Amazing! You sing like those giants from the 1950s etc sang. Tucker, Corelli, voices from another planet. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry I am getting to this so late, but many thanks for all the kind words. In the current state of opera, it's nice to know that people still remember what it was supposed to sound like!

@@craigsirianni7272 Agree with that and want to add, unfortunately, people who understand this and love classical music and opera, and want to sing like those gtreat singers of the past, don't know where they can be taught right technique because modern studying is way far from that. And also studiying is quite expensive thing so not everyone may allow it for themselves. Can you, please, advice something on that?

No artsy fartsy highbrow “musicality” will ever be able to replace a visceral energy of a well produced well developed voice. This is how it was always meant to be. Sing it loud, sing it proud. This squillo pins you to your seat. I’d pay too dollar to hear this beautiful artist sing at the Met.

The more I listen the more I enjoy him. Quickly become one of if not my favorite tenor to listen to. Wish there was a lot more on you tube of Craig. Love the intensity or production and quality of the sound. Simply wonderful

@@craigsirianni7272 I listed to it and it was instructive to say the least. Anyone who studies with you is going to really improve. FYI...By coincidence I met Jerry LoMonaco and sang for him while a voice student at Southern Ill University in Edwardsville, IL He was a friend of my teacher Dale Moore I had no idea who he was but my teacher taught many of the same things you talk about. Also, in a singing contest in Illinois I heard J Hadley sing Che Gelida while in school. He was really great and I wondered who he was studying with. It was Jerry L I believe. It's a small world sometimes.

Oddly enough the most impressive note for me is the "fuggite" at 1:54. Being able to change the vowel to "e" without overdarkening it to an "o" sound and having 20 tons of squillo on top. Unbelievable performance!!!

Hello! In the world of opera that I used to sing in, there was always a debate between lyrico-spinto and spinto for me. But yes, you are correct. God only knows where they would put me today? I probably wouldn't get hired as I would be too loud to be used with a microphone!
