Hi Danielle! It's Kurt (the baritone from Voctave). I love seeing someone experience Voctave for the first time. Especially a song that means so much during times like these. You were so fun to watch!!! I look forward to watching more of your reactions to our music ! THANKS!
Hey Danielle, I know it's obviously not Christmas, but if you liked the high tenor's voice you should react to O Come All Ye Faithful from Voctave! It's beyond beautiful!
Someone is about to have fun! My $.02- Ladies first- Princess medley Then the guys- Heroes and Villains Multi-lead- Prince of Egypt And yes, the cherry on top- O Come All Ye Faithful
Voctave is a stunning group. O come all ye faithful will showcase the Tenor you are asking about. He also does a colander with voiceplay. The hi saprano is Kate Lott. She sings clearly and powerfully up around E6.
You definitely have to watch and react to Voctave's "Disney Princess Medley" "Poor Unfortunate souls/I put a spell on you" "great movie medley" "o come all ye faithful" "Mary did you know" etc etc!! They have a hughe channel and catalogue which you should go through especially if you make holiday episodes!!
Yes, Disney Princess Medley is epic. The leads are great but I've also never heard such beautiful harmony, not even from Home Free or Pentatonix (in my opinion, of course).
Voctave Parts: Soprano 1 - Kate Lott, short blonde Soprano 2 - Tiffany Coburn, tall blonde Sop 3/Alto 1 - Ashley Espinoza, brown hair Alto 2 - Sarah Whittemore, red head Alto 3 - Chrystal Johnson, black hair Tenor 1 - EJ Cardona, highest of trio on right Tenor 2 - Drew Ochoa, second tenor soloist Tenor 3 - Jamey Ray, first soloist and arranger for all of voctave's songs Bari 1 - Kurt von Schmittou, frosted tips guy Bass 1 - Aaron Stratton, white guy with black hair Bass 2 - Karl Hudson, African American man Of special note are Kate and EJ - Kate is a true coloratura, going up to g6 in their recordings, and EJ is a tenorino, going up to e5 in chest in some pieces. The whole group is fantastic and met through working for Disney's voices of liberty at some point or another.
Being a long time Voctave fan, I truly enjoy people’s reactions when they hear them for the first time. Theres always a chills inducing moment around the corner, on the Voctave journey.
Great review! The Disney Princess medley brings literal tears every time I hear it. My other fave is their collab with Rachel Potter on Poor Unfortunate Souls.
Watching someone discover Voctave for the first time always makes me smile, even more so when I know that person truly understands music composition and vocal technique….because the absolute shock and dumbfounded looks from the incredible quality and talent of the group never gets old. I really enjoyed this reaction. I was fortunate enough to see them in person in January 2020, and they’re 100 times more impressive live. Kate’s incredible range is unmatched. Jamey has an incredible gift for vocal arrangement. EJ has one of the most pure voices I’ve ever heard. Hope to see more Vocatave reactions from you soon.
Hi Danielle, you got a new sub. Welcome to the Voctave fan club!! It is so gratifying to see you get so excited and emotional about a performance that I find so incredibly moving. Also check out EJ Cardona singing as a guest with Voice Play "Go the Distance"
The first singer is named Jamey Ray, and he also writes the arrangements and harmonies of all the songs that Voctave performes. If an acapella ground wishes to lift their quality to the highest places, they need a very, very good arranger, one who understands the quality and workings of the group. Jamey Ray is worldclass. No less than that! I work in arrangements and harmonies for musicscores in computergames, and every time Voctave releases a new song, I spend maybe 60-70 hours going through each second of the performance, to try and learn 10% of what Jamey Ray does. He is worldclass... The first time you see a the women, the top center singer is Kate Lott, and she is the highest soprano. Remember her name and sound, as she is often the "sprinkle of topclass worldclass" on top of harmonies throughout their songs. And she really comes through in "Disney Princess Medley", "Disney Love Medley - Feat. Kirstin and Jeremy". The male tenor who is also out of this world is E.J. Cardona, and he really shines in "O Come, All Ye Faithful". But they are all really good, and you must get through all their songs eventually, so just pick them randomly, and continue to be amazing ;-)
There is not much I can add to tell you about Voctave that hasn’t already been said by others. I’ve been a fan of theirs since almost the beginning. I’ve always loved a cappella and since my first visit to WaltDisneyWorld’s EPCOT, Easter week of 1983, I’ve loved the music if Voices of Liberty. They are the pre-show under the rotunda of the American pavilion, and sing patriotic Americana & folk songs, while dressing in colonial period costumes. Its always a must see show for me, even as an annual pass holder. Voctave grew out of Voices of Liberty as a separate group, while most of them still are full time employees of Disney. Yes, this isn’t their full time job, its just a part time gig on the side! Imagine if these people went full time! They are all professional musicians of the highest caliber, many with musical degrees. There is no a cappella group out there that does it any better. The backgrounds are so melodious that often you forget you’re not listening to an orchestra. The Great Movie Medley (an homage to John Williams) highlights their orchestral sound as its mostly sound vocalizations with few words. The best point of this particular song though was the part where they were singing “You are not alone” and it opened up to show over 100 of their fans singing with them, just to emphasize the point that we are all in this together. Its a wonderful message of hope and healing, especially this past year. I’m glad you’ve found Voctave, and like so many other vocal coaches & other professional musicians who react to them, you will never cease to be blown away by every song they do. I can’t recommend a single one because they are all great! You could almost do two vids for each song, 1) a first time reaction 2) a dissection of what they are doing. They are just that incredible! Have fun and enjoy more Voctave!
Jamie Ray, the first singer, is the founder of Voctave and arranges for symphonies and Broadway as well as Voctave. He is a master of intricate harmonies. I watched an interview they gave and each Voctave member gets the music in advance and then they get together to run through the music and record. That was pre-pandemic. That first soprano is the marvelous Kate Lott. I got to hear her sing at WDW last month. She is as kind and nice as she is talented. Thank you for a lovely reaction...and welcome to the Wonderful World of Voctave!
I think several people have suggested that Go The Distance cover. I heartily agree, it showcases EJ and is a fantastic introduction to the beauty and talent of VoicePlay as well. Voiceplay and Voctave are my two favorite groups so... 😁
The Tenor on the left is EJ Cardona, he is amazing, listen to Voctave's O Come all ye faithful. Kate Lott is the high soprano, and she is also amazing. Listen to anything to hear her. The whole group is so talented.
“Who’s that high soprano?” Anyone who knows Voctave- “oh, that’s just Kate, killing the game” As for the tenor, that’s EJ. He’s a gift. Check out his cover with Voiceplay doing “I will go the distance” from Disney’s Hercules
I want to second this recommendation! EJ Cardona is incredible. And if you haven't heard VoicePlay, an excellent way to start would be with the song mentioned, Go The Distance, with EJ as the guest singer (ever since their one high tenor left, VoicePlay has been featuring many amazing guest vocalists). I feel like these two acapella groups, while very different, have in common a lightness of heart, an openness and sincerity of spirit that's so uplifting as they share their incredible talents. Voctave is amazing, VoicePlay is amazing, EJ is amazing. I can't get enough of any of them and I listen to them all the time!
If you love that tenor please watch and react to Voctave O come all ye faithful. He has a huge solo with surprise ending. Looking forward to your reaction!
I’m so surprise not many people have recommended Someday from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, from their latest album. I tear up every single time. Also saw someone recommending Someone Like You feat. Jody McBrayer. That one blew my socks off the first time I heard it. Since I know you love tenor voices, I think you’re gonna absolutely love Jody’s.
Hi Danielle. I was pretty sure you would like Voctave. I would think It would be difficult to be as experienced as you in music and not like them. The are pretty incredible. The high Soprano is Kate and she is just amazing. Whoa . I would suggest "Disney Princess Medley" as the next song by them It is really incredible. Get ready. . That one will get you. This group is from the Orlando area and does performances at Disney World. The arranger is the gentleman in the middle of the 3 males. HIs name is Jamie Ray and he teaches at Rollins college somewhere in the Orlando area. He does a lot of arrangements for Broadway musical shows and you will notice he really knows what he is doing . Just amazing.
My absolute favorite song of theirs is their disney princess medley. You hear a lot of that high soprano and all the rest of their astonishing voices. Its one that you must listen to
Hello, LOVED your reaction! Couple fun facts about the choir. The video has about 100 of us (I think), the recording on the album has about 1000 of us. Thankfully we didnt have to audition, there was an open call put out on Voctave's social media (which you should definitely follow) Also, you have likely already been told this... EJ Cardona is the tenor 1, and Kate Lott is the Soprano 1. Definitely subscribing!!
Welcome to Voctave! You ain't heard nuthin' yet. The first singer was Jamie Ray, the genius arranger for the group. The tenor you raved about is E.J. Cardona. If you want a real indicator of his talent, check out Voctave's arrangement of "O Come All Ye Faithful". As for the ladies, give a listen to Voctave's "Disney Princess Medley" which features each one of them. And please, PLEASE react to Voctave's version of "Mary, Did You Know" in which they feature Mark Lowry, the song's lyricist. You really can't go wrong with any of their offerings. Voctave is like a vocal orchestra. Jamie Ray incorporates 7, 8, 9-part harmonies in covering the treble and bass clefs. I look forward to many more of your reactions.
That tenor is EJ Cardona, he collaborated with VoicePlay in their cover of Go The Distance from Hercules. Also you have to react to their Disney Love Medley and Disney Princess Medley
YOU.... are refreshing!! Jamie Ray who was the soloist at the beginning of the song, is a GENIUS arranger and has arranged for most of the top acapella groups you have listened to.Voctave themselves DO NOT use auto-tune! Anyone that has seen them live is absolutely blown away how they sound just like their studio videos and recordings! Kirtsin from Pentatonix and her then boyfriend Jeremy Michael Lewis ,sing the Disney Love Medley with them in a studio session and throughout the video keep shaking their heads in awe how incredible Voctave sounds around them.Tiffany Coburn, the shorter hair blonde is up for a DOVE award for her gospel album. You will truly get lost in the incredible world of Voctave. Ohhh.. and they had over 900 people from all over the world in the virtual choir!
#subscriptionsquad Hey Danielle. Thank you for adding Voctave to your channel. They are current or former members of Voices of Liberty who perform at EPCOT. Some other good videos of theirs to react to are Disney Love Medley with Kirsten Maldonado, Mary Did You Know for Christmas time. The tenor you asked about....his name is EJ Cardona. You will want to check out his partnering with Voiceplay singing "Go The Distance" from Hercules. Prepare for sensory overload!!
Hello, I like your reaction and I love Voctave. Voctave is a eleven singers group. The main singer is Jamey Ray, he makes all the beautiful arrangements. The high tenor is E. J. Cardona. He is the soloist in "O Come, All Ye Faithful" I suggest you to listen to this video About the top soprano (Kate Lott), "incredibly high note..." you said ? :-) (I won't say more...)
My Sweet Danielle... I’m your newest subscriber and a 70-year-old, Lifelong fan of Acapella! Voctave formed in the winter of 2015 by producer and arranger Jamey Ray - the lead singer in this is Jamey Ray who arranges most everything Voctave performs. The Soprano is Kate Lott. Trust me when I tell you. There are currently a “Big 4” in the Acapella World. There is Pentatonix - Winners of Season 3 of the NBC-TV Acapella Group Competition show - The Sing-Off. Then here is Home Free -Winners of Season 4, and VoicePlay from Season 4, who might have been heavy competitors against Home Free, if IMHO they’d had Rachel Potter as their female singer instead of who they had. These 3 are all quintets (5). And then there is IMHO THE Greatest Acapella Group on the Planet - the 11-member group - Voctave. I believe their 1st recording was their Disney Love Medley, featuring Kirstin Maldonado from Pentatonix and her then fiancée, Jeremy Michel Lewis - from Season 4 AcoUstiKats. It is understood that during rehearsal Jeremy came up with the name Voctave. “V” for the Roman Numeral “5” + Octave for the groups 5-Octave range = Voctave. So, 1st how about reacting to Disney Love Medley: ua-cam.com/video/zLMeDUBKmBs/v-deo.html Watch Jeremy as they get into this, He can’t stop smiling and shaking his heads in amazement at Voctave’s Wall of Sound and Kate Lott’s Soprano notes. After you react to this I’ll suggest many more, including songs featuring E.J. Cardona, the tenor you asked about. He was a contestant in the premier season of The X Factor (FOX), and the first winner of Orlando Idol (FOX).
The top soprano is Kate Lott. This song doesn't show what she can do, you need to listen to the Disney Princess Medely. The tenor is E J Cardona and he shines in their version of O Come All Ye Faithful.
I just watch every new voctave reaction videos, always bring me joy. Most incredible ones you could react to: Disney princess medley Disney love medley Disney showstoppers medley O come all ye faithful Someone like you And so on :D
The soprano 1 you keep hearing is Kate Lott. She is one of the best coloratura sopranos I have ever heard. Regular tosses F6 on top and does it effortlessly. Watching the Disney Love Medley you can see both Kirstin (of PTX) and Jeremy almost giggling at how great Voctave sound around them.
Always love watching people discover Voctave for the first time. Your reaction was perfect! Honestly you cannot go wrong with any of their songs, and I've already seen many good suggestions in the comments. Also, if you want to hear more of EJ Cardona elsewhere, he did "Go the Distance" with Voiceplay as a guest artist. Looking forward to more Voctave. Enjoy the journey!
So glad you found Voctave! I loved this reaction! The first time I heard this version, it brought me to tears. You should listen to Voctave's version of 'The Prince of Egypt' off their new album. Amazing!
Wonderful Reaction! Voctave is amazing. I hope you will react to more of their video's. They are all awesome. I love Mary Did You Know, The Princess Medley, Disney Love Medley, Disney Show Stoppers and all of their Christmas songs. Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame is so fun They have such a fun time singing together. I think someone below mentioned Someone Like You. That's a really good one too. For an even better treat, try to see them live. They are even better in person.
I’m a new subscriber. Welcome to the Voctave rabbit hole. You’re about to enter a wonderland of incredible harmonies. I highly recommend “Someone Like You” featuring Jody McBrayer, but you won’t be disappointed by any of Voctave’s offerings. Have a lovely day. God Bless
Welcome to the amazing world of Voctave! You will never be disappointed with one of their songs or videos! I highly suggest their Disney Princess Medley (where you will hear Kate Lott the soprano sing like an angel) and Crystal (one of the altos) have such a richness. Also Mary Did you know ft Mark Lowry who wrote the lyrics of the song, the Disney Love Medley will have you against the wall with the harmonies. The Showstoppers Medley and You're a Mean one Mr. Grinch showcase the Tenors and bases and Someone Like Me ft Jody McBrayer and O Come All Ye Faithful will just have you bawling at the beautiful lyrics and harmonies!
Hey Danielle! Absolutely wonderful reaction as usual! The male top tenor you were talking about is the amazing EJ Cardona (who has done collabs with Voiceplay - so has his brother Omar Cardona), and the high soprano is the uber talented Kate Lott. Voctave is a group formed by a total of 11 people, I can assure you that you'll really enjoy their work, specially their medleys. Keep up the great work, I'm loving them reactions! ❤️❤️
Oh sweet lady, you have heard nothing yet!! Each of these members are individual stars...they are incredible and can sing anything....must watch "Disney Princess Medley".
This isn't even in my top 10 favorite Voctave pieces. This was a choral blend piece - no one really showed off their solo chops here. And all of them have some fantastic solo chops. For an introduction to the ladies in the group, the go-to piece is their Disney Princess Medley. Each of the ladies take a solo and you will be blown away by what you hear - not only in the solos but in the whole arrangement. If you want to ease in to them a bit, give their Disney Love Medley a listen. They brought in a couple of guests - Kirsten from Pentatonix and her then-beau, Jeremy Lewis. And if you do that one, you MUST add in a bonus reaction to a rehearsal clip from the recording day. It gives you an insight into what it's like to sing with Voctave. Here's the clip: ua-cam.com/video/rjZpz0EvnV8/v-deo.html
When they did "Someday" during the pandemic, I completely bawled. Fyi, the high soprano is Kate Lott and the high tenor on the right of the guys at the end is EJ (watch O Come All Ye Faithful for more of him!). I couldn't pick a favorite singer in the group though, they are all so phenomenal ❤️❤️❤️ I got to hear some of them live at Epcot in Orlando! It was an absolute treat.
There are eleven members normally. I've seen others sub in. Let me say , I don't usually enjoy soprano voices; however, Kate (the strawberry blond) is beyond compare. She will blow your mind with the notes she can hit comfortably.
you should definitely react to them singing 'O, Come All Ye Faithful' as well as there 'Disney Princess Medley'😁 if you want to hear more of there amazing first soprano then choose 'Disney Princess Medley' if you want to hear more of E. J. then choose 'O, Come All Ye Faithful', it's an amazing version of that song.
Would love to see you react the Voctave singing Mary Did You Know, Let There be peace on earth, Oh come ye Manuel. You will be blown away by all of them!!!
The woman singing first soprano is Kate Lott she's the best in the business if you want to hear her solo I suggest watching Disney princess medley you won't be disappointed
Octave is an amazing group. You need to watch O come all ye faithful and Mary did you know featuring Mark Lowry. E.J. Cardona sings the main in O Come All Ye Faithful. He is the tenor you mentioned in You will be Found. Kate Lott is the high soprano.
Octave moves me like nobody else. Goosebumps! I’m completely blown away each time I listen to them. I never expected to be moved by voices like theirs. I never knew I could be moved to tears like this. So glad to find others who enjoy their magnificent voices. Thanks for sharing. I’m looking at their show schedule right now! I’ve got to see them in person! Jeanne ORourke
Danielle, the high soprano's name is Kate Lott, and she is incredible. This song doesn't begin to show her talent. You must review the Disney Princess Medley if you want to see her talent showcased. I'm not even sure anyone knows how high that woman can go, but it is just unbelievable.
The first male soloist is Jamie Ray--he's usually the one who arranges the music. He's a genius! I absolutely love Voctave. They generally have 12 members. They are usually associated with Disney (work at Disney World in Florida). You should react to their "Disney Princess Medley" (features the ladies of Voctave and it's spectacular), "The Great Movie Medley" (tribute to John Williams), The Disney Villain Medley" (features the men of Voctave). Another favorite of mine is their cover of "Someone Like You" (from "Jekyll and Hyde"), a collaboration with Jodie McBrayer.
The High Soprano is Kate Lott and they High Tenor is EJ Cardona. Tge Soloists is the founder of Voctave and the man who does all the arrangement is Jamey Ray.
Voctave always brings out so many emotions. It was a joy to watch you react and experience that same outpouring of amazement and appreciation at their talent.
You NEEEEEEEED to watch their version of O Come All Ye Faithful!! It will ABSOLUTELY blow your mind, featuring the gorgeous tenor voice that you love so much. YOU WILL DIE!! I love your reaction to this song. I feel SO much of the same things that you mentioned. This is my all-time favourite version of this song (that I've heard so far), and this is by far one of my favourite songs. I cry EVERY time I listen to Voctave's version.
Looking through your vids I don't see any Pentatonix reactions... unusual if you're a fan of a capella. So for one of your next Voctave reactions, try their Disney Love Medley featuring Kirstie Maldonado of Pentatonix. Not only is it a great Voctave arrangement, it will also send you over to the Pentatonix rabbit hole as well.
Loved your reaction! Please react to more Voctave. Also, please check out other acapella groups like Voiceplay, Citizen Queen, Pentatonix, Home Free and Acapop Kids.
Loved your analysis and reaction!! Amazing work as always!! Can’t wait for your next reaction!!! Any tips for expanding range as a baritone that’s really shy😂
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Voctave! "Someday" is another very fitting song for the times. You can't go wrong with any song of theirs, so I'm hoping you hit them ALL!!! Broadway and Disney is their specialty, they have 2 of those albums. They have one jazz album, and they have 2 holiday albums out as well. #subscriptionsquad S1 - Kate Lott S2 - Tiffany Coburn A1/S2 - Ashley Espinoza A2 - Sarah Whittemore A3 - Christal Johnson T1 - EJ Cardona T2 - Aaron Stratton T3/Bari 1 - Jamey Ray (Founder and arranger aka musical genius) Bari 2 - Kurt Von Schmittou Bass 1 - Aaron Stratton Bass 2 - Karl Hudson
Just, Wow! It's already such a hauntingly beautiful song and this cover captured that so well. Wouldn't really have noticed one of the voices being a bit quieter in the mix until you pointed it out. i also really loved the Brady Bunch style video You should check out My Blood-live from Brooklyn #subscriptionsquad
Yes. Yes. Yes. It was Pandemic times. They released sheet music and asked folks to record their part. It was intense because you had to click track in Audacity to even be considered. I recorded my part from Morocco because EJ (the high tenor who you said "who is that?!?!?" to) was in a show I was in at 5th Ave in Seattle right before I moved abroad. During a time when Morocco was INTENSELY locked down, I was grateful for virtual music making opportunities like this.
Danielle, your reactions are delightful. The comments below are from at least one year ago so they do not include more current Voctave arrangements. On their "Goodnight My Someone" album of 9 songs, they have included their rendition of the Beatles' "Blackbird". It is only 3 minutes long but is certainly worth a listen. Since it is audio only, it is not possible to identify the male soloist who sings last but it is probably E. J. Cardona. The harmonies in the arrangement are stunning. Jim Coburn
GIRL. You are about to enjoy this rabbithole you just dived into. Voctave is ACA-AWESOMELY amazing!! A few things: 2 Sopranos - the two blonde lovely ladies. Tiffany is the taller one with shorter hair, and Kate is the shorter one with longer straighter hair in this video. Kate is the high soprano you hear. And this song doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what she can do. You are in for an absolute treat. Believe me when I say this girl will have you far more shook than this. More so with every video of theirs you watch. 3 Altos - Their lower blend combined with the two sopranos sound like a host of heavenly angels all on their own. 2 Tenors - EJ (the guy whose voice you were crazy about at the end) and Jamie Ray (the first soloist who started off the song). Jamie Ray does all of Voctave's song arrangements. This one as well. These two guys are amazingly talented. 2 Baritone - The taller dark haired guy is married to the taller soprano (Tiffany). 2 Bass And honestly, sometimes they swap out members lol. They originally sang together for Disney World in Orlando. Their Christmas music is a must for you to react to (Mary Did You Know is my personal favorite, as it features the writer of that song, Mark Lowry, singing lead). Their best medleys include Disney Princess Medley (ladies solo), Disney Showstoppers Medley (men solo), Disney Love Medley (special guests solo), and the Great Movie Medley (no solos). Awesome reaction as usual. Looking forward to your next few Voctave meltdowns! :) #subscriptionsquad
@@gegiocavacci2589 you know what? I have no idea where I had read that Tiffany and Kurt were married. I remember it surprised me because Kurt had made my gaydar go off and I could have sworn he was gay, so I remember being so surprised when I "found out" he and Tiffany were husband and wife. Now thanks to you, I'm discovering that was WAY off, and that my first instinct about Kurt was correct! LOL! @Big Ragu sorry about the confusion there. Honest mistake. Apparently they are most definitely NOT married lolol.
Current Members of Voctave Kate Lott - soprano Tiffany Coburn - soprano Ashley Espinoza - alto / soprano Sarah Whittemore - alto Chrystal Johnson - alto E.J. Cardona - tenor Drew Ochua - tenor Jamey Ray - baritone / tenor (also producer and arranger of Voctave) Kurt Von Schmittou - baritone / bass Aaron Stratton - bass Karl Hudson - bass Former Members (present in many videos) Tony De Rosa - tenor (also music director) J.C. The soloist at the beginning is Jayme Ray and he is also the arranger of Voctave and he writes the parts specifically for the voices of the group. He's a real genius. The first soprano is Kate Lott and the high tenor is E.J. Cardona. #subscriptionsquad
I am so impressed with Voctave. Enjoy yourself Jen. The tenor is EJ Cordona who is the brother of Omar Cordona who guests with Voiceplay frequently. The virtual choir is like a wall or delicious music cascading over me
Hi Danielle, Just found your Channel. I don't sing but immediately liked your upbeat personality. Then realized your a sister in Christ and understood completely. Blessings!
Hi Danielle! It's Kurt (the baritone from Voctave). I love seeing someone experience Voctave for the first time. Especially a song that means so much during times like these. You were so fun to watch!!! I look forward to watching more of your reactions to our music ! THANKS!
Great too see ya here Kurt! It's cool to think you enjoy the reactions as much as we do. We need another one from you and Tiff too!
@@smulli36 yes!! We need Episode 2 of reacting to reactors.
KURT YOU GUYS DID AMAZING WTHH
Hi I love you guys
Kurt this version of this song saved my life. Thank you.
Hey Danielle, I know it's obviously not Christmas, but if you liked the high tenor's voice you should react to O Come All Ye Faithful from Voctave! It's beyond beautiful!
Definitely react to this song. The tenor is amazing. But be prepared... you may not be able to think clearly for a few hours after this one...lol
Yes! Definetly react to O Come All Ye Faithful from Voctave!

Do it ! :D
Absolutely yes yes yes!!!
Someone is about to have fun!
My $.02-

Voctave is a stunning group. O come all ye faithful will showcase the Tenor you are asking about. He also does a colander with voiceplay. The hi saprano is Kate Lott. She sings clearly and powerfully up around E6.

They have a hughe channel and catalogue which you should go through especially if you make holiday episodes!!
Yep. UP UP
Yes, Disney Princess Medley is epic. The leads are great but I've also never heard such beautiful harmony, not even from Home Free or Pentatonix (in my opinion, of course).
Voctave Parts:
Soprano 1 - Kate Lott, short blonde
Soprano 2 - Tiffany Coburn, tall blonde
Sop 3/Alto 1 - Ashley Espinoza, brown hair
Alto 2 - Sarah Whittemore, red head
Alto 3 - Chrystal Johnson, black hair
Tenor 1 - EJ Cardona, highest of trio on right
Tenor 2 - Drew Ochoa, second tenor soloist
Tenor 3 - Jamey Ray, first soloist and arranger for all of voctave's songs
Bari 1 - Kurt von Schmittou, frosted tips guy
Bass 1 - Aaron Stratton, white guy with black hair
Bass 2 - Karl Hudson, African American man
Of special note are Kate and EJ - Kate is a true coloratura, going up to g6 in their recordings, and EJ is a tenorino, going up to e5 in chest in some pieces. The whole group is fantastic and met through working for Disney's voices of liberty at some point or another.
Thaaaank you for writing this ♥️🙌🏻 #voctaveFANhere
Guy 1: Tenor/Genius Arranger Jamey Ray
Guy 2: Tenor/Breath Beast E.J. Cardona
Girl 1 : Soprano/Coloratura Kate Lott
I can’t recommend enough that you listen to their Prince of Egypt Medley
Yes this is spectacular!! ❤
Yes! One of my favorites medleys that they have done.
Being a long time Voctave fan, I truly enjoy people’s reactions when they hear them for the first time. Theres always a chills inducing moment around the corner, on the Voctave journey.
I love your reaction so much Coach Danielle ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇿🇨🇿
Jamie Ray is the first singer. He does most of the arrangements for Voctave.
The tenor is EJ Cardona....you need to react to their version of OH Come All Ye Faithful. He sings lead and his voice is amazing.
Hi Danielle, you got a new sub. Welcome to the Voctave fan club!! It is so gratifying to see you get so excited and emotional about a performance that I find so incredibly moving. Also check out EJ Cardona singing as a guest with Voice Play "Go the Distance"
You have to watch their version of "oh come all ye faithfull"
That tenor you loved sing AMAZINGLY
CHILLS!!! From beginning till the end! ❤🙏

I think she would love Go the Distance by Voiceplay featuring EJ Cardona and Voctave's O come all ye faithful
“Who’s that high soprano?”
Anyone who knows Voctave- “oh, that’s just Kate, killing the game”
As for the tenor, that’s EJ. He’s a gift. Check out his cover with Voiceplay doing “I will go the distance” from Disney’s Hercules
Voctave does a version of "O Come All Ye Faithful" featuring E.J. (have tissues available) ......
just sayin'
"O Come all ye faithful" enough said
You have to react 😊
Thankfully we didnt have to audition, there was an open call put out on Voctave's social media (which you should definitely follow)
Also, you have likely already been told this...
Yeass more voctave please.
You need to listen to O Come All Ye Faithful, I know it's not Christmas time but EJ really shines in this performance. #subscriptionsquad #chills
Nice Reaction Danielle, hope your day was a good one...Thanks for everything
@/subscriptionsquad
I'm glad she found Voctave
Im so glad !!! they are amazing!
@@daniellemariesings Btw his name is EJ Cardona.
Hello, I like your reaction and I love Voctave.
Voctave is a eleven singers group. The main singer is Jamey Ray, he makes all the beautiful arrangements.
The high tenor is E. J. Cardona. He is the soloist in "O Come, All Ye Faithful" I suggest you to listen to this video
About the top soprano (Kate Lott), "incredibly high note..." you said ?
If you want more of the guy you liked that much please watch "Oh come all ye faithful"
Voctave are fantastic. Prince of Egypt I think is their best performance even if is only audio
I just watch every new voctave reaction videos, always bring me joy.
Most incredible ones you could react to:
Disney princess medley
Disney love medley
Disney showstoppers medley
O come all ye faithful
Someone like you
And so on :D
The soprano 1 you keep hearing is Kate Lott. She is one of the best coloratura sopranos I have ever heard. Regular tosses F6 on top and does it effortlessly. Watching the Disney Love Medley you can see both Kirstin (of PTX) and Jeremy almost giggling at how great Voctave sound around them.
You can literally see them giggling in this clip from their rehearsal of the piece. ua-cam.com/video/rjZpz0EvnV8/v-deo.html
God Bless
OH yeah! Can't wait to watch you watch more of their stuff! Their Disney Princess Medley is always a good one!
I’d recommend their “Great Movie Medley”
I would love it if you reacted to Voctave’s version of the Impossible Dream! Thank you!
Yep, get ready for mega harmony chills whenever you watch Voctave. LoL's, and yep, we love seeing reactors hear Kate.
And to hear the Soprano 1 singing an incredible solo, please do "O come, O come Emmanuel/The First Noel/I wonder and I wander" ❤🤯🤯👍🤗
ua-cam.com/video/0RojDqKIcVk/v-deo.html
Please react more of voctave's Covers . Next you should react to "Mary did you know" with Mark Lowry. Thank me later
My favorite by Vocative is “Carol of the Bells of Norte Dame”. Thanks for this reaction #subscriptionsquad
When they did "Someday" during the pandemic, I completely bawled. Fyi, the high soprano is Kate Lott and the high tenor on the right of the guys at the end is EJ (watch O Come All Ye Faithful for more of him!). I couldn't pick a favorite singer in the group though, they are all so phenomenal ❤️❤️❤️
I got to hear some of them live at Epcot in Orlando! It was an absolute treat.
There are eleven members normally. I've seen others sub in. Let me say , I don't usually enjoy soprano voices; however, Kate (the strawberry blond) is beyond compare. She will blow your mind with the notes she can hit comfortably.
you should definitely react to them singing 'O, Come All Ye Faithful' as well as there 'Disney Princess Medley'😁
if you want to hear more of there amazing first soprano then choose 'Disney Princess Medley'
if you want to hear more of E. J. then choose 'O, Come All Ye Faithful', it's an amazing version of that song.
Would love to see you react the Voctave singing Mary Did You Know, Let There be peace on earth, Oh come ye Manuel. You will be blown away by all of them!!!
EJ in Let there be peace on earth is Awesome.
PLEASE react to more Voctave❣️❣️❣️ You will love it all ❤️❤️❤️
Octave moves me like nobody else.
Danielle. Great reaction. I knew you would love them. For your next one you should go with the Disney princess Medley. #subscriptionsquad
Yes, I agree!!
Their Disney Love Medley has over 30 million views. See why. It's a master class in a capella performances.
So good! So soothing! So satisfying! ❤️🇵🇭

Danielle, the guy you were pointing to is EJ Cardona, he is amazing!
HE IS WOW!!!
@@daniellemariesings You should watch Voctave sing o come all ye faithful. He has a solo part in it and it is amazing!
The High Soprano is Kate Lott and they High Tenor is EJ Cardona. Tge Soloists is the founder of Voctave and the man who does all the arrangement is Jamey Ray.
Please bring us along with you on this voctave journey!
Their Disney love medley is the besttttttt too
You can't go this month without seeing disney princess medley by voctave. It's ridiculous
Great to see you react to Voctave. Continue down this rabbit hole, which will blow you away.
Yes! Try my vocal warm ups!!
you gotta react to one voice childrens choir singing this! its incredible!
#subscriptionsquad

I am loving your acapella reactions.
You have a Terrific Smile..and with Voctave you'll be smiling uncontrollably every time. Listen to their "Pure Imagination "
That tenor's name is EJ Cardona I belive and he does a feature with Voiceplay! "Go the Distance" from Hercules. WELL WORTH THE LISTEN!!
Moooooooooooooorrrreeeee Voctave
There is no instrument more beautiful than the pure human voice.

Love voctave and I love watching your reactions!

GIRL. You are about to enjoy this rabbithole you just dived into. Voctave is ACA-AWESOMELY amazing!! A few things:
2 Sopranos - the two blonde lovely ladies.
2 Bass
And honestly, sometimes they swap out members lol.
I did not know Kurt and Tiffany were married to each other.
@@bigragu6828 Cause they are not 😅, Tiffany husband is not part of the group
@@gegiocavacci2589 you know what? I have no idea where I had read that Tiffany and Kurt were married.
