press for their projects. Why would that be an issue? What would happen? I hope they can find a way around that ridiculous rule like the way you and many other people in this space do when there's a review embargo, but do out-of-the-theater reactions, which are basically reviews, but not really reviews. Actors better get clever like that because if they can't do even the slightest promotion, then a lot of movies could bomb between now whenever the SAG strike gets resolved. As for Bob Iger's comments about too much Marvel, I don't know if I agree. I think it's the quality of the product that's in question, not the amount of it. Although, it would behoove them to space it out more, which they seem to be doing lately. Speaking of Marvel, the idea that Deadpool is literally killing universes, including the Fox one is pretty cool. I need to see how plays out. And I'm all for Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing The Thing in The Fantastic 4. He was awesome in The Punisher, Andor, and N0S4A2. He was also great in that Jennifer Lawrence movie No Hard Feelings.
The Nathan Fillion casting confuses me. First, it's absolutely ridiculous that people are giving James Gunn shit about "casting his friends" when we're talking about a superhero movie. The gold standard for some is still The Dark Knight Trilogy, and let's be honest, how many people audition for Christopher Nolan movies? Mark Boone Jr? Ken Watanabe? Michael Caine? Cillian Murphy? Marion Cotillard? Joseph Gordon-Levitt? Secondly, casting NATHAN FILLION as Green Lantern would be like casting Kevin Conroy (Rest in Peace) as Batman. He's not some random dude they just pulled off of the street - he has an existing familiarity with the role. I guess that's an addendum to the first one. Third... Why did they cast Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and not Hal Jordan? Unless they're having Tom Cruise play Hal Jordan. You know... Top Gun: Highball.
As Tom Cruise perfectly put it: "That was not going to happen ever. I make movies for the big screen." Once the studios realise they've spent billions of dollars to basically create an updated version of tv (streaming) - then they'll have to start licensing shows to each other, and go back to movies in movie theatres and everything else on streaming (tv).

Coy with the third act Tyler Durden hair cut was perfect for Union conversations
The pure joy this show brings is what the internet is for.
There are two problems at Marvel. #1 - Quality is the main issue. It does sound like too much is going on that they can't keep up and quality control is slipping. #2 - Not enough focus. Of the 18 projects that have existed, how much has been linked to other things. MCU needs focus to succeed.
Winston didn’t watch GOTG? Nathan character was basically Gardern without a green lantern ring.
The Blue Beetle trailer during the MLB All-Star and Xolo in the stands was a big promotion for the movie. My boyfriend and I got really excited for the movie.
Happy to hear it!!
Fingers crossed.
@thekristianharloff will you ever do a shelve tour of the room?
I thought Sam Jack's Fury appeared in the comic first. It was a fantasy cast by the comic writer and after that Jackson was cast in the role.
luckily winston and coy were on the panel to hammer away at Bob Iger a little bit and speak up for the laborers. strike strike strike!
I don't think quantity is hurting the MCU. I think it's the quality of things like MoM, L&T, and QuantumMania
I trust James Gunn, he knows how to world build.
The thing that scares me about rocket money is that they’re surely looking at your bank transactions for data collection and selling to advertisers. It’s the way these businesses work.
Finally get Nathan Fillion as GL and some people aren't hyped. 😂 Yeah, we all saw him as Hal Jordan, but he's going to crush it as Guy Gardner.
At his age now I think giving him Guy Gardner is inspired! Younger me that wanted him to be Hal Jordan in that terrible GL film is feeling vindicated today! Lol
@@langleymneely Agreed! I think a lot of us wanted him in that GL film! I think it worked in hia favor to get the role now man!

If Cena wasn't already Peacemaker he'd be a PERFECT Guy Gardner
I would say cut ties with the DCEU after Waller and season 2 of Peacemaker. Maybe those shows were far enough along when Gunn/Safran took over. Tho I have heard that a character from Creature Commandos will appear in Waller so I don't know.
Agree
Hot Labor Summer! Hopefully things will change for the better after all these strikes.
Will you be reviewing Sound of Freedom?
Expect that viewership numbers for secret invasion are so low
I looked up the quote and Gunn said Superman Legacy would be a "workplace ORIGIN story". Not comedy
I only remember Gunn disputing the movie being a "work place origin". Idk where this work place comedy is coming from.
We will see in 2025!
Bruh the BLEEPing on Winston was HILARIOUS. Make sure to keep that Kristian lol
50:36 No worries guys I got you. It's "Simon" Stagg. ✌
Thanks pimpin’ had a full brain fart.
Did you guys see the photo where you see a destroyed Fox logo in the background on set for Deadpool 3?
i like the idea that the dcu is prepopulated with superpowered beings. gunn did that with the very first gotg and it didn't lose any of the focus on the main characters. it just helped to round out the worldbuilding
Yes Alan Horn quickly fired Gunn and Feige and Iger weren’t ok with it. Basically to save face they quietly made up with Gunn and eventually got him back for Vol 3.
Alan Horn is a consultant at Warner Bros now.
@@Dru2037 I can only imagine what those meetings are like over at WB?! Gunn and Horn passing each other through the hallway?! 😜🤣
Very curious indeed.
There’s definitely been too much MCU shows. It doesn’t help that a lot of them haven’t been good or failed to stick the landing.
Coy's camera is typically in focus, but Winston's camera is often focused on the shelf behind him.
i am very worried for blue beetle but i'm really excited to see it
About the idea for the “workplace comedy” thing, please think out of the box instead of using other superhero movies as an example.
We love the UAP Tuesday Show! ❤❤❤❤
from what I read (and researched after Coy mentioned it) he did not call it a workpalce comedy , rather a "workplace origin story"
I’m not too excited for Blue Beetle. The trailer showed way too much, which probably shows that the studio isn’t too confident in it either.
I thought coy had an edge up for a second and that tripped me out more than the hard R 😂
great show guys, still my favorite squad
Hahaha thank you!
He did not call this a work place comedy. Someone asked him if superman legacy is gonna be like the office, and he's like no.
thanks guys, you make my days better
Love the casting for superman especially given the inevitable fact that Superman and Co will face off against The Authority, which is the different kind of justice that errs more on the side of The Boys, rather than the Justice League
I thought I read that one of the only shows right now not affected is House of the Dragon bc theyre in the UK but man im bummed bc now Deadpool 3 and M:I 8 will probably be pushed back
I think it might be affected now because of SAG
34:02 man crap that tv shit all together…that junk feel like homework…give me 2 quality movies a year and im good!
love this show. such chaos sometimes
I agree with Kristian about making Waller and Peacemaker 2 elseworlds. Keep the old stuff seperate and that way DCEU Zach Levi or Jason Mamoa could appear if they want. Then, Superman Legacy starts a new universe unconnected
Facts!
Bob Iger really made some tone deaf comments the other day. And John Campea fooled me into thinking he was one of the good executives!
campea is a loser.
I don't know what it is about this particular episode but it's my favorite in the past few months.
Mine too. We got a little silly this week
Love these Capes and Cowls episodes! Super fun! Keep up the good work guys.
@@tommyfishhouse8050 everyone always gets upset before we even know anything about the movie 🤷🏽♂️ I'm fine waiting to see
I think part of it people need to realize is the only people that think there are too many characters in the film only feel that way because they know these characters. Unless you’re actually in to comics, most people have no idea who Mr. terrific, guy gardener, or hawk girl are. May be a hot girl, but that’s even a stretch. Do you think your mom knows who Guy Gardner is? Hell no lol
These characters are probably gonna have very minor roles.
38:55 THIS!
When I was a boy the studio released trailers to movies and that was it. Today they release too much information and people will complain till the movie comes out
I guess that makes sense.
I think it should a great voice actor for the thing like the guy who voices Kratos in GOW
No Origins Stories … Just a world filled wit Heroes And Villians … Simple and I love it

@@TheKristianHarloff Oh okay. I understand. No worries. Just wondering. Thank you for replying. 🙏

I make movies for the big screen."
Once the studios realise they've spent billions of dollars to basically create an updated version of tv (streaming) - then they'll have to start licensing shows to each other, and go back to movies in movie theatres and everything else on streaming (tv).
Justice Smith as Jimmy Olsen. Heard it here first.
