Gorgeous singing. Wonderful technique and voice. Old school is the best.

This is probably the best tenor singing today. Why isn’t he at the Met? Genuinely curious. This is thrilling.

Great great singing. No one sings like this anymore

This is old school singing! Unfortunately just a few singers like this remain and even fewer voice teachers who teach REAL opera singing (full chest voice technique). How come today's modern tenors lack strength, stamina and masculinity in their voices. A voice teacher once told me a few years ago: "Would you rather sound beautiful and pretty or big and astounding?
    Bravo!!

Many thanks for watching. I was taught that with the correct technique you can have all of it ( size and beauty). Tom believed that if you take a small but beautiful voice and develop it correctly, it becomes more beautiful. Tom’s singing on UA-cam is a perfect example. All the best.

@@craigsirianni7272 Thanks for those amazing words maestro Craig. Unfortunately there are many guys like that, who only think of sounding "loud and as dark as they can" when good singing requires many other things.
Thanks for your singing and your great video lessons ...God bless you maestro!

Fantastic Craig !!! Your nasal vowel -on in « prison » sounds like a native French's !!!
As a Ténor, I admire you so much. Though my main repertoire is baroque and verismo is far from what I identify with, I find it sad how a lot of Baroque singers lack chest voice and/or control. A lot have wonderful head tone, but when they have to sing heftier stuffs, they just don't have the appropriate technique. It sounds constricted, though admitedly we generally a more held back sound with less vibrato for the rep.

Craig's voice is gorgeously golden! There is another tenor nowadays who also sings old school with rich understanding of the technical aspect of singing, please also check our Yijie Shi!!!!

Woaw it amazing to listen this aria from you Mr.Craig Sirianni!!
I want ask something. You have a really good videos to learn about Lomonaco technique but it seems like you are doing different thing in your videos comparing you are on stage. Is it just because of something you are doing different or it is the good way to learn it exaggerating it all in our body?

    • @craigsirianni7272
      @craigsirianni7272  2 роки тому +1

The warm up and exercises for LoMonaco are always exaggerated at first and somewhat physical. By the time you get on stage, the voice is already built, so no need to exaggerate.

Dear Craig, you are amazing, your singing is unbelievable, dark and strong but also really emotional like old real opera singers.
You and Jerry Hadley are inspiration for many opera singers and for me as well, thank you for videos,I am really enjoy it. If you have some videos with Jerry, please post.

Hello! I cannot thank you enough for all the kind words. Considering the state that opera finds itself in today, it's always gratifying to hear that kind of compliment. Unfortunately, while I knew Jerry very well, there are no recordings of us together. As we were both leading tenors, there wasn't much we could have performed together. I still teach full time in the attempt to re-populate the operatic world with the same type of tenor vocal production. Keep the faith!

Would you ever make a video talking about piano singing (mezza di voce). I feel this concept is what has defined opera as we know it today because most people don’t know what it is supposed to sound like anymore. You do it beautifully in this rendition of “La fleur…”!

I think the allergies here in Knoxville Tennessee are causing the reflux. I had the top it was opening up but boom all of a sudden destroyed by this crap. I know it will change just stay the course. I also agree with the stamina. I'm the tenor singing so ritrovarla/Dalla sua pace in the mrcafiero videos. This to me is the best way of singing. I'll never go back even if it means no career
