I want wow to end with us players taking place in the ultimate Sacrifice to save Azeroth on last time and reclaim peace. For me the best ending would be a final stand between the player and the Enemy both dying ....a personal cutscene. So you could say *I was there at the end of everything*

Been playing WoW since vanilla and, I have to say, I am loving the War Within. It has got enough of Vanilla/BC/Wrath to feel nostalgic, enough modern writing to be inclusive for most folks, touches on emotional cords both positive and negative to make me interested in the characters and we needed the Dragonflight Story, as weird and out of left-field as it was, to completely sever the chain that Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands started, and we're finally back on track to being a good game with a good story once more.

Damn, after running through with the new lore in War Within, i didn't know Azeroth had a soul... We've been playing RBG all the time in end game since the previous expansions and we didn't know the world was in pain because its been impaled by Sargeras' giant sword LMAO.. kinda makes you think if Outland had a soul too before it died.
I blame Rings of Power with their "bearded" Dwarf women (that small tuff of hair on their cheeks). I thought I wanted bearded Dwarven women. I was wrong.

The amount of times I heard the word "the light" or "the dark" made me disinterested in characters and story, it feels like a lazy teenage level type of writing. The characters are trying to be edgy or heroic which is a wow thing, but with some of the previous characters from past expansions, it just doesn't a thing for me..
Is this after shadowlands? Sorry I dont play the game so I dont know. Trying to comprehend the story so far as I fell in love with the story of reign of chaos and frozen throne. And to be honest I didnt get the story of shadowlands so far.
You may miss Wrath of the Lich King as a catalyst for Shadowlands (where Sylvanas broke the Crown of Domination), though Shadowlands was a mess of a story.

I just pretend the actual canon storyline ended with Wrath of the Lich King. During WC3-Wrath, it was made pretty evident that any entity more powerful than the Lich King would practically be a god, and far too powerful for mortal races to defeat. Even with the Legion the best we could hope to achieve was to keep it at bay. Now players have killed gods, titans, death itself, and void beings powerful enough to nuke guardians and entire cities. And every time the progression is identical and so predictable it’s literally a joke. Never any real consequences. Just on to a bigger bad in new places. Unbelievable is fine for a fantasy RPG, but lame and boring are unforgivable.
The downfall of World of Warcraft w/ it’s DEI efforts. Old players will never play retail again, unless they’re famous streamers that gotta play to the crowd

One of the worst stories ever, People struggle with a random elf leading an army of giant insects even though they had no problem with the army of giant insects in Northrend. The Legion story was much better. I especially like the Valshara story-line where Tyrande Whisperwind and Malferion Stormrage allied with the Horde as well as The Alliance against the satyr. That was when Tyrande saw honor in the Horde before Sylvanas burned down her home.
Activision sucks at their job when it comes to WOW. 1.) Kills Khadgar only to bring him back later. Stupid. 2.) Andiun is a loser and a weakling in this after everything, figures. ------ They never should have gotten rid of Varian. 3.) Allleria becomes like Sylvanas and Tyrande replacement instead of her own character. 4.) High Speaker...... the most idiotic character ever, especially if he is suppose to be and think like a machine. 5.) Black Uther with one arm!!!???? Are you freaking kidding me!?? Sylvanas' character was destroyed by Blizzard in BfA (and before that). They didn't know what to do with her.
