- We hit pass the halfway mark and this is where things get a bit
spooky... well not really. Sure I have unlocked Sonic's true power but
the worst thing about it is how you control it. That's what sucks
because if you aren't careful you can end up losing a life and be
forced to start again. In the meantime, here's Mystic Cave Zone.

They dont make video games or video game soundtracks like this no more so glad I grew up in the 80's and 90's (born in '84) we had the best shit music, food ( turkey n chess hero with cool ranch doritos in it)

The Graphics on this level were so three dimensional.
It looked like you could almost reach into your TV screen.

1992: Falls into an inescapable spike pit, if you fell in it as Super Sonic, you had to wait until your rings run out.
2013: Hidden Palace Zone entrance. (has Mystic Cave 2-player music)
Amazing they brought the unused Hidden Palace Zone and used it here.

DeAngelo , problably you don't care now, but you have to collect all the diamonds, so everytime you have 50 rings, you tap jump twice, and you became super sonic, and every second you lose 1 ring, if hit zero, sonic become to the normal ! that's it!

Okay, am I absolutely crazy? All my life I thought they were just in a really dark forest, I guess it never struck me why it was called "Mystic Cave Zone". I mean doesn't all that green look like really bushy trees? The vines don't help things either.
I never actually got to this stage, but we always played it in two player. So many memories. My childhood is now ruined.

You can already turn into super sonic at emerald hill if you were a skilled player (there are 8 checkpoints in both acts of EHZ)
You just have to collect all gems in special stage

I have very faint memories of the older sonic games i played mostly because i was 7-8 and had no clue how to completely understand games that i had to work with going side ways i was so use to different pov games. I still kept playing non the less unfortunately i never got to play them all the way through i wish i had now lol. I refuse to watch every level as I want to some day look back on it ans just experience playing the older one's as a fresh start since I don't have any nice memories while living with my parents.

How do you go super sonic????? That’s got to be a mod for the game .....
By getting all the emeralds in the bonus levels, then getting 50 rings on any level and pressing jump twice.
There's also some cheat codes that you can find here on youtube that help: the level select code, the super sonic code, and the debug code.
I still hate this zone that hole on the ios it became hidden pales zone
