Okay so being an absolute newbie in engine work. All I ever do is oil changesm sparks and brakes, shocks etc. What is needed to be done to go turbo? As in, do I need to drill any holes etc? Aside from the turbo, the exhaust manifold and piping, what more would i need to do for my 98 N/A?
@@MattBerrymotorsport Would fuel pump and injectors only be needed after going for more power? I'm mainly looking for something to give it a bit more punch, doesn't have to be CRAZY fast lol still need some fuel economy for college and work. So basically all I need is the turbo kit and an ECU to begin with?
@@2Skills4u I haven't pushed stock injectors so I don't have an answer for that. But yeah you can definitely do a budget low boost combo with the stock injectors and fuel pump

Not fond of that dump pipe, have seen the waste gate flap hit and also not able to flow enough to control boost. Would have been better with the first option

Yeah direct bolt on. This actual kit is for sale (second hand) comes with turbo, oil lines, manifold and dump pipe for $1200 add 300 if you want the rest of the exhaust too. Has mandrel bends and a hot dog muffler. Manifolds by them selves are custom made to order $1000
Ebay. But if its cheap, don't expect it to last and then you risk blowing up your engine. If you want to save money, buy something factory of an oem car and fit it. Atleast then there is a good chance it was made in Japan and good quality
@@haleemmohammed1267 that's a great combo you have there, in my opinion you should change the turbo if you want 350 hp. Tdo4 will never do it. Im using a gtx 2867 on 28psi to make 383 hp. If you want the cheaper turbo option get a gt 3071

Aftermarket ecu at the absolute minimum. You will need injectors and a fuel pump soon after

Where are you taking the oil feed from since u removed the oil filter relocator ? A "T" in the oil switch port ?

forged scat rods & wiseco Pistons, Race Engineering Titanium springs & retainers, 460CC injectors, Td04l turbo, magnecor kv85 comp ignition kit, Aeromotive A1000 GII Fuel regulator, Turbo smart external waste gate, uk custom mild steel manifold, decat down pipe, OBX mega flow intake.
Turbo smart 2 stage digi boost controller, Fully harnessed Greddy E-manage Blue, WalBro 255 lph fuel fump, Aeromotive A1000 g II, AutoMeter Boost, RpM, Wideband, Oil pressure guages, SPEC stage 2+ clutch kit
This is the parts installed and currently doing just above 200hp.
