Yo Loco, i appreciate the effort you put into these videos man. I know it’s hard to create stuff like these, but we gotta keep believing in ourselves until we get it. May god bless you man, keep up the great work. Love from New York👍
Another great video. If you ever find yourself in MD or want to come railfan up here hit me up. Would be glad to take you to my favorite spots on the old B&O.
Folkston is unfortunately only a shell of what it once was. Several years ago it was the CSX hotspot of the southeast (the 24 hour logs for Railwatch would be in the 50s or 60s) but it slowly declined with PSR. Think it’s down to 30 or so a day now, the recent Railwatch logs I’ve seen were in the upper 20s. The busiest CSX line in Georgia is probably the Fitzgerald Subdivision between Manchester and Waycross. LaGrange is also busy too but I wouldn’t recommend going there because it’s not a great area, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend going at night. Close to Atlanta the Union City/Fairburn/Palmetto area is pretty busy but has its dead spots. If you end up going down there keep in mind that Union City also isn’t a great area either.
Another great one, also that 2-3 hour Folkston lull is unfortunately DAILY. It's almost guaranteed between 9am and noon that Folkston will be dead, simply because of the schedules of all the CSX stuff that runs through there (speaking through experience unfortunately).
@@LocoPro Yeah I've come to the conclusion that if I ever head to that area on a trip, I either go to Crawford, FL (the CSX/NS diamond) or Waycross. The action is better than lame old downtown Folkston. Cordele, GA isn't too bad either, and its closer to Atlanta.
If you want better audio when it’s windy, I’d suggest changing the audio setting from standard to music. You still get the wind, but it doesn’t muffle the audio.
@@LocoPro It will make the wind louder, but no more distortion. This video should give you an idea on what it would sound like… ua-cam.com/video/enuE2q34UZ8/v-deo.htmlsi=elUXFEdO6sB1Tphf Anyway, happy to help!
@@LocoPro No problem! I should also mention that external microphones on the G70 can act a little strange and distort the audio if the horn is too loud, though I’m still trying to figure out a solution myself.
@@traintalkproductions5934 To be honest, bro, that’s the biggest reason that I hadn’t gotten one. Even though the wind suppression of awful, one thing I have to give credit for is that distortion due to loud noise does NOT happen, and I really feared compromising that high performance with a new mic.
what you do when going to Folkston is stay there when its popping, and when its not, go pop up to Waycross for an hour or two to keep watching trains and then follow one back down to Folkston
Hey! Been watching a lot of your content lately, and i gotta say. You've done an incredible job with the videos! I do have 2 questions. Where do you find the meme sound effects like "incredible" and the others? Also, what do you use to edit your videos? Anything helps, great content, keep it up!!
