As your audience gets older this is the content they'll relate to the most. As we watched you as we grew up essentially we weren't thinking about careers etc. in this capacity. So as someone a part of your audience that is 21 and have already carved the start of my career path it's great to hear content creators talk about these things like the adults they are. As this is stuff that we all think about and even though UA-cam is a place we have grown up with as entertainment it'd be nice to see it also grow into somewhere that can also make us challenge the thoughts and feelings we have on our place in our career and passions.

Wow, I started watching the both of you around seven years ago (so when I was 10/ 11 years old) and to be watching this conversation now at 18 years old is just amazing. Honestly haven't watched any of your videos, including the vlogs for probably a year now, but I just knew I had to click on this one and I'm so glad I did. I'm 23 now and these deep interview style videos are SO much more entertaining!
I gotta hand it to you Alfie, this new content is awesome. I’m really loving it. About 6-8 months ago I unsubscribed to you, not for any other reason but I was growing and your content was still the same as what I started watching at 18/19. I’m now 27, married, with three kids. I use UA-cam for my downtime and an escape to chill out. Watching things that were made for teenagers wasn’t my jam. Now however, I’m loving it. It’s interesting, it’s real and it’s reflective of you growing as a person. The same goes for Zoe. Her content is growing more and also her rebranding of her channels is reflective of all of us growing and changing. I appreciate it and happy for you to finally do this. Thank you.

I have been a viewer since you were 17, my daughter is the same age and I watched to find out about vlogging as, to an older viewer, it was all new to me. Actually I think it was when she entered a competition to design a Marcus Butler TV logo (never did get her prize!) that it led to you. A short while later Zoe's blog on anxiety helped me understand my daughters condition to which I will be forever grateful. Being local I loved seeing vlogs of places I know, not the deep fried foods or other eating challenges! You are now adults in relationships with your own homes and business. Things had to move on. My daughter now has a craft business, makes craft commissions for brands and vlogs and blogs for herself and them, again moving forward all the time. As I still follow you all, I relish the change suitable for a more adult audience. Keep changing, it's how we grow.
Yours and Marcus' podcasts are definitely one of my favs I really hope you start publishing these on soundcloud or Spotify as an audio format as well as these videos

actually love these things way more than any other type of videos because sometimes things get too crazy and everyone forgets that you guys are actual people and by doing this you're saying like "hey, I've got problems too, i am a human, let's chat about it".

i think a certain group of viewers my age (23, but probably people over 20) - that are your biggest viewer group - are completely fine with youtubers changing their ways, exploring new businesses or uploading less but instead stuff they are more passionate about because that‘s what youtube really is about - passion. the younger viewers are usually 'louder' online (which totally makes sense) but they are the ones maybe being mad or sad or amgry when things change because they‘ve never experienced their favourite youtuber changing up their content or they don‘t have that understanding that you all even have other extremely time consuming businesses (not saying this is bad - i was the same probably, as a 12-year-old you just don‘t think about those things) and the oler part of the audience just doesn’t comment or tweet as much. i always get excited when people announce new stuff (i actually wish these kinds of conversatoin that you guys had would take place more and uploaded more, like the business side of things). i‘ve followed you both since those one direction lip synching days and what a time it‘s been but i am so excited to be growing with all the youtubers i watched and am still watching and being inspired to do what i love and to not be afraid of change.

There is such a gap in young entrepreneurs sharing their views and having these sorts of conversations. It's totally understandable that your careers needed to naturally move away from youtube and on to more mature things, fuelled by self fulfilment and meaning. Would love to see these chats with more people!
