This is some very quality video it's so clear for 90's tech!
James Robert yeah time traveler for sure 👽😱😬🤖
yeah way back in the 90's we normally shot video using a pleograph. However I'm pretty sure this footage was shot using an aeroscope

Oh I see you were being sarcastic, gotcha! I'm probably older than you you think.
@@jamesrobert7155 Im just being silly
Amazing someone was there to record it honestly
Zakk and Hetfield taught me one thing: nothing can knock a man down with his guitar if he spreads his legs wide.
He should try out for Ozzy!
Plz be joking
@@kolbytaylor9504 he obviously is.
@@highonsleep4219 isn't it obvious I am to😑 r/woooosh
bro... nobody in this world can ever replace zakk from ozzy
Unless Randy is raised from the dead
I do know Zack, you pulled off one of the greatest Rock songs of all time.Wow. No more tears is unbelievable.. Well, done. Well done indeed.
Yeah, you can tell he is not rehearsed or prepared at all, just running off of love and baddassery.
Wow! You can really hear the Hendrix influence in that MQ solo. Badass!
he's playing with the same intensity and give a shit level that SRV Jimi Hendrix and even Clapton during the cream era had. That's what makes this so fucking excellent
Mayer included
@@jClayT6 when I think "Mayer" I dont think "intensity".
@@jimq.customer4526 look at some the old performances. I get it, from the radio friendly persona...but he's a beast. He runs laps around Clapton. Can't say the same ab SRV and Hendrix, they are the GOATS. I get your point though
His vocals aren't at the level of those guys you mentioned.
Agreed. Zakk has always been about the song and the fans.
Me in 1993: “Mom, can we go to Funcoland this afternoon? ; - )”

I believe Zakk is doing exactly what he was meant to do on earth.
The Pantera tribute tour?
First time I saw Zakk live was in 1993 with Ozzy at Thompson Bowling Arena. Alice In Chains opened with Staley on crutches. Amazing show. Legends.
This is a freakin Master Class of the Pentatonic scale! Shit man!!!
"Subway" should make such promotions on constant basis and more often!
If I was a time traveler I would go back and tighten up that mic stand 😅
@Joe Sudz agreed
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!
He still does it, saw w BLS last week..lol
That's funny.
I go see Mountain 😂
I was always unsure about Zack Wilde. I heard him play on a William Shatner version of Iron Man and he was sensational on that. However, this has just cleared the doubt away. Wilde and is a wonderfull player, but it’s a pity that he doesn’t play like this much any more. This video brings me so much joy. Thank you to whoever recorded it.
Classic Zakk... I live in N.J, close to where he is from. Got to hear and see him in a friends studio years ago. True character... and funny as F!
Those pants prove that his playing was too much for the people of the 60's. So the worlds best scientists sent him to the appropriate decade via time travel.
By this time he'd been with Ozzy for nearly a decade so no one was gonna tell him that he can't sing.
Ozzy told him he COULD sing and encouraged the lynrd skynhed and pride&glory stuff
Lol , good one. Thanks for the laugh
In 93 it wouldn’t have been nearly a decade you puts. More like 5 years at best. Did you forget Rhodes and jake e Lee lol
Dude joined Ozzy in 87/88. So 5-6 years at best
He joined Ozzy in like 87 dude. It was like 5-6 years.
Zakk is a beast!!! Love his vocals and guitar playing.... he makes that things scream with delight no matter where he is..... it's the his bad ass self doing what he loves!!!😊❤❤❤
He is always so satisfying to listen to and watch- the word pure comes to mind.
Just saw him last week in Biloxi Mississippi, it was glorious! I'm still suffering from vertigo!!
Think about how lucky youd have to be to see Zakk playing and singing for free infront of subway
I'd stop and watch for a minute like I'm doing now
I saw these guys in April 1993, in a parking lot just like this in Garden Grove. They played maybe 45 minutes, did q and a, played another 40, did that for hours. Zakk kept getting handed budweiser, and said hed stay as long as they provided beer. They brought him a tall boy after like the fifth one and he said "Finally you got smart dude"
by the way, the third song after these two when i saw them was cheap sunglasses
I want to see ozzy osbourne i seen them three timesand that two times i was single and the third time i got marrid and it was me and my ex-wife in portland
Mike, I was there too Moody Music I believe. I have some photos I took as well. Unbelievable day that was!!!
@@brianhoy1670 that was it, moody music!
Wow ,what energy ,great guitar player . He does these songs justice for sure .
Drinking game: Take a shot every time he adjusts the mic
About about everytime he uses the 5 note scale the whole city would be drunk
Or does an annoying pinch harmonic
@@daveg4236 uhhhh yes you're right!!!! That too! Very limited player put Guthrie Goven next to this guy and Game Over!!!!
I have to say I do like Zakk. So much I named my son after him. 🤘🤘🤘. Luckily he doesn't do pinch harmonics or I'd have to break his fingers
Scott Williams pinch is fine. Less is more. Even less is more
Came back many times to watch this over the years. Still incredible
He's tearing it up !! One of his best performance and it's in a parking lot 🤪😂❤️ya gotta love it !!
I just keep losing my mind over the solo's in warpigs. I have watched it so many times. A timeless performance.
Zakk had recorded 3 albums with Ozzy before this video was made. He was already a star
2.
Right, now look at his bad BLS ass!! Joined the Ozman at 20 years old. Been smoking ever since. And don't forget his P&J project. ( and no, not peanut butter & jelly!) 😂🤣😅😅🤣
Nobody with cellphones recording, I miss the 90's! You had to experience it in person. 🤘
He's a beast. Does Jersey proud.
Holy Shit !! This just rips ! I saw Zakk a couple time’s electric and once saw him Acoustic in Arizona,he’s an amazing player with massive talent! This footage is from his early days young and fucking spunky ! Both of the solos filled with speedy pentatonic runs and pinch harmonics and Zakk always adding additional notes in between! This is what it’s all about folks Rock N Roll Peace ☮ from Hawaii 🎸🍄🌺🌋🐠🌸🌴🏝🏄🏻♂🐬🤙⛵⛴🍺🐳
this dudes gone b famous some day!
I sure hope so!
He was already famous at this point... more or less. He started with ozzy in the late 80's.

The bell bottoms rock the casbah as well.
Funny! I was just thinking I didn't approve of the bass players apparel!
Revel Heir sort of a whiteboy version of In Living Colour lol
And the price tag on his bass
looking back at this, I'm so grateful for whoever recorded this. The sound quality is amazing too
