I like doing 1000 piece puzzles so would probably enjoy working on a bin full of legos. 😁👍🏻 Will keep my eyes open for them at yard sales. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. ❤
I used to collect hockey memorabilia, and very rarely found good cards. I do remember ,on 2002 ,sending some cards off for autographs. Some players were awesome. Pavel Bure signed and sent some more autographs. Gretzky ruined them with autopen. Patrick Roy just kept the cards. The best? Gordie Howe, sent a commemorative book, that he signed. This was for a classroom fundraiser,to make sure all kids got to go on an end of year class trip. I had so much fun doing that!
That Star Wars collection is an absolute goldmine. Vinyl capes, accessories and weapons? Mindblowing - that won't take long for someone to snap that lot up!
I LOVE buying bulk legos at auction, especially when you can see that there are parts of good sets. Getting them washed and disinfected, laying them all out on a beach towel to dry, then sorting them. Then the fun begins. It’s tedious, but a good stress reliever for me to build. So exciting when I can make a set.
You channel is killer! Me and my husband are in the same type of buisness. We buy estates, and buy all of the contents in houses to resale. We donate many items and always are on the hunt to bring new items in the shop. All of those sports cards from late 80s to 90s are all junk wax. The newer modern cards is where it is at and we buy whole collections of modern autograph cards and older 50s 60s 70s and 80s toys. The original starwars figures in the original packaging is where the money is at. We just purchased a huge vintage toys lot that we have been going though the last few days. All mostly 60s and 70s era. It is never considered work when you love what you do. Keep up the awesome content!
Great buys Brother Alexander. Brings back a lot of super duper happiness of memories for Me. Thanks again for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️☕️☕️☕️☕️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️
What a wonderful find Alex! The original Star Wars toys have started to appear on Antiques Roadshow in the U.K. , I can imagine a little bit of excitement among collectors worldwide when these items go up for auction. Good luck with that- patience rewarded!
I had to laugh. My grandson and i busted out my children's bin of Legos this weekend. Hasn't been opened in 20 years. It was a blast. You might be surprised what else you find in the bin. We found old hot Wheels and old figures! It was an amazing weekend!
I still have all of my original Kenner Star Wars action figures with their original accessories (except for one missing Jawa gun, but my other Jawas have their guns), figure cases, vehicles, and playsets in gently used, excellent condition as well as original Kenner Star Wars catalogues and about 80 original card backs for the figures which I had the forethought to keep as a child and teenager. :)
I have paid good money online for the original 1979 Legoland Space sets…it’s hard to tell but I think @9:45 the most valuable Space set is in there, the Galaxy Explorer. The castle would be another amazing find. Bricklink probably has sellers who will buy the bin for more money than you would get from other sources.
My daughter has 2 of the cases full of Star Wars characters and some of the machines and a wookie village. My husband bought them for her when they came out. She also would like to get rid of hers because they take up so much room.
I love those portable tube TV's and I've scooped up a few from auctions, thrift stores, etc. One of them I have (made in the 80's) reminds me of the robot, Gort, as seen in 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' (1951).
My late son had many of the action figures, ships etc unfortunately he sold them in a yard sale when he was in his teens. I bet that the mother was part of the reason he had all the parts. She was the person who cleaned and picked them up or retrieved them from the vacuum cleaner. My son and his friends would suck them with vacuum. They pretended that they were sucked in a black whole❤❤❤
Was that an old Hot Wheels yellow submarine? I think they made a new series cuz I bought one for my great nephew. I don't buy him collectibles, I buy him toys to play with.😊 What a treasure trove of Star Wars figures. I was a teenager when the original movie came out but I only went to see it cuz my brothers went. I could feel your excitement at finding all the original pieces.😀
That is Twiki from the tv show Buck Rodgers . Burn him !! LOL I hated that show . LOL The Star wars stuff is a great score though I would keep all of that for myself . Wait , you need to make money . I would put them all together best I could and sell them all . Fun stuff today and thanks for the videos .
Yeah, I think I did that to one of my sisters' Princess Leia action figures. Poor Leia, especially since my sisters eventually gave me their Leia's to add to my Star Wars collection. Haha! :)
That skirt goes to Squid head and the coat on Return Of The Jedi Luke goes on bib fortuna. awesome find. And that little robot is Twiki from Buck Rodgers in the 25th century. And that R2-D2 is an Empire Strikes Back figure with sensor scope the variant that's worth alot is the R2-D2 with pop-up lightsaber.
11:25 That's a cool Star Trek "Space Seed" Edition model kit which not only features the original U.S.S. Enterprise, but also the submarine-like 'Botany Bay' ship which was the ship of Khan Noonien Singh (played by Ricardo Montalbán) and his exiled crew of genetically engineered "supermen" and women. In fact, 'Space Seed' was the episode that spawned the revenge story in 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan' (1982) which allowed Ricardo Montalbán to reprise his role as Khan and to this day, the movie is the gold standard for all other Star Trek movies with its brilliant score by the late James Horner.
@@OriginalNethead, yes, and the director, Nicholas Meyer, encouraged Ricardo to be subtle with his performance with seething undercurrents of anger just beneath the surface (dark and brooding) rather than simply being a shouting, screaming lunatic. It was a fantastic performance. :)
Unfortunately, the R2-D2 looks like just the regular version with Sensorscope, which was available at retail on a regular card back. If it WAS a mail away version, that value drops to just a regular figure if it’s not still sealed in the original mailer baggie. An amazing lot, though! The stuff of dreams for a nerd like me.
That Cullen card in the first red book (I have it) was a big deal because it was an error card but not so valuable. The most valuable error card of that ProSet subseries was Pat Falloon's (another big prospect that kind of didn't go anywhere in the NHL). That Patrick Roy Goalie mask against the black is also a great card. I have it, too.
15:26 Congratulations, Alex, regarding sorting out all of those Kenner Star Wars figures with their various guns, clothing apparel, and accessories. I just wanted to point out though that some of your bags have incorrect Star Wars dates on them like that C-3PO with his net bag and removeable limbs, for instance, was not a 1977 figure, but was from 1980 or 1981 since it was a figure from 'The Empire Strikes Back' (1980) just as some other figures are from 1983 for 'Return of the Jedi' and in any case, one can find the dates stamped on their legs or other areas to confirm when they were manufactured as well as where they were made (Cincinnati, Ohio or Hong Kong or Taiwan and some were made in Mexico too, if I recall). :)
8:47 Some of those white chunky parts with various holes, etc. are part of the Star Wars Kenner droid factory playset which came with parts, cables, wheels, etc. to build robots and even an R2-D2 unit with a middle leg/foot.
I think I have the same late 1970's or early 80's lego space ship and instructions. The back of the ship folds open and the space rover comes down a ramp. I have some large flat pieces like a landing area and hard grey space dunes and a small control station with a tower and satellite dish on the top. I think that was a complete set or added accessories.
Twiki from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
Don't forget Dr Theopolis.
Beedee beedee beedee. Buck
I didn't watch this video soon enough, you beat me to it. :)
Loved that show--as an adult😅
I had a twiki soap dish for my sponges on my sink
I REALLY loved this episode. It was fun. I was born in 1966 so essentially I was reliving my childhood right along with you. Thank you, Alex...
I like doing 1000 piece puzzles so would probably enjoy working on a bin full of legos. 😁👍🏻 Will keep my eyes open for them at yard sales. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. ❤
Wow! You hit the jackpot on those Star Wars items.👍
Luckier! You! What Fun that was! You have some money there! Mary in Hilliard Florida! ☘🍀🤔😁😎🌴😉♥️♥️♥️
Alex, you are really having fun with those Star Wars figures. 👍😊
That Star Wars find is something collectors dream of finding! Congrats!!!
Great finds. Not many have a chance to play with those iconic toys. Happy for you.
I bet someone will buy the mustached figures, too. 😂 Fun video.
Alex admit you are having slot of fun doing this. You have managed to make a job of what you love ❤❤❤

WOW! Very impressive. ❤❤❤
I loved Wacky Packages when I was a kid. I'm 61, but immediately felt ten years old again. Thank you for these trips down memory lane.
Digging through that Star Wats box it reminded me of an archaeologist! Happy dogging. 😊
It's so fun to watch you in your element! What great finds!
just found your channel, it is like christmas every day here 😉

OMG that's Twiki from Buck Rogers. My husband and I laugh our heads off on the "Twiki falls in Love" episode....Biddy biddy biddy!!! Hahahah!!!!
A lot of us want to know when the Star Wars figures come up for auction. That was a terrific find!
I am amazed at the knowledge of the commenters 😮 This is so exciting 🎉

What great Star Wars finds!!!
Great Harrison Ford impression.
“Busy, I will be” sounds a lot like the little Yoda rubbed off on you Alex. Such a fun job. Great finds. ✌🏻🤍
Love to see you so happy with your finds!!
What an amazing collection.
Can hear Alex now, No honey I'm not "playing" with Legos, I'm working! Some great finds.
Lol, I thought similar," hi honey how was your day? " " I spent the afternoon playing with toys"
Always fun watching you. As soon as I see a new one I have to check it out. Thanks Alex for taking us back to our younger days.
Wow what a collection!
Alex is going to have fun, fun, fun till the legos run out! And he calls it his job!

You have lots of sorting out things for you children. They would probably be very good sorting lego etc
My kind of haul. What a great excuse to play with toys. LOL
EXCELLENT FINDS ❤❤❤
Nice Score! The 'Star Wars" collection is mind blowing!
"A couple that had mustaches drawn on them." Lol, classic! Even Barbies have had mustaches drawn on them!
Star Wars Figures Bonanza! That was great FUN!!
Cool collection. I love star wars.
Lindros played for the Oshawa Generals like Bobby Orr did. It's my home town team.
Very cool items in this lot 👍
Lego! Would love an update on what sets you were able to rescue from the tub.
What a haul!
Very nice collection ❤
That tv is what my family used until I was almost 12 before we could afford a floor model I loved that thing
I love those portable tube TV's and I've scooped up a few from auctions, thrift stores, etc.
One of them I have (made in the 80's) reminds me of the robot, Gort, as seen in 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' (1951).
You are going to have so much fun
Those cards are what I bought at a candy store in Wauwatosa wi..when I was a kid,...with a stick of gum,,..so long ago,,1965-6 😮
Thanks for all the little bits!
My late son had many of the action figures, ships etc unfortunately he sold them in a yard sale when he was in his teens. I bet that the mother was part of the reason he had all the parts. Nothing like star wars figs with drawn on moustaches! Hahaha…

Ricardo Montalban - best Star Trek baddie ever. You can bet he had a blast playing the part too. Over the top scenery chewing was encouraged.(LOL)

Yeah. I don’t think that’s gonna jump in price like Alex thought. I believe what he is thinking about is the pop-up lightsaber version.
Really cool 😊
Great haul!

We had one of those stickers on the paper towel dispenser: Vlad Bags (a Glad Bag parody) . We also have not one, but two Vlads that work here.
Love it.
The original Off bug spray will take sharpies off of anything! 😉
I have a box full of little toys like this that needs to be sorted and pieced back together. The only thing I've sorted are their guns lol
Boy -You hit the jackpot :) Good for you !

Bidi, bidi, bidi. Twigy from Buck Rodgers
I'm smiling with Star Wars nostalgia then boom, Twiggy!! Bedeebedeebedee
Actually it is "Twiki" from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.. Twiggy was a skinny 60s model.. :-)
I never was great with names😂@@torbar9603
I had a nice number of early Star Wars figures. But most of them were eaten by my dog. Still have a few.
twiki buck rogers
bi-di-bi-di-bi. He's missing Dr. Theopolis on his chest
Man, that takes me right back! I remember watching the movie at the drive-in as a shrimp. Such a comfortable memory.
Erin Grey was the first thing to come to my mind…weird.
@@jimmyjawbone I wonder why 😉
Gleeful, like a kid with a.. never mind. 😉
THAT WAS FUN TO WATCH
Wowzers you uploaded late last night 😂.
You have a Droid Factory R2-D2 that usually go have over a hundred bucks.
The Force was with you!
Fun fun😊
They make Wacky Packages in 3-d now, miniatures. I stick em in my dollhouse and giggle when people notice.
Can see your going to have fun with starwars and leggo
I had those bed sheets as a kid lol
Lindros made the Hall of Fame... :)
Cool😊
I had a suitcase 60 years ago that the Star wars stuff is in!
What did you find in the lego bin?
The Marvel Spider-Man card cards might be worth very good money
Cute r2d2 😅😅😅 so fun for you 😅😅😅😅
