Hassam Ashfaq I got an associate’s of applied science in graphic design in person at my local community college. The program covered illustration (drawing, some painting, etc.), Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, photography and basic web design. I feel like the program prepared me well in exposing me to the different tools needed to work in the industry, but I also study and practice on my own time to improve and keep my skills sharp.

What was the reason for rotating and applying "diffuse"?

What if I use 300 ppi resolution for print? Do I have to use different values for each step?
Many of the filter setting amounts will have to be adjusted for the higher resolution.

Go to Layer > Create Clipping Mask
PLEASE WHEN U DO THIS IS POSSIBLE WHEN YOU PRINT IT, IT WILL GIVE YOU THE ORIGINAL WORK
When the intent is to print the final image, start with document that has a resolution of 300 ppi and the same width & height as your printed image. The setting amounts in many of the filters should be adjusted accordingly.
I give up! Photoshop has become too complex for me.
Please don't. This was one of Marty's more involved tutorials. Look for easier tutorials and begin from there.
