My first thought when I saw that scooter was that it looked like it had been stolen and taken for a joy ride, then with the very expensive bike with a missing wheel....it does all seem a bit suss.
What if the storage unit was where a thief stored all their loot. Looks like someone who went through cars with the variety of stuff. And went to jail.
I’m wondering how much of that stuff was stolen. Who needs 15 drills? If so, we can always hope that whoever stole it is in jail, and that’s why they couldn’t pay their rent.

That Ghost e-bike is cheap model and totally not top tear model you show at 14:35.... Max $2000 in new condition. You should learn more about bikes so you wont mix up a $2000 bike to $8000. Even the fork on that $8000 bike is worth more that the junk you found.
Not to be negative, but I immediately, unfortunately, thought these are stolen things, and this kinda looks like a tweeker unit.. bits and bobs, but nothing that's complete... except skateboards.
Looks like a good haul. This container got me thinking though: what happens if some of the goods in there are stolen? Do you just have to forfeit it to the police? Would they hold on to it for a certain amount of time to see if it's claimed, then return it to you? Just curious.
Alexander, I believe the small bar you've found came out of an old floor model stereo with high shine wooden cabinet. It appears identical to the bar insert that was behind two cabinet doors on a unit I acquired many years ago. It was on a drawer type mechanism that you could slide out of the cabinet, and it would rotate, to position the liquor holder out in front, or the LP slot holder that's on the opposite side. Circa early 1970's. I no longer have this, and sadly, can't recall the brand name. As always, many thanks for sharing your cool finds. Cheers!
Okay, I don't want to insinuate anything.. But people who drive expensive e-bikes usually take the battery with them when they have to leave the bike outside to deter thieves and the fact that the back wheel is missing..

If you have a bike shop nearby that sells e-bikes, they can read out the data from the motor, so you know how long and for how many miles it was used and if it needs a maintenance check up before you use it yourself or sell it.
That is a mid drive ebike so any wheel will work on it that is the correct size. That is not a $7k version of their bikes. its more like $1600 or so if you look at their website. You were looking at their top model. The battery is a large percentage of the cost of an ebike. At least 1/3 of the cost.
I knew you'd be good with these storage units, because you are SO knowledgeable about a host of stuff! Sure hope you make some good money with this one. And it's delightful to see Steve helping you.
That Ghost bike should take a generic rear wheel, as long as it the right rim size, and has the right disc rotor and cassette. Since the battery is not integrated into the frame, as far as I can tell, a different battery and mount could be fitted. Getting one to fit the original mount could be expensive. I don't think it is a 7k bike, maybe 3k or more though. Get in touch with Grin Technologies in Vancouver, they should be able to help. The scooter looks pretty beat!

Funny how so many people think this stuff was stolen. Alberta is a boomtown place - wages are high and housing costs are comparatively low. Albertans typically have a LOT of stuff, and it sells cheap at second hand too, at least compared to the west coast, where people’s budgets are much tighter thanks to crazy housing costs… I bought so many great things for very little money in my years in Alberta, from tools to motorcycles to cars and motorcycles. The selection might be a bit narrow, but the supply is always good.
Usually when you're missing a back wheel, they're stolen bikes. They remove the rear wheel and leave it with the lock. They scrape off the serial numbers too.
