  • This is the first encore piece in a 17 song concert performed in 1996. If you scroll down, the concert begins with "L'ultima canzone". As I edited each song and published them, I realized the order as they appear is reversed.

Bravo!!! Perfectly sung, like Corelli. This is a well DEVELOPED voice and the positive side effect of the lengthy vocal development is volume or heftiness. I’d hate to be the tenor that has to sing after you, Craig lol

Wow, what a great compliment. Thank you so much. It’s very validating to hear comments like that in today’s anemic opera world.

@@craigsirianni7272 Craig, while you were learning the "old school" style from Tom LoMonaco, I was learning the same "old school," from Tito Capobianco, in the early 80's. So, I am an "old school" style trained opera stage director and very proud of it. Capobianco definitely knew the name LoMonaco, especially Jerry. I downloaded Tom's Concert at NYU 1953 and it's just a *marvelous concert!* The art songs are perfectly expressed! and he attempts OTELLO! and pulls it off! then finishes with showing off vocal AGILITY unlike any of Tom's peers.

Well, that explains a lot. I had the privilege of working with Tito in a production of Boheme. He was an amazing director and had a huge personality which I loved. I can’t thank you enough for all your kind feedback. Considering all of the nasty, uneducated comments from all of the armchair experts out there who have never stepped foot on an opera stage, it’s a thrill for me to hear such great feedback. All my very best!

"Yeah, guy (Craig) can definitely sing. I can tell he's a vocal instructor too - He's got a bit of that classical/operatic training that shows through.
I'm not a big fan of the band Queensyrthe or the style of vocal he's going for here, but it definitely takes talent! And obviously I have a lot of respect for people putting out ACTUAL one-take vocal runs given how produced most things are nowadays. "

Hello! Honestly, 25 years onstage was enough. I really enjoy teaching full time.
