I’m glad one of the hosts said something at the end because that “prophecy” seemed very inappropriate after such a nice conversation. It put them in the spot to accept it as from God. It seems like this form of prophecy is more manipulative, and resembles more what psychics and mentalists do by giving names and numbers, which is why he says, “it’s not psychic lounge,” because he knows that’s what it resembles. The prophets of scripture weren’t doing that. Calvinism magnifies the sovereignty of God in all things- which is why this view of prophecy presented makes God’s word at the mercy of the man. God tells us that He puts His words into the mouths of the prophets and they proclaim those words. That is the process God details in Scripture- there is not a part of the process where the prophet can miss it. “He speaks in riddles” is not the same as “I don’t know if this is from God or not.” We can’t activate prophecy, God determines when He wants to speak therefore there is zero reason to “take a risk to get it wrong”. (Advice that we see nowhere in Scripture.)If the gospel is the power unto salvation and God is the one who changes the person’s heart and gives them faith to believe the gospel, then there is zero reason for God to need to put names and numbers into the mouth of the preacher before he preaches the gospel. Scripture is sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness so the man of God is equipped for every good work. We have the ministry of the Apostles and prophets in the Scripture and that is the only way those offices have continued.

1. Psychics don’t pray in the name of Jesus for the person after receiving their name. And if it was an unbeliever I would’ve preached the gospel. But since the name I received was a believer I prayed for her strength and continuance in the joy of the Lord.
2. The purpose of me prophesying the name wasn’t to manipulate, please don’t assume my motive. The purpose of God giving names is to affirm in the persons heart that He knows them and sees them.

This guy is clearly not a prophet these guys use this prophet or apostle to prop themselves up above everyday Christians or pastors to make ppl listen to them and to try to make themselves seem special instead of letting Christ be magnificent
