    • @ericjette2435
      @ericjette2435 2 роки тому +11

Yeah, but I'd say those were years that Eric wasted, not Charles. Eric was an extremist who chose to regard all non-mutants as his enemies, as well as any mutants who didn't share his beliefs. Don't forget that in X2 he tried to use Charles to kill ALL humans, and left Charles behind to die. For all his claims to be fighting for mutants, he was also willing to use other mutants as pawns and abandon them when they were no longer useful to him. So how would it have been possible for things to have been any different? Is he saying that he wishes that Charles had joined his fight, or is he saying that he should have stayed with Charles and chosen a more peaceful path? Or is he saying that he wished they'd met in the middle somewhere? I can't imaging what that middle position would be.

On how Magneto tooks control of the Sentinels: it shows him taking the microfilm plans for the Sentinels right before following Raven out the window after shooting her. Later, when he's stitching up the back of his head, he's going through the slide show and studying the plans, presumably learning how they work well enough to hack them... somehow.

Best 'soft reboot' ever with a dream team of fantastic actors. First Class barely edges it out as the best X-Men film for me, but they are both superb. Interesting how Dr. Trask was never vertically challenged in any incarnation before this, yet it was added to the character just so they could have Peter Dinklage play him. That is a 'mutation' of sorts, and he makes it clear it's not personal. Small comfort to the ones he dissected.

Erik Lehnsherr is actually a genius, he is an engineer who impressed both Tony Stark and Reed Richards. He's also a genius genetist. The movies don't portray it as much, but he is on par, if not often ahead of Charles when it comes to intellect.

This was probably the best of all the X-Men films. It's many people's favorite. Not only was it a great plot, we get to see the new actors/characters meet the old and intermix, making the great story that much more exciting. In the comic X-Men: Days of Future Past, it was Bishop that was sent back, but it was a smart choice to change it to Wolverine in the movie, as, we all know, Wolverine (and Hugh Jackman playing him) is the most interesting character in X-Men, so we were all more interested and invested in the movie because of that choice.
Quicksilver stole the show with his scene in the Pentagon kitchen. It's the best scene in the already awesome movie. He has one more great scene like this Apocalypse to look forward to.
In Marvel comics, Bishop's primary power is absorbing several different types of energy, primarily anything non-kinetic (although, later, he is written as also being able to absorb kinetic energy as well, albeit a smaller amount). Lightning, fire, lasers, plasma, even magic and psychic energy can be absorbed by him to extreme amounts. What he can do with the stored energy is use it to fire his own energy bolts, or hold onto it to increase his physical strength and give him some measure of invulnerability and recuperative power. A cool character, but no Wolverine in terms of how interesting he is to comic readers and movie goers.

Funny enough, I was actually listening to the score for Days of Future Past the other day.
Was listening to the Rogue Cut, which like the film, it added cues that was not in the original release.
John Ottman is one of the best composers out there and when people think X-Men, he's one of those people they think about.
His themes are pretty known at this point. You can even hum to it.

Fox's Quicksilver is a much better comic relief than the MCU's Spiderman
    And more subtle too

The Rogue Cut is even better! When Wolverine freaks out after seeing Stiker and he cuts Kitty, they go rescue Rogue from the basement of the old X Mansion. They are torturing her and using her abilities to create the new sentinels. Bobby and Magneto go get her. Rogue takes Kitty's power and is the one controlling Wolverine the rest of the movie. When she touches him she says "Hi Logan". In the past Logan feels her and says "Rogue?". I wish they would have kept it in the movie. It makes it so much better.

As messy as the franchise was, DOFP is probably one of the best comic book film ever. It was pure of raw action, great story and phenomenal performance from the cast. It truly showed their desperation to survive as a species.

I love how Quicksilver uses his power to shatter the glass over Magnetos cell. It's the same principle of sound. Its brilliant and brilliantly filmed

That's funny you say that Magneto could kill people in much more gruesome ways. In one comic series he kills someone by taking a paper clip and moving it around inside of their body. Proper fucked up.

They used Days of Future Past to clean up some of the timeline that was established in EARLY MCU.

What's weird about this film is i've never read the comic version, but around the same time this came out, I did read the Age of Ultron comic. Lets just say that this film is a better version of the Age of Ultron comic than the Age of Ultron film was lol.

You went out of order, The Wolverine comes before this one, so much so the post credit scene leads to this movie. Logan is basically after this one, the future part.

This movie came out right before Age of Ultron, and while Aaron Taylor-Johnson was fine, his Quicksilver just didn't hold a candle to this one. That prison break scene was just amazing on its own.

13:07 hands down one of the funniest scene is the interaction between the cop and QS that you cut around here. when he looks at the cop and mouths "shit", the cop with his eyes just says "ya think!?"

The alternate version, the Rogue Cut is much better, than this, the theatrical version. But still, the best X-Men movie for me (X2, First Class very close), brilliantly written and directed, and the actors, especially McAvoy, Fassbander and Lawrence are brilliant.

After his movie, Logan doesn’t continue the story, apocalypse is just as amazing but seeing Jean back was a complete tearjerker in the movie theaters, I still will you could watch the rogue cut, it’s 10 minutes longer, and almost the same movie, but it brings the entire movie together so much better

the prison break out super speed scene is still one of my favourite scenes of all xmen movies and this really did a masterful job of combining the two x-men series in a way that makes sense and yet allows them to retcon a lot of the more... questionable stuff.
