I definitely would have paid 2500-3000 for the collection. Vintage is king. Plus the top loaders alone are worth a piece of that. No brainer. Good buy.
I am enjoying the “A Day In The Life” episodes. I hope this becomes a regular series. Nice collection of cards coming up. Kudos to James for the idea. He does have some work ahead with the scanning and listing. Guess I’ll have to peek in the store “window” every once in a while. I love the vivid colors of those 70s basketball! Merry Christmas to the whole Chasing Cardboard crew.
Amazing collection. I can feel the agony of scanning and listing, but it will be so worth it in the end, I hope! Thank you guys for continuing to produce outstanding content, I will continue to share!
How did you advertise besides your fb page Did you take out an ad or post flyers? Sounds like you had prearranged appointments, one of which didn’t show up Is that correct? Love your content!
A nice day and buy guys. A good idea to try and it worked no high dollar find but still some nice cards to make it worth the time and money. Have a great holiday season for you and your family.
I may have to do this myself but I have a feeling people are just gonna bring in 1991 Fleer baseball commons wrapped tight in rubber bands inside a ziplock
Another great video my 11 yr old just got into collecting Pokemon cards she has been getting them from a school friend i want to help her with getting more but im not working right now bout to have surgery done that's a nice pickup for 10.00🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am the one that thanks you guys and you as well. As I do watch skit it your videos as it helps me to try and remember the way to look deeper into how everything comes together from phone call to the handshake deal or no deal . As I had been on the end of an error not of my doing but was code blue flat line for over 10 mins. And I watch your video for educational strips for me on how to act when things don't go as plan and be at peace with it etc etc I have a voice text program I use to help me to put words etc etc in to the best reads le way. So this app happen over 5 years and by watch your site and breakers sites I get to learn it by bit as shit term memory still stinks lol one day will be better so keep making them at least you know it helps one guy thanks happy holidays to you & , friends and family God bless
has anyone on UA-cam made a video of sports cards. Titled it, Cards that sell on Whatnot. Because i get confused when yall say these cards will sell well on Whatnot better than Ebay.
Too greedy guys, don't nickel and dime people like that. You said it yourself you paid 10 cents a card. And then you show that last run cards that are worth half of what you paid. You're not just creating content, you're showing the content of your character as well.
The shame of it for that guy that sold the bulk is that he had some solid gems hidden in those boxes that they weren't able to find till they dug deeper. But that's also just how it goes selling bulk like that. Can't go thru every single card.
@@CHASINGCARDBOARD He asked for 3k, that was an extremely fair price and you know it. If your going to be honest, you have to admit you are going to make more than double that when all said and done. No need to barter him down to 2650. He came down to 28 you should have taken that so fast, but no, you just had to barter him down some more. I have a good idea for you. Do some of these videos and allow your followers to make offers on the lots instead of you. Not for you to profit, your profit comes from content views. But if you really think that your offers are fair, lets see how fast people are willing to pay what the sellers are asking instead of trying to barter them down. I am willing to bet within a day multiple people would have paid that man the 3k he was asking. Because we all know its going to sell for more than 6k, (the double price)
I’ll say it, because Ty won’t…..STFU Pete! I work with Vets, battling PTSD. I’ve introduced them to the hobby, and when I can get them cards….we get together, and watch Chasing Cardboard videos. The smile the videos bring to their face, is my favorite part! Thank you Ty, for doing these videos. Merry Christmas to you, and your family.
See right there a true Christmas miracle lot! Thanks so much Angelo!
$600 would have been to much on that first one.
For sure. Thanks for watching.
With 30,000 toploaded cards, you guys bought the toploaders for less than $0.10/per and got the cards and team bags for free!
If anyone watches this channel they will subscribe. Your channel is awesome!!!
Appreciate that Joey!

🇸🇪🇺🇸🎅🏻🎄🌟
Keep these awesome videos coming in 2024! 😊
Happy new year!
Because I have a full time job that would take me years to list LOL
I love your videos 🙏Keep grinding. Happy Holidays 🎉
Thank you! You too!
🐐
There he is!
Looked like a fun day to me. Don’t listen to Pete, let him jump at every 1st offer, and spend some time in the unemployment line broke
Nice
Thanks!
How often do you buy a card just to hold onto for say 5 plus years?
More often than you might think. I'd say there is a least a handful of cards from each collection that end up in that category.
Great video
Thanks Robert!

I notice you didn't mentioned the Bradshaw rookie in the first group..any reason why?
It was in very poor condition.
You should do that in Atlanta
Goodness, that would be epic!
Cool video and very interesting setup with a positive result
Glad you enjoyed it
I showed up! You weren't there until 5.
Ha! I was hoping you'd be there Kyle!
Ty looking like Stipe Miocic
They say I'm a bit better in the 'ring' as well..

Same to you RJ!

Thanks Rex!
Another Jackson sighting and he wins again. Why would you ever leave him home. He definitely negotiates better than you Ty. Lol
HAVE A GOLD BRADY AND A FEW KABOOMS AND A WHOLE BUNCH MORE CARDS AND POKEMON CARDS A COUPLE CHARIZARDS IF YOUR INTERESTED LMK THANKS
I have a question do you ever get nervous carrying 4k on you? I would feel hesitate to walk around with that kind of money 😮
Depends on the situation... but I don't carry around that much very often. And in Northern Idaho I'm absolutely not nervous.
Keep it in different pockets.

Nickle and dime like what? This is REAL and extremely fair deal. What exactly are you bent out of shape about?
It's a business. They have to pay 1/2 or less in order to turn profit. This isn't buying from people for PC. That's just how it goes.
The shame of it for that guy that sold the bulk is that he had some solid gems hidden in those boxes that they weren't able to find till they dug deeper. But that's also just how it goes selling bulk like that. Can't go thru every single card.
