Hey Justin great info. Recently got a top spec 2017 CRV. The other day while driving with the navigation working and the radio on, and on the freeway, the screen blanked out and just had an full orange panel and the radio control would not work either. After about 10 mins it returned and functioned normally for the rest of my 3 hour journey. Any idea about why this might have happened and if so how can i get it back quickly.

Quick question. I know in the 2018 Accord and Odyssey if there is a software update for the display you can do it yourself. How can it be done for the CR-V?
Depending on the update, it can be done by a USB stick at the dealership or by you.

Do you mean run navigation on the touch screen? Or maybe see your next turn on the dash layout? I am not sure exactly what you are asking.

If you are driving a US CR-V it is locked to add apps. If you have a euro model I believe you can still add apps to the vehicle.

Wish I knew. It is such a bummer. I have a Android based head unit in my car and love that you can customize it with any app.
How do I set up Spotify Honda 2018 CRV
You can you use CarPlay. If you have Spotify on your phone it will show up when you plug your phone into the USB. If you have a model that does not have CarPlay (LX) then you can used Bluetooth to listen to Spotify.

You will want to put your picture on a thumb drive and plug in. Then go to the setting in the video.

My 2018 CRV LX came with NO navigation at all. I've gotta plug in my Android phone and I get Google maps or Waze.

How do you turn the screen off?
You can press and hold the power button. Or if you just press the dimmer button you can black out the screen with out turning things off.
@@JustinFullerReviews thanks I did press the dimmer button and then thought how do I turn back on. I now have noted where it is. The power button is ? We just took delivery yesterday of our 2020 EXL lease. We are in our early 70s so 20 years plus of sliding into Civics is over. This gets the same mileage as our former 2012 Civic LX. Any tips on side mirrors as we don't have ones lit up by traffic?

Don't know that you can do that from the touch screen, but you should have a option by your speedometer that will pull up a compass.
