Can this be “undone”? Ever since I did it my crv has had issues and glitches where sometimes the trunk won’t open or it has trouble starting, it’s all connected through the pcm. And I’m pretty sure it’s related since the problems started after I did this, can it be flashed to factory?

Hi! Nice info... I followed the instructions, but on the three button pressing all at once, dim, phone and power button, I just cant get through the secret menu... btw, I got 2017 CRV-EX (same model as yours) So do you think this only works for 2018 series?

Worked on my 2020 crv ex was a bit frustrating with the inatalation my screan went black and would do wierd stuff but at the end it worked

I removed the car from my phone's bluetooth settings and re-paired it to the car. It works great now!

It didn't on mine, but developer option was there. After enabling that, my browser was there.
I did all the steps one by one and now the screen of my car takes much longer to respond .. I don't know what happened ..

Try clearing the cache and system back up settings. These radios have very little ROM. If you install any apps they will get slow. IDK if there is a way to allow apps to be booted from external memory, if there is you can add a thumb drive, or even a portable HDD, through the USB port in the center console, to help with the storage issues.
It works on mine, my only concern is that my car android is much slower. I only added youtube and thats it.

if you use Apple car play can you see Apple Maps in crv cluster? I saw some videos were they installed waze app on Honda hack then it worked for car play maps on the cluster.

مبطي if you have an iPhone with Google maps it should already show up. No need to install it
FYI i went and did the honda hack on my 2020 honda civic and it locked up the radio so bad it took me all day to get it resolved. The honda hack guy just says "uninstall it" if it is giving. you trouble well that i did finally! i will warn you if this happens and you do have to bring it to honda they WILL see the hack and will NOT replace the head under warranty so you are full warned now;

Update: so I was able to do all that purchased code download google play service and installed. Installed UA-cam and it worked only until the car shuts off. Each time I need to play UA-cam I have to install fresh app as once you restart the car on UA-cam it says to download the update which cannot be done on this version. So save you time and money guys!
