- Coming back home from northern Alberta with a new personal best northern! It was a grind. 12 hours of casting left my wrists sore and my back aching but it did pay off!

I guess he told his mom you were looking for her…. Nice one! Congratulations 🥳
Yes, thanks
That's why you grind out there all day for the opportunity to catch a beast like that...way to go man!
Just have to keep on fishing no matter how tough the bite gets!
WHAT A HOG BROTHER!! Congratulations on the new personal best! Can’t wait for you to break it again!
You and me both!
Holy hell. I commented before I saw you catch that monster. That was a beautiful pike. The colours on the fins just popped. Awesome fish. That was like one of those crazy Manitoba fish.
Thank you buddy!
New personal best for you and for the truck!! What a trip!
You got that right!
I'd like to get down to Lacombe and go fish the Len Thompson pond ( stock trout) and also see the world's biggest 5 of Diamonds. Also I recently discovered there's a 5 of Diamonds beer. Nice Pike by the way.
Congrats on the new PB!!
Awesome, Zach! Looks like you caught the queen of the weedbed! Unreal.
Thank you buddy!
Awesome video buddy!
So jealous man. Live near Edmonton. Been going up to a few lakes near Lac La Biche. Haven’t gotten my trophy pike yet! Been close in the 30s but no 40 yet. Congrats!
You can do it! :)
you were very excited about that fish, even got the shakes
Right on brother! What a beauty
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice catch Zach, nothing beats a chev
Great video man!
Appreciate it!
Great video gotta love pike fishing
Always a good time!
Good work bud!! New sub here! From alberta!! Nice pikey
Welcome man! Thanks for watching!
Sickness 💪🏾💪🏾
My record pike was 43 inches was in the NWT I was only 7 years old I couldn't land it by myself
An awesome fish!!
My dad's friends were jealous used a yellow red and green spoon in the Machezie River it was in the old ferry crossings no boat caught a large walleye aswell in same spot. If you want to catch a 25 pound plus go to the chinchaga river were it meets the Hay River hard to get to you will have to charter a helicopter from High Level Alberta or have quads to get in that is where you will find your trophy pike cousin caught one it was so big it made mine look small
What kind of reel and lb test were you running if you dont mind?
Running a shimano curado 200 series and I believe I’m running 25lb test!
@@ZachTheFisherman very interesting I always thought 30-40 lb was the minimum usually for pikes thanks again tight lines
I’m from alberta, just curious what lake you’re at?
I keep that secret because Alberta doesn’t have too many gems like this! I like to keep the lakes I fish on a if you know basis
Great answer bud.thats what I would have said.
Wadlin lake ?
No sir!
Where you at by?
Northern Alberta!
Wadlin Lake?
What lake is this ? 😮
Those are some nice pike !!
Top secret! Sorry man!
@@ZachTheFisherman hahaha fair enough
Tell me, please, do I need a license in Alberta for a boat and a motor?
Yes, it’s the same licence you need to drive a boat in the ocean.
@@ZachTheFisherman even if it’s a inflatable boat(9ft) with electric trolling motor?
@truckdriverlv4746 yes, as long as it has a motor.
@@ZachTheFishermanok thanks buddy
Rod specs?
St. Croix Triumph, Heavy 7Ft
Shimano Curado 200, spooled with 30lb Suffix
I love this rod combo I’d recommend it to anyone with the budget. It’s caught pike, lakers and I’ve even set out some cut bait on the bottom of a river for big channel cats. It can handle it
The small ones fight worse then the big ones
That 39 had zero fight.
