@@agiosthanatos2300 I'm 51 and seen some versions of this parking lot performance since some 10 years ago or sumthin. Damn time flies but the music fkn stays!!!! Gotta love that
It's amazing, in this year Zakk was already playing with Ozzy Osbourne for 5 years. And there he's playing parking lots during his spare time, to work on his solo carreer. Hats off!
One of the best ???? How many you putting in there to get to one of the best. I love Zakk. I really do. But id say he is the 3rd best to work with Ozzy. I put him behind Randy of course. Also i put him behind Jake. So he isnt even one of the best for the man that put him on the map.

This was a pleasant find. Without sounding like some "older" person, I'm gonna say those were the days of parking lot jams, smoking pot & drinking in public without the law interfering. Oh, did I mention all that glorious hair. Thanks, for sharing.
Awesome guitar player hands down ! And a jersey boy playing for the boss ! All you haters. , stop hating , just jealous of pure talent , Ozzy the boss took him as a son at 19 years old ! Says the world about this guy !
Gerald Dixon Cummings yup. Zakk met Ed and Gary in the fall of 1992 for A Guitar World article and iirc Ed mentions how no one ever plays the Sweet Home Alabama lick correctly bets Zakk “a dollar damn fifty” of he can play it right and shows him the proper way afterwards. Because it is a bullshit memo. There are no real rules in music, if you play a lot of notes interesting, and are comfortable with that language, then that is that. Not everyone speaks the same way, some can only speak basic language, some find it easy to speak complex vocabulary. Guitar solos are a way to speak.
For some reason bands come to Alabama and think they have to play Sweet Home. Nothing wrong with it but I wonder if they think it's like our Theme Song and feel obliged to give it a try?? Some bands do it well, like Zakk at Subway, others not so much. 😂
Zakk only knows one speed. Full throttle. I love it.
Zakk should name a CD full throttle
“We’re gonna slow it down a little”. Proceeds to totally shred the blues.
"a little bit" right.
In 1993, Sweet Home Alabama was 20 years old. This performance is already 26 years old. Sh*t.

Bass boy was tearin it up on sweet home Alabama
Yeah, love that tone. From yesteryear.
I was really glad to see him slow it down...
Not for long tho lol...
Love the heavy bass tone on these P&G vids.
I like this Zakk better. More soul and feeling. Just my opinion though. Zakk's a badass either way🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I like that when Zak says you all like the allman bros then he proceeds to burning the strings off that psychedelic Gibson les Paul custom..
Love it!!..this greatness at its best...
A mash up of "Jesus Just Left Chicago" and "One Way Out." Badass
The final solo on sweet home alabama is great, pure rock n roll
Zack's an amazing shredder
