Love Karl Lokko! , honestly Alfie, you were not someone I was to fond of on UA-cam but recently you've been a favourite. The fact that you have listened to Karl and seen a glimpse of his world shows who you really are, many of us see this side of the world, see our friends and brothers lost in this type of world but some just don't understand how real it is, although you are not from this type of world you were able to open your ears to listen and understand his story, his life, his journey. Amazing video :)

This video really opened my eyes to the more non-mainstream stories that we (or I personally) don't tend to hear about on a day to day. But stories that are still so relevant and do in fact need to be made more public and do need to be brought so much more awareness. This story is so inspiring, although i cannot fully relate at all to the reality of that culture or that life it still hits home for me. I can understand all sides, and most importantly his. So thank you

This is the best thing I've ever seen. Can't wait to read his book. I understand everything he's on about, I know about this life, from the outside. People I know, Then theres my mom, come from drugs to church and wants to help her son do the same. Birmingham and areas I'm from are rife. I feel like everyone I know needs to watch this. People need to hear his story.

This was brilliant. It highlighted the truth that the problem doesn’t lie within the gang member, or the criminal, but instead within our oppressive system that deprives people of the opportunity to show love in a positive way. It is heartbreaking how ones race, class, gender etc can determine their path in life. What a brilliant man, can’t wait to read his book.

Came across Karl's story nearly 4 years ago now. Long story short, the guy inspired me to change my life. I grew up in similar conditions in Toronto Canada. I hope to have just a fraction of the impact in my community that Karl has had in London.

That’s the norm in most of South London. Especially Brixton. I personally don’t really care but obviously feel kinda weird when I see a group of boys I know to be in a gang, I even had people in my year in Secondary who were gang members and one day one of them didn’t turn up. That’s why I take to UA-cam and try to watch it as much as possible. 1) keeps me distracted from what’s happening outside. 2) keeps me from getting involved. I’m 16. Growing up I saw people stabbed and beaten with baseball bats outside my house and the next day when going to school you could see the blood on the floor. But like he said. That was the norm.

I'm a young adult who works in the music industry in the USA and happened to come across this interview. As someone who works with individuals who have large platforms (and watch how these individuals choose to use their platforms), I had to let you know how important these videos are. You are using your voice to shed a light on thought-provoking, honest, and critical topics...that will impact the minds of those who might not have been educated on these topics otherwise. Keep this up! You are molding lives.

I am really loving this mature content and definitely learning a lot. I think visually it would be nice if we weren’t always looking at the same thing. I think that’s what made your flat earth video so interesting was because you were at his house and could film different things. I don’t know if you could do this legally but walking around his town while telling the story would’ve been interesting too. Overall really nice work!

We are often exposed to stories about violence, be it in the movies or the media, but we almost never hear about it from the people who are a part of it. This was an incredible opportunity for you Alfie, to explore something that's often not discussed. And well done on maintaining this conversation very respectfully, you've done a great job. When Karl (I hope I spelled his name correctly) said "I hate you" when you didn't understand what "to get someone" meant, I also felt that. We can live on the same planet, maybe even in the same towns or neighbourhoods, but our lives and experiences will be so different, due to a series of circumstances, which we are most likely not responsible for. And thus, by sheer luck, you have a person who thinks violence is the only way out and you have someone who has never seen real violence. I'm glad this wonderful man got out of it. I think we could all learn to be more compassionate to people in similar situations and try to understand and help them the best we can. Congrats to both of you, and I wish you both (and whoever may be reading this) lots of happiness and a bright future.

I feel so lucky to have watched this. Sometimes you forget to keep your heart open & this was the most inspiring reminder of that. Thank you for bringing this man to my screen.

So I never comment on videos, but this one was so professional and so well done that I couldn’t not express how much I enjoyed it. I loved the fact that you didn’t “educate” yourself before filming the video so during the conversation you were able to ask questions that many viewers, including myself, were wondering. The information was presented in a very raw and real way which captivated me almost immediately. I have been watching youtube since 2010 (I was 10) and now that Im almost 19, I feel myself being drawn to creators that have evolved their content as they’ve grown in their own life. I love this new content and I’m so looking forward for more in 2019! Well done Alfie!

Holy crap this is a long video. This video seems very interesting. I like this new style you’re doing on this channel. It seems almost as if it’s more towards your older viewers rather than the younger ones.

I think Alfie has matured a lot in the last year and his content now represents that. I really like the new style and it feels like Alfie feels comfortable in this role.

This channel is going to grow so much through 2019!
I feel like for a short time the views and likes may be less than what this channel was getting a few years ago, but more and more people are crowding around this kind of content. This new mature content that Alfie is putting out is incredible, you can really see the work he is putting into these video podcasts, interviews etc.
I used to enjoy one or two of the videos this channel put out but now I have enjoyed every single one of the videos Alfie has put out since the comeback of PointlessBlog.

Your past few videos have been your best ever! These types of sit down videos are some of the most intriguing in my opinion. Viewers really get all the ends and outs of what is going on as well as your thoughts and reactions! Extremely impressed with where this channel is going!!

Not only do I love this content Alfie but I, also, love your enthusiasm for it. Your hunger for progression and your need to understand other ways of life, people and perspectives makes you an incredible human being. This acceptance of people is infectious to us all and I am proud of you and the man you have become. This isn’t just ‘likes’ for you. I’m not naive... I realise that ‘likes’ help but you want to leave a stamp on the world. You are doing it! Keep going! Keep feeding our minds with important things xxx
