- This is a quick review of the features and functions in the 2019 Honda CRV EXL. If you are considering purchasing one, or have already purchased one this is a nice refresh over what the vehicle has to offer.
I just "retired" my 18-year-old Honda Hybrid (which was still getting 45MPG!). We just bought a CRV on Memorial Day 2021. You can imagine the learning curve ahead of me! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video!!!!!

Does it have DRL? And LED low beam?

Your review are wayyy more helpful then going to the Dealership. The guy took care me and took me for a test drive he didnt explain anything. All he does was turn right, turn left like some kind of human GPS.

the Canadian model EXL also includes heated steering wheel which is nice on cold days.

I wish it had a HUD and AC seats (I live in FL) but outside of that, this is an awesome vehicle. Also, you have a wonderful speaking voice. Honda should hire you. :-)

Im going to buy a 2019 CRV EX because i dont need power lift door or leather seats. Cloth seats are good enough for me and dont look bad.

I am a owner of Ford Escape S2017 wich is a good car too, but definitely I am going to switch to a Honda CRV like this one.
I just brought this car literally 2 weeks ago. I love it. I was trying to find the option to where I can folding on and out the mirrors function in the car. Does anyone know?
On the key fob press once to lock, a second press gives the superlock then holding down the lock button for several seconds more will fold the mirrors (page 195 of the manual). Note that if the mirrors are folded using the remote then they automatically unfold when the driver's door is opened.
I don't believe you went over the fact you can change the color on your main screen(radio screen). 5 colors if I remember correctly. Changed mine to red from the blue that was preset. Thanks for the video. Things are getting more complicated every year.
Excellent video!! I've seen many on the Honda CR-V, but none are so thorough as this. Much appreciated!! Now I"m curious what's under the storage bin, lol. I've been looking for a smaller SUV but in comparing the CR-V to the others in the class, for some reason it just looks more massive in size from the outside.
I like the CR-V a lot. I think it fits the needs of a lot of different demographics. I think you will find if you drive one, it feels a lot like driving a car that sits a little higher with a bigger trunk space!

I got the 2021 exl and the plastic trim around the cupholders and the tray area/tray itself scratch/nick really easily.

What about if you put the application to lock the doors when you forgot to lock them and you left the keys in your car as the keys fall out of your handbag and you weren’t aware that you left the keys in the car. Does the car locks it anyway?

Just bought this model. With the memory seat is there a way to have the seats move back when turning off the car for easy exit and entering? I don't see the point of having the memory seat if not.

I have a 2018 Honda CRV and cannot figure out if there is a beeping sound when I back into a parking space and get too close to a wall. Also when I parellel park will it beep when I get too close to the car behind me. I have read and reread the manual and cannot figure it out.
with the power tail gate can you manually close it without breaking or harming it? if so, how?
I have a 2019 touring CRV. Should it have a light in the glove compartment? joe
I thought the CRV also offered the blind spot camera on the right side of the vehicle . Push the button on the stalk or turn-signal on to the right and you got a view of whats in the right lane .
Sensors yes. Cameras no. The sensors for blind spot will blink a light on side mirror of the side where the sensors detect something in blind spot.
Any help with pairing a kindle e reader to the bluetooth would be appreciated
Why when say the EX-L option for a 18 inch wheel a 17 inch spare is given.

I have the same car why doesn't it have sensors they let you know how close you get to another car behind you when backing up?
You can add back up sensors as an accessory if that is something you want. The come standard on the Touring model.
Great review. I just bought mine and am trying to figure out all of the new systems. I had my last car 17 years. Since it comes with a Owners GUIDE, how useful is the Owners MANUAL? Should I buy one so I have it?
You can download the owners manual for free through Honda I believe. So, I would go that route if you want one. I find them hard to read and understand, so I usually search for answers on google or youtube when I buy something like this.

Does the car come with two car keys and do the "settings" commands sync to both keys when set.
The setting will sync with the keys. Tings like door locks, lighting, keyfob settings, and of course the seating.
So what is the difference between EX and EXL beside the power lift door and leather seats?
memory seating and a higher wattage stereo. I believe that is all.
automatic lifting hatch, power passenger seat, homelink, and Auto dimming mirror

The heater AC will come on depending on the temperature outside. I believe it is set to a range between 70 and 75.

Only in the Touring model does it come built in.
So they discontinued the availability of the CR-V EX-L with a nav system. No possibility of a dealer install?
With Android Auto my Google Maps app connects and projects beautifully to the screen in the EX-L :)
The on board Navi is ok, but Waze is 100% is better...
