The stock valuation is based on both real physical assets and strength of stock values.
Some companies have good reputation which is also fuelling its stock value but it is vulnerable.
Tesla is the best example. It will take only days if not hours for its value to go down if something negetive happens.
The valuation is only based on stock value. Real assets have nothing to do with this list.

Companies like tesla have very less percentage based on assets like giga factory, offices etc. The rest are all hype causing over inflated stock value.

I always knew that Toyota has been in the top 10 most valuable car brands in the world for years. But the fact that Toyota is in second place, ahead of Volkswagen and other German brands, shows how good Toyota really is.
A well deserved 2nd place and in general I found it interesting how valuable some brands are, I thought some really weren't that valuable.
I think Tesla is over hyped it shouldn’t be more than Toyota because Toyota produces both fuel and electric cars and it’s sold all over the world but Tesla is sold mostly in America and Europe and they produce just electric cars

Toyota definetly creates more value worldwide than Tesla but the relatively rich, mostly Western investors/gamblers throw alot of their money at Tesla, not because it has more fundamental value than Toyota, but because they believe in Tesla revolutionizing the car industry further. Thus Tesla's value is largely based on belief and hype caused by unrealistic promises.

Revenues are for example :
Tesla : 24 billion USD (2019)
Toyota : 259 billion USD (2019)
VW : 252 billion USD (2019)

@Suresh Yadav Toyota overall is more reliable. Honda has reliable cars but on avg Toyota is far more reliable. Example look at the Ridgeline vs tacoma. Also Toyota is the smartest new vehicle to buy brand new out of any vehicle on the market especially the trucks. They just never lose value. Look at msrp of a Ridgeline and a 5 yr old Ridgeline. Now look at msrp of a tacoma and then look at the price of a 5 yr old tacoma. And compare the depreciation. I'm no Japanese car dude but you're wrong. And if you wanna talk about their most reliable cars corolla has almost always and way more consistently been more reliable than the civic. And same goes with the camry vs accord. When it comes to reliability Toyota is #1 and Honda is #2

EV car companies, some of them even never sold many cars but still their presence are pretty high. Well, if comparing “stocks” etc it should be like that, however for coming years even traditional giants also more work for EV etc, also Apple, Sony, Google might increase their presence in this market as well. Hard to foresee how this raking will be changed for coming decade… let’s see!

Well, that was surprising. I expected a lot of Chinese companies I never heard of, but I would thought several of the well-known brands, like Mazda, would be way higher.
In fact, the list is so surprising that it reads like a pile of horse dung. 🙂 Honda below Ferrari, yet Honda is about 25 times bigger than Ferrari in Total assets, operating Income, Revenue etc etc. I guess this video was made while smoking a bong cloud
