You are absolutely right. My dad had dementia so everything looks very familiar. My dad passed on Jan 4th 2024. He was 89yrs old

Thank you for your response on your last video. I wish i could get my mom out and about. She was si active in the church and everything. Now all she does is wonder where the cows are and when is her next meal. Im in the process of putting her in a home for at least a month or two just to get her on a schedule and to be around other people. Hugs from my family to yours.❤❤ One day, I might start posting videos just so that friends and relatives can see her.

It’s great that you are documenting all the care you’re giving. Your mother this definitely could help someone else and it also brings light to dementia. I was my mother’s primary caregiver as she lived with ALS and if recording videos like this was a thing I definitely would’ve did that but instead, I did a WordPress blog. I enjoy documenting. It gives me a purpose on the ride. Helps me feel less anxious. I do TV and film anyway so this came natural. Also, my dad died when I was 15 and I have NOT A SINGLE PHOTO OR VIDEO of us.

Dementia is no joke at all so sad
Instead of something sad, I prefer to look at it as a part of life and aging. It’s our new normal. Life is different, but with a positive attitude, I’m making the best of it. Words are powerful so I refuse to even associate with sadness. 🥰🥰 Life is good. God is good! In spite of Dementia. 💜❤️
