  • Blower motor was working intermittently until it finally stopped working, I show how to test resistor and wiring to verify if its motor or something else.

I will agree this video is a life/money saver. I started at the fuse box knowing that I had replaced the resistor 6 months ago because the High setting wasn't working. While testing the resistor I found that I hadn't properly seated one of my connectors! 🤔 after I secured the plug everything works again.

Appreciate the video. Previous to watching I diagnosed it the exact same way you did and the whole video was a huge help

Good video! My 2006 Caravan blower motor wore out, growling and seizing. I have to change it out asap. The hidden bolt is what i wasn't sure of, so now i know what to look for, should be ez enough to do.

If getting that one bolt out is difficult, that means it’s near impossible to get back in!!

Good video, thanks! My blower motor is making a low growling noise, seeing this helps understand how to do it. Wonder if you even need to put that back screw in the cover while replacing, maybe the other three will keep it in place just fine....

I put a new resistor in and, at first, everything worked as it should. Well that was good for about 2 days and what it does now is hit or miss turning on at all. When it does turn on it may or may not have high speed. Then it will gradually slow down to a stop. Now what? I'm guessing I either got a bad resistor or the blower is on it's last leg.

Sounds like a motor going out of a bad connection somewhere.

Sounds like motor is pulling too much current.
