Michael is a good guy, but man is he insecure. Travis said it "He's an unhappy person" It's a practice pull not a supermatch just get some training in. That's the difference between Devon and all these top pullers... He's not afraid to lose! He just loves armwrestling. Winning or losing he just LOVES to do it.
In one session, Devon will feel which exercises to focus heavily on, and what techniques to practice doing until they meet again.

Elbows pop up, it happens. As long as they go right back it’s not a huge deal. Plus Michael only has to barely be touching the pad , as long as there’s contact he’s good. I don’t think it was as egregious as your saying.

I do think Devon figured out everything he wanted to know off that 1 match. Devon had his wrist a few times and didn't pin him because he wanted to learn as much as he could. Genius pure and simple. Devon is willing to travel all that distance to lock up one time and lose to learn what he needed to win. Thats the heart of a true champion and something i think that Michael Todd needs to learn to help him become a better champion.

I really though this would be closer. Devon lost. But he didn’t really lose. He wanted to see what he could do in a losing position. And DAMN. He straight pronated out of MT’s King’s Move. The way of the giant pumpkin/corn fed worked better than I thought.
I’m a fan of both but that ref on michaels side was trash. As soon as the match started Todd immediately elbowed fouled numerous times.
Technically he didnt lose...it was a BIG elbow foul in the beggining, by mister Underthetable.

His endurance is off the charts. Unfortunately Todd’s endurance is good too, but his technique works very good at defeating Larratt. Todd’s very technical armwrestler. I think you just started watching arm wrestling like few months ago, and only been watching Larratt channel I suspect. Now you just go around posting non sense comments about things you know nothing about.

I agree with you - but if you watch Todd's workout on JujI's channel you will understand why he couldn't keep going lol. He had a FULL blown arm workout right before pulling Devon.
I'm normally not hating on mr Todd, but I agree that was disappointing. Devon coming all the way from Canada to hang out with him and he takes it way too seriously. It's a practice match and people are going to understand if he loses since he had an arm workout the previous day.

Also, I know it's just practice but if he lost a bunch of matches to Devon during practice the whole world will have an opinion on it and the footage could get manipulated (to make it seem like Tod got defeated). I can see why he sat out honestly, they have a lot on the line (practice or not). But.. don't get me wrong .. I would've lOVED to see them pull allll night hehe. Granted, Devon definitely let his guard down after he had established dominant position numerous times and Michael's surges weren't getting through. That's when Michael switched to press to end the match, because he doesn't like losing even in practice. He was all sorts of fired-up anxious after, however, while Devon was relaxed and all smiles. They go a few more times, and Michael can't get him; but he has chances, when fresh, if Devon goes King's move, to press him quick - just like Jerry does to him.

Sorry dude, that is not practice. That is a match and Devon fouled hard, but Todd allowed him to continue... and he still pinned him. Truth hurts but it happened. Does not make Devon any less of a great athlete but you have to give credit where its due.
