Just because someone stumbles and loses the way doesn't mean they're lost forever. That's the best quote from Professor X & it's true in real life too.
that is an amazing statement
always leaves room for improvement. but sadly, some doors are really truly closed
It's such a beautiful quote!
It’s a line he repeats, but I won’t spoil where.
@@reactswithjax Exactly 💯. We love your reaction videos Jax and you'd be a great Jean Grey or Rogue cosplay 😄. The X-Men movies have gone through so much continuity changes with the Time travel and timeline alterations it's crazy 😧.This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant
The scene with young and old Charles is so darn beautiful. It's the soul of the character; plus, can't get better than hearing the wisdom through Patrick Stewart.
Absolutely..... that scene was awesome :)
Agreed! It was a wonderful scene.
Schnozberries Is the code word
Did she miss the part in the elevator where Quicksilver references Magneto being his dad? “My mom once knew a guy that could do that”
Or the look on his mom's face as they're watching him on TV
except magneto is not his father.
@@razorsfury6519 1.) In this particular continuity (i.e. First Class through to at least Apocalypse) it's *heavily* implied that Quicksilver is the biological son of Magneto, particularly in the next movie. 2.) Whether or not Magneto is the biological father of Wanda and Pietro Maximoff in the Marvel 616 comics continuity is very much debatable depending on which comics writer has creative control of the plot and which of the *many* retcons regarding their origins that those writers have done over the course of the comics you happen to favour - but even then, regardless of where you land on that, the established lore of the Marvel 616 continuity has little to no bearing on any of the Marvel movie continuities. Almost all of the characters in the X-Men movie franchises have back-stories that differ substantially from their Marvel 616 counterparts.
@@razorsfury6519except yes he is and they address it in Apocalypse
As for the government having money to do secret installations, I feel I should quote Julius Levinson (Judd Hirsch) from Independence Day: "You don't actually think they spend $20,000 on a hammer, $30,000 on a toilet seat, do you?" lol
Pentagon hasn't passed an audit in something like 20 years.
I love Independence Day! That movie was so good!
“All you need is love, john lennon, smart man. Shot in the back, very sad”
Perfect example. They literally told us they launder money to do all kinds of secret stuff and no one cares cause it's "a movie."
Just like your parents giving you $10 for something that costs $5, and you say it costs $9.50 and then you keep the change...you've got $5 to spend on whatever you want without a paper trail...
There was a deleted scene where Logan and storm had a moment together but it became a blooper because she got all excited after the kiss lol
Darcy: "She recast Pietro."
It’s kind of funny you can say that and a WHOLE LOT of people know who Darcy is and exactly what she’s talking about. Pop culture man. It’s a trip.
I finally know what Darcy meant!!!
So what happend was, them changing the past created 2 different timelines. Everything that happened in X Men 1-3 was wiped away as that was the timeline where the sentinels took over. So Jean would be alive as well as Scott etc. It also means that the timeline of the younger cast is split now and takes on it's own version of events.
That's really fascinating!
@@reactswithjax Exactly why the X-Men First Class cast is different from the original X-Men movies
Yes.. the change in past created whole new backstories for the younger cast which they utilisied by making more movies with younger cast . The only movie which same backstory in original & final timeline was xmen first class since it happens before the timeline changed
42:34 "So does this mean that the timeline that we saw in X-Men and X2 is a completely different . . . world?" Yep! To everyone but Logan, who remembers it.
And that's why it's perfect that we end the saga with Logan
There is an extended version of this movie called "X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut." In it all of Rogue's scenes that were removed from the theatrical cut were put back, including several other alternate scenes with Magneto and Ice Man.
I still want to check that version out!
@@reactswithjax Yes! And the whole story makes more sense with Rogue, because Mystic's ability was never about taking other people's powers but only about changing her appearance, unlike Rogue.
Thie Rogue Cut Version is much better.
@@reactswithjax The Rogue Version fixes so many things and is a much better film. Can't even begin to tell you how many times I've watched it. One of my favorite X-Men films.
@@reactswithjax It's worth doing a reaction video for it.
Rogue versión Is better than this one, it fixes a lot of plot holes@@reactswithjax
that scene where Charles is trying to talk the guards out of their way is hilarious because even tho his powers could easily take their mind and make them leave, without his powers, he cant convince anyone for the life of him haha
"all those years wasted fighting each other, Charles. To have a precious few of them back..."
that line broke me
@@AidantheLegend That was such a sad line!
@@AidantheLegend Yeah Magento finally realized the error of his ways at the End
He's socially awkward without his powers. I love that
Glad to see you're catching some references! Yes, this movie was made AFTER Iron Man 2, so the scene with the Sentinels was indeed reminiscent of the similar scene at the Stark Expo.
Yes! It felt very similar to the Stark Expo!
Funny Trivia: in the x-men universe whenever there's a dystopian future Logan's always the last to die lol
This film is based on one of the most famous X-Men comic book arcs. In the comics, it's actually Kitty that goes back in time
Ooh! That's really interesting. I love Kitty's character.
@@reactswithjax In the comics Kitty does not have the power of time travel mind swapping, that power comes from Phoenix. Not Jean Grey, but her daughter Rachel Summers AKA Phoenix 2 , Rachel sends Kitty back in time and later time travels herself ( she time travels since this is before Rachel was born.) . The story is similar to Terminator. Time Travel to change the past to stop the killer robots of the future. Kitty can walk through walls and become intangible so almost nothing can hurt her. Wolverine taught Kitty martial arts.
@@reactswithjax As someone who's a big Kitty Pryde fan, I hate that both of the pop culture adaptations of the storyline either reduce her to a plot device (this film) or completely omit her altogether (the old animated series). She's one of the best characters of the franchise in the comics, IMO.
@@michaelpytel3280 A bit of a correction: at the time Rachel wasn't written as a Phoenix host, not was she even refereed to as Scott or Jean's daughter. She was just a mutant named Rachel who's power let her send Kitty's mind back into her past self.
@@reactswithjaxIn the comics, it's Kitty and Colossus who are a couple. The intangible girl and the metal man.
P.S. There's only one thing that this movie left me hugely wanting. They gave us the best that Wolverine has looked yet - in that awesome future suit featuring bits of yellow, and with the grey streaks in his hair and the adamatium claws back - but we never got to see him in action against the sentinels. Plotwise makes sense, but such a darn shame.
As someone else has said, in the comic this is based on, Kitty is the one that gets sent back in time. But also, fun fact: the one to send her back in time was a character named Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean.
The Congressman @ 11:50 mentioning Cuba is Len Wein. He is the guy that created Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus (The metal guy) and a couple others not present in the movies, one being the older brother of Warpath ( who spots the sentinels) I was friends with Len and talked Marvel characters with him every week because he hung out at the comic book shop in the San Fernando Valley where I worked. He even appeared in one of my fan movie shorts for Wizard magazine.
That is so cool! Thanks for pointing him out!
WOW that's awesome 😎
@@reactswithjaxAlso, the guy who says there hasn't been an incident in ten years is Chris Claremont. He shaped the X-MEN into who we know them as today. After the single issue that Len did that introduced Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine and such to the X-Men Claremont took over and wrote X-Men for the next 16 years straight. He wrote the original Days of Future Past story, The Phoenix saga, created Rogue, Gambit, Kitty, Jubilee and many more. He is also responsible for giving Magneto his Jewish backstory and friendship with Xavier. And so much more.
I just assumed Quicksilver recorded himself a mixtape at super speed so it sounds right when he plays it back when hes fast.
That thought never crossed my mind!
This movie came out a year before Age of Ultron, so it was our first introduction to Quicksilver on the big screen. It was actually a little disappointing when he appeared in the MCU, a little less interesting and killed off super early, the X-Men version is usually considered the better portrayal and it's why it was so HUGE when the actor came to play him in the MCU. But fun fact, both Quicksilvers had acted on-screen together before in the superhero film series Kick-Ass. AoU Quicksilver, Aaron Taylor Johnson, played Kick-Ass while X-Men Quicksilver, Evan Peters, played one of his best friends turned hero Ass-Kicker.
The sentinels are probably the most famous X-Men "antagonist", they're usually giants about as tall as a building and are almost impossible to defeat. The island of Genosha, which was a nation that was a haven for mutants, was beset upon by sentinels and it caused the deaths of 16.5 million mutants. It was the first and biggest mutant genocide, that 16.5 was out of only 17.5.
The mutants battling to stop future dystopias is kind of common in Marvel. The future is always extremely _bleak._ In this storyline Kitty was the one who travelled to the past.
So close to "Logan", the ultimate mutant and comic book movie. "Logan", "The Dark Knight", and (in my opinion) "Infinity War/End Game are all in the discussion for the best comic book movies ever made. "Logan" deserved multiple Oscar nominations for the performances alone.
It's interesting to see how the sentinel ignored Bishop and went straight to Storm. They knew she was the biggest threat of the group
25:41 It doesn't... that's why Wolverine was sent back in time to stop it.
Kitty has gone a few codenames in the comics: Ariel , Sprite and Shadowcat.
To add a few more: Star-Lord / Star-Lady, Captain Kate Pryde (not really an alias, I guess), Red Queen, and (currently) Shadowkat
Funny Discovery:
In the brutal opening, when Warpath squares-off with a Sentinel, it is almost identical to the fate of 'Billy', another Native American point-man tracker from... Predator.
The fun part is that in Last Stand, the character "Trask" was played by Predator star Bill Duke, 'Mac'.
😎💯
You reacted to this movie just in time for it's 10 year anniversary.
NOOO. Ten years huh
It has been 10 years, but it feels like only yesterday that my brother and I went to see this at the cinema together.
That's so cool!!
You really needed to watch the ROGUE cut, it makes much more sense that way!!!
Yes! And by that let’s be honest I mean watch a UA-cam video discussing the differences lol rewatching the whole movie would be a lot
Absolutely
I've heard the Rogue Cut is great!
The scene with Mystique discovering the autopsy photos including Azazel's carries more weight when you know that sometime between this and the last movie she and Azazel must have been lovers and had a baby (Nightcrawler). She must have just barely been keeping it together.
(ignoring the very dumb retcon from a year or so ago, so after this film was made)
That’s what’s kinda fun about the movies. You can add/subtract comic storylines if you want to make little side plots …
The end credit scene was a reference to En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse, the very first mutant ever born. He was born in Ancient Egypt, and is a major enemy of the X-Men.
Don't forget, Jean can read minds too, at that moment I believe she read Logan's thoughts and memories
Today would have been the perfect day for Jax to React 💯
X-Men: Days Of Future Past released 10 YEARS AGO, TODAY! 🔥🍿
I kinda understand that the more metal and the stronger the natural magnetic fields around Magneto the greater his range. That’s why this prison and the plastic prison from X-Men and X2 can hold him. But when he goes to the north or south magnetic poles he can affect the whole world.
19:43 I was screaming like a little girl when Evens Peter showed up as Quicksilver in WandaVision, my wife smacked me.
Wolverine in the "past" wouldn't disappear because it is still his original 1973 body, only his future mind is in it

8:04 "We are on the same *Page."* 🤭
Days of Future Past is arguably the greatest superhero movie ever made. It's smart, slick and tight. Every time I watch this movie, I have the same reactions to everything that happens and Ive seen Days of FuturePast many times since it first came out. Its almost as if James Cameron made it himself. 🤔 Days of Future Past is a timeless masterpiece.
The Quicksilver scenes alone put this movie on another level. Everyone went into this movie expecting to hate him and his look. But thanks to expert craftsmanship, Quicksilver INSTANTLY won over almost everyone. Then Evan Peters totally earns all the love with his delivery of lines like "WhipLAAASH."
The timeless complexity of the Paris Peace Conference scene is another great example of why Days of Future Past is the best. There is so much going on in one scene, it could be super easy for the audience to get lost. But the craftsmanship of the scene holds everything together, despite all of the tension and emotions.
"create code words in case time travel exists" just put me in mind of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen/reacted to it 🙂
Exactly perfect comparison at 36:22 great reaction to this masterpiece of an X Men movie. You read my mind at 38:00
The Rogue Cut Version of this movie includes scenes with Rogue, Magneto and Bobby doing badass stuff.
Also I don't know if you may noticed but Quicksilver gave us a hint about him being Magneto's son in the elevator.
And about Magneto being able to manipulate the magnetic field around the planet is very true haha but he need to go to the North Pole to do so for some range matters.
I've heard the Rogue Cut is great! I'd love to see it. Also, I did catch that little hint in the elevator. I wasn't sure if they were going to further expand on that story line or if they were just giving a wink to the comics. We shall see! I had no idea he needed to go to the North Pole to do that!
@@reactswithjax I can't wait for the new video. You're great Jax! The X-Men journey is huge and if you liked Quicksilver in this movie... Oh just wait haha ❤️
9:08 I thought I was the only one crazy enough to think on that 😂
It doesn't make any sense that the Stryker at the end is Mystique. After all, Stryker really took Logan to do experiments.
39:20 In the original trilogy, Magento would easily toss Wolverine around due to the adamantium, and now Magento has to *forcibly insert* metal into Wolverine to toss him. Full circle?
It's like Wolverine just can't catch a break when fighting Magento...
Wow, that is very full circle!
The Rogue Cut was ALWAYS the definitive version of Days of Future Past.
Hey Jax I really liked your reaction to this movie, if no one has said this, the body Charles transferred his Is conscious into in X-Men 3 was his twin brother who was essentially brain dead.
Really like this format with the movie in full screen and unblurred. 👍
Now u realised hiw cool that cameo is of Xmen quicksilver in Wandavision..there are many thst why u should watch all the MARVEL projects before MCU..so that u wont miss any reference next time like QUICKSILVER from Xmen in Wandavision
Seeing Quicksilver in this movie was so fun!!
@@reactswithjax Quicksilver was awesome 😎. Dude is a really fast mutant but nowhere near Flash's speed in DC Comics
What I loved about this movie is the moment when the Professor is talking to his younger self. That is a "what if" moment that all of us asked ourselves. "What if you can talk to your younger self, what would you say and why?"
44:48 the change in your face as you saw Stryker😂
" Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut " is better. More information in that one and we get to see Rogue helping Logan. She gets found and takes over for Kitty after Kitty is cut by Logan. Trask gets arrested and is put in the Pentagon prison.
Magneto's power is not magnetic. He controls metals through some handwavium method. If he truly just affected magnetic fields, then he would only be able to control iron, steel, steel alloys, and other ferrous alloys. He would not be able to affect bullets (lead, antimony, & sometimes copper), aluminum, brass, bronze, tin, uranium, bismuth, sintered ceramics, etc. nor semi-metallic elements like silicon.
That's not true only if ferrous metals are heated they aren't magnetic
@@justingary5322 what's not true? that bullets are non-ferrous? go back to re-take junior high science class.
Yep. Something I've been saying for years. He controls metal, regardless of whether it's magnetic or not. I can only assume that way back in the day, Stan Lee or Chris Claremont or whoever, didn't really know that much about magnetism, and didn't realize that not all metals are affected by magnetic fields.
You're thinking only of Ferromagnetism not Diamagnetism and Paramagnetism.
Non ferrous metals and non metals can be temporarily magnetic under strong magnetic fields. Electricity and magnetism are connected, anything with an electric current can have a magnetic field and vice versa. Each electron on an atom acts like a magnet. Even Hydrogen atoms in water can act like magnets in MRI machines and Tokamak Fusion reactors.
@@michaelpytel3280 I'm also (almost) certain atom colliders use magnetism to guide atomic particles through their circular structure at near-light speeds.
On the other end, ferrous metals can also be made unreactive to magnetism, typically by heating.
You’ll see Quick Silver again in X-men apocalypse I think it’s called. I forgot
5:40 That would be the House of X comics specifically IIRC...or you could go to Marvel vs. Capcom and/or the original X-Men run that introduced Onslaught, an amalgamation of Xavier and Magneto...MvC from 1998 famously featured a stage referencing a signature cover from the Days of Future Past comic timeline with most of the portraits of the heros crossed out as either missing or dead...
While this film is great, it's not perfect. One big flaw is that sending people back in time is not in her power base. She phases through solid matter. Nothing to do with time manipulation. All of a sudden she has a new power. HUH?! In the original comic Kitty has just joined the X-MEN like I believe a few weeks before these events. In the future they send Kitty to the past not Woverine and what convinces them that it is Kitty from the future (because it was her mind not her body that was sent to her younger self) was her reaction to Nightcrawler. Present day Kitty was always uncomfortable around Kurt(Nightcrawler) because of his Demonic appearance. She's a sweet Jewish girl after all. When older Kitty saw him she hugged him and was so glad to see him because he had died in the battle in the future. And still doesn't explain her new power. The alternate "Rogue cut" of this film has a better scenario for the time travel. In that version Rogue absorbs someone's ability for time manipulation and combines it with telepathy to send Logans mind to his past self. Much better than Kitty pulling a new power out of her tail.
In the end credits the four individuals on the horses are the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse
I've always wondered how does Logan get his adamantium back in the future. With this installment, Wolverine: Origins never happens.
Best explanation would be magneto since he is the only one other than striker that can manipulate the metal.
Mystique first appearing to Xavier as a child shows how much she can't really be trusted because she is much older then that. Mystique does not have healing abilities like Logan but her powers do allow her to keep her cells young prolonging her life, she is as old as Logan maybe even older. There are comics about Logan and Mystique knowing each other back in the west and have even been lovers at times before having his memories wiped, but Mystique constantly double crossing him gives Logan a natural distrust of her even if he doesn't remember her.
Quicksilver is far and away the greatest character in these newer X-Men movies imo.
His scenes are 💋Chef's Kiss.
He is amazing!
I love that this movie reset the timeline, seeing everyone ok including Jean and Scott is amazing
Hi Jax! I was really excited to see the alert come over my phone that you’ve reacted to this movie! This is one of may favorites in the X-Men Universe, and I’m always up for a good time travel movie.
I love the blending of the present day characters with the first class characters in this movie. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are incredible actors…combine them with the likes of Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, and the results were bound to be amazing. And I didn’t think Kevin Bacon could pull off being such a baddie, but man was he EVIL!
I’ve really enjoyed following your journey through this series of movies, and just like with the MCU, you’re comments and observations have been insightful and intelligent. I’m excited to see how you interpret this movie as I watch along with you tonight. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed, as I truly believe you are one of the best reactors that I’ve had the pleasure to watch.
“Professor Xavier should take away certain people’s free will” hearing that and then calling it an ethical conundrum is insane😂😂
42:35 Even knowing that there are so many plot holes in the franchise, you CAN still piece it together as such:
3600 BC - X-Men: Days of Future Past (Post credit scene)
1845 - 1944 - X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Until World War II footage in opening credits montage)
1944 - X-Men First Class (Erik in prison camp, Charles meets Raven)
1945 (Plot hole) - The Wolverine (Intro - saves Ichirō Yashida at Nagasaki)
1962 - X-Men: First Class (Main body of the film)
1971ish-1981 - X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Rest of the film)
1986 - (Plot hole) - X3: The Last Stand (Charles and Erik visit young Jean Grey)
1996 - X3: The Last Stand (Young Angel is caught by father trying to cut his wings)
2000 - X-Men
2003 - X2: United
2006 - X3: The Last Stand (Rest of film)
2013 - The Wolverine (Rest of the film)
2014 - The Wolverine (Post credit scene)
2023 - X-Men: Days of Future Past (All the future stuff)
I did not include "X-Men: Days of Future Past" for 1973, because THAT 1973 is a result of 2023's Logan's interaction. I also did not include anything AFTER 2023 since you haven'y watched any further than THIS movie so far.

17:33 the irony is that the reactor herself sounds like a robot even at the most intense moments haha
Maybe I am a robot.
ahh yes the 4th installment of "God damn it! Don't fuck it up, Erik!"
i feel like I'm studying an ARG with all the flashing images in-between scenes instead of enjoying a reaction to one of my favorite movies of all time 😂
Magneto can flip the earths axis, that’s how powerful he is.
That was such a cute picture of Hugh and that little penguin!
I can watch penguins and meerkats ALL day!
HOLY FRICK I just binged all your X-Men videos in a single day. I just found you and while I really like reaction content, your commentary is truly wholesome, poignant and truly entertaining and charming. I love it and you and I can't wait to watch the rest of the X-Men series. I will have to check out your MCU journey after this!
Wow! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've been enjoying watching these movies with me. The X-Men films are awesome. I ADORE the Infinity Saga. It was such an immersive experience.❤️
Fun Theory:

Erik...the Sociopath.
In the Avengers-verse...
Tony and Steve:
Team Narc vs Team Emp
Fun fact in the comics the sentinels exterminated non mutant heroes and villains too such as iron man, hulk, spider man, and doctor doom
Magneto's powers as his younger version are still very much developing. As a class 5 mutant his powers are only limited to what he can feel or see. Hence why not just all materials that come near him are made of non-metals but also a cage or box is needed. Why will be obvious enough as his older self. But X-Men: Apocalypse shows it much better.
I'll give you a hint - there were four horsemen at the end...
I can't believe X-Men Days Of Future Past came out about 10 years ago
You skipped a GREAT scene: Approaching the White House, Wolverine walks through a metal detector ... and is surprised it DIDN'T go off.
That was a great scene!
1:13 yes there is continuity... the mid credit scene u were talking about is about this movie ...they just took it a diff direction ..as far as time .. magneto was talking about the sentinel threat in the credit scene .
When I first started watching this movie I was 12 back in 2014. I watched it in the cinema when I watched the in the cinema. The movie was so good it was so well done because wring has to go back. Go to the past to to see Charles Xavier because his . future self in there
The sound effects makes the reaction 10 times more hilarious love your reactions Jax 😂
I'm so glad you enjoyed the sound effects!!!
Excellent reaction!! This is the one i was waiting for, a fantastic movie! You're so funny!
I gotta ask, if you don't mind, (and Im fully aware im getting to see this for free so I dont have much of a voice when it comes to this) but did you do the editing for this one? I always comment about how much i love your editing, but this one It's so much more different than your previous videos. Your editing has, to use nerd parlance, very unique signature to it that makes it like, personal to you. You're also always so mindful of the emotion of the scene so that the particular editing technique matches it. This video's editing is just so different than the previous ones. Are you testing out new techniques?
Thank you for saying my editing has a unique signature! That's such a compliment! I have worked with editors before, but it's always as a collaboration so I'm very involved. This time, I worked with someone new and was very hands off. I really appreciate the feedback! ❤
Lol, I have a ‘time travel code word’ too🤣
Why do all villains say they want peace? Because they view anything that could shake the status quo which sees them on top as a "threat to peace." This is why you so often hear the most powerful people on the planet talking about the "threat to society" represented by people with the least power.
Sometimes the people with the "least" power make a first nuke in the world.
@@PROVOCATEURSK Yeah? When?
Yep. Happened several times in the real world. The Soviets talked about "peace" all the time.
"Peace" is just a code word for authoritarian rule. The world is so "peaceful" because anyone who dissents is removed.
@@WiseWolfofDeck6that's a very pessimistic view to have on people who've been treated as garbage by society and are filled with revenge and pain.
Where's the sympathy my guy?
This is the 2nd best movie in the X-Men franchise.
20:50 taxes
22:37 the best scene in the movie
This version of Quicksilver is WAY better than the MCU Quicksilver.
yeah until Apocalypse where they tried to outdo themselves and the show stealing scene he had in this film and they end up just making him silly (and ignoring the physics they established in this film where he had to carefully hold his dad's head still to not injure him; if he was casually tossing people out of the way of an explosion, accelerating them faster than the explosion was moving, he would have killed every one of them.)
My favourite part of all x men's🙂
If you want to see another Hugh Jackman movie you should watch The Greatest Showman if you haven't already! It's really good!
It's my first time on your channel and we all had a great time. 😁
I really enjoyed your reaction gonna see more in future, keep doing well. 😉
Cyclops and Jean are still alive because they changed the past, so XMen 1-3 never actually happened now.
@32:51 - "Uh-oh, Spaghetti-O's..." Love it!! lol
I have that jingle in my head now. I had hoped I had left it in the 70’s where it belongs.
Kinda craving Spaghetti-O's now 🤔
For Quicksilver to hear the music while he’s running it’s playing on fast forward so relative to him it’s normal speed
Friday = Jax now I'm happy ❤❤❤
27:32 “The hell is that!?” 😂
this is the rogue cut I hope?
It's not :(
Cant wait you to watch Logan
23:25 if you liked that scene, the one in the next movie will leave you speechless
Funny that Peter Dinklage did that "robotic" voice when Mistique was imitating him, cause he did a literal robot voice in Destiny the video game the same year as this movie.
We called him Dinklebot lmao
Love you Jax. Love your videos. Love your energy. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much! ❤
I'm sure that Hank has been keeping himself busy maintaining all the equipment on the estate. I mean what else has he had to do for the past 10 years? As for the drug that suppresses his abilities while fixing his back is a very "suspend your disbelief" thing.
At least you finally know why the Fox version of Quiksilver showing up many years later in WandaVision was such a big deal after the Fox acquisition. If you like this cast merging just wait until you start watching the Star Trek movies. You dont even need to watch the shows like most reactors do the movies are enough on their own. I'm also hoping you watch Hawkeye soon if you haven't already but that one may never leave Patreon if you do.
Seeing Quicksilver was so fun!! I haven't gotten to Hawkeye yet but I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Many thanks for your reactions, as always! Love that changed ending with Wolverine waking up in the X-mansion in the new timeline. Many comic book fans (myself included) felt that there wasn't enough focus on Scott/Jean/Logan dynamic in the films. In the comics; they are to the X-men what Cap/Ironman/Thor are to the Avengers- the essential trinity of the team. Basically this movie somewhat rewrote/undid the events of X-men 3, which I'm ok with! If I could change anything- I would want another film with greater focus on those characters!
Looking forward to your reaction to Deadpool! It's the first proper R-rated film in the X-men cinematic universe!
Funny you thought of the Charles as 'overlord', controlling and eliminating some of the problematic humans... Another great storyline form the comic books...
Great reaction like always love this movie its one of my favourite x-men movies. But i have suggestion next time dont put music in the background. its kinda annoying and ruin the vibe of the movie.
