Fun fact, if I’m not mistaken, Kate Lott (first singer) is married to one of the men in the Dapper Dans at WaltDisneyWorld, and Sarah (third singer) is also married to one of them. All of these people have in the past or currently sing at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Tony, the one directing all the way to the left, has won numerous awards in Barbershop. He also sang with Dapper Dans at WDW’s Magic Kingdom on Main Street, but the rest were all with Voices of Liberty in the American Pavilion at WDW’s EPCOT Center.
Oh, gosh. Cindy reacted like I do to them. Chills, Awe, Tears… Most of them actually do sing as Voices of Liberty at Disneyworld. They have a lot of amazing Disney stuff. Heroes and Villains will show all of the men since you just saw the ladies. Disney Love Medley features Kirstin from PTX and it’s amazing. But PLEASE also react to Mary Did You Know featuring the writer of the song and O Come all Ye Faithful for Christmas. Bring tissues. ❤ Oh, one other note - EJ Cardona from Voctave has featured with Voiceplay and one was Go The Distance which you would likely enjoy. His brother, Omar Cardona features with Voiceplay quite a bit and he was on The Voice last year. The brothers are so talented!
I love the low alto in this! Her voice is so unusual & beautiful! 💖 OK. Now you MUST watch Voctave's "Where Are You Christmas?" And BOTH OF YOU need to bring the tissues! 💞
I recommended "Where Are You Christmas?" as well and also suggested tissues. It's wonderful and every single time I watch it, I grab the tissues. Here's another Christmas song to react to: "I'll Be Home for Christmas" from Home Free (no, not Voctave). Talk about needing tissues!?!?!?
Their Disney Hero and villian Medley is awesome ! Showing off the men’s voices. And they all work for Disney pretty much in some singing capacity for the voices of Liberty.
I believe the group consists of several performers from the Voices of Liberty, an a cappella group at the American Adventure pavilion at the Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World resort.
Yes, Kate, Ashley, and Tiffany were all members of Voices of Liberty until relatively recently, when each of them left the company to pursue Voctave full-time.
All of these members are former or still sing with Voices of Liberty at EPCOT. Look them up on UA-cam they will blow your mind. That is how this group was formed By Jamie Ray. He was one of many singers and leaders in Voices of Liberty.
Their versions of “Where are you Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “Mary Did You Know” are without equal. Chills and tears all of them. Ashley Espinoza is my favorite singer on the planet. As a lifelong musician and vocalist, believe me, I have heard a lot of singers. Her control and depth of tone are something special. Jamey Ray does all their amazing arrangements. His signature style of having “oohs” and “ahs” from the supporting voices at the beginning and ending of a song with swelling on the climaxes of each song as they all sing the words, is a masterclass on a cappella arranging. They sound this good live as well. If you want something similar to the Disney Princess Medley, their Disney Love Medley is possibly even better. Also, the Disney Fly Medley from Jamey Ray’s personal channel is just as well done.
What a lovely reaction! It's great to see people really feeling the music. I concur with the Heroes & Villains suggestion for a next stop, but they have lots of fun ones, so that's more just for balance...
Awesome reaction to an amazing group of vocal artists. One thing with Voctave, what you hear here is exactly how they sound live. Many other groups lose some luster without all the post production. But Voctave sounds exactly like this, even when they’re singing off the microphones.
oh u are so not ready ! lol- love u guys - thx for being u and loving great music- disney always takes us back right !- love ur reactions - keep on being u ! much music love to u and urs - cant wait to see ur latest videos !
Thanks for reacting to Voctave! Next, please react to their "Disney Heroes and Villains Medley" for solos from all 6 Voctave men. "Prince of Egypt Medley" is a must, along with "Someone Like You". They have tons of Christmas music, so happily go down that rabbit hole. "O Come All Ye Faithful" (EJ solo), "Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame", "Where Are You, Christmas" (Ashley solo), "The Christmas Song" (Drew), "O Holy Night" (Tiffany), "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and "Grown Up Christmas List" (Chrystal), "Twelve Days of Christmas" (Kurt is comedy gold). . .
Love Voctave! So much of their collection to check out, with Christmas coming up and their holiday songs, or even go further down the rabbit hole with their many Disney videos. Showstoppers Medley, Heroes & Villians, Movie Medley, take your pick...many great ones to discover!
I love this arrangement, I just wish we got one more verse from the final soloist. Colors of the Wind is such an amazing song, but here it almost feels like an afterthought.
As has been mentioned, these singers perform at Disney World in Orlando - and, yes, they ARE magical. They do a lot of Disney and ANY of their Disney songs / medleys will blow you away ("Disney Showstoppers ", "Disney Heroes and Villains" are great examples). They also do AMAZING Christmas songs - check out "Where Are You Christmas?" featuring Ashley Espinoza, who sang "Reflections" on this video - but make sure you have some tissues... and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" features tenor EJ Cardona and it is awesome. Welcome to the Voctave rabbit hole - it's a great ride.
Thank you , Thank you, Thankyou. !!!!! Most if not all have performed with Disney's Voices of Liberty. I saw them last year in The Villages, they will be in Orlando end of the month. That's a bit of a drive for me. EJ Cardona is on the left. A Christmas song that you will need a box of tissues is Where are you Christmas . EJ Cardona is on the left and the gentleman in the middle is Jamie Ray he does all the arrangements.
Voctave are my fav!! I’m seeing them live in Feb! Check out all of their Christmas stuff , especially Where are you Christmas and O Come All Ye Faithful; plus The Movie medley, Heroes & Villians, Somewhere, And so much more!!
Cindy…Best. Reaction. Ever!💞 I love the group Voctave. A Christmas song of theirs that I really like is “Mary, Did You Know” and they have the original songwriter, Mark Lowry, singing right along there with them. I’d love to hear you react to that in December, as well as both of Dan Vasc’s Christmas songs. (If you have to pick just one…go with Adeste Fideles.)
Oh, yeah…you might be very interested to know that Pentatonix and Home Free also have covered “Mary Did You Know”. Both are excellent but if you have to choose just one, go with Pentatonix. It’s stunning.
Actually...most of these phenomenal people DO sing at Disney World with Voices of Liberty. Of the top 4 Acapella groups out here, Voctave is the Classical more traditional group. If you get a chance, with Christmas coming up, you might check out "Where are you Christmas" or any of their traditional Christmas songs....
Now that you've reacted to Voctave, I hope you'll react to more of them! In my book, here are four "must" Voctave songs to react to: The Disney Heroes and Villains Medley (featuring the men of Voctave), The Great Movie Medley (a tribute to John Williams), and at Christmas "Where Are You Christmas?" (tissues at the ready), and "O Come All Ye Faithful". Voctave does sing at Disney World in Orlando, FL. They are simply fabulous.
Yay! You've found Voctave in time for Christmas!!!! Btw, a very young Austin Brown also sang with many from this group as part of Voices of Liberty. There is a vid floating on youtube.
The Real Group is another great A Cappella group to check out. They're Swedish. Been around since the 80s. One of my all time favs. Love their song Bumblebee. They have great songs like Gota, A Cappella in Acapulco, Are You Coming To Me, Mister Father, Words, Chili Con Carne, Commonly Unique.
Octave are great. With Christmas coming you should do “O Come All Ye Faithful” from them. It’s fantastic. I like the men’s version of Disney as well. Forgetting the video name. Disney Showstoppers. Just checked lol.
I second "O Come All Ye Faithful". EJ Cardona (the lead singer on it) is simply superb. His last note is just unbelievable! And the Disney Heroes and Villains Medley is wonderful!
They DO sing at Disney World! My personal opinion is that this group is the best vocal experience out there. Different than "typical" 4- or 5-person a cappella groups, but superb in a slightly different way. Jamey Ray (in this video he has a black jacket and blue shirt) does their arrangements. He is the BEST!! When you commented on the Little Mermaid singer, I have to disagree. I could hear every word from her very clearly. Interesting take! Here is MY opinion... What should you do next?! Anything and everything Voctave has got out there! As this vocal mastery moves you so, you’ve got to do more! (I know they don’t have the same as large following as the other 3 a cappella groups, perhaps because they don’t have a beatboxer (?) - all of whom I truly enjoy - but #Voctave is truly something special. They do phenomenal Disney and Broadway and magical Christmas. Originally a group of 8 in their earlier days they are now 11 strong with 2 gents that changed during Covid. I think it’s not so much the lack of a beat boxer as because they are part-time and naturally promote and produce less content. They’re all too busy being fabulous professional singers!
Voctave are an amazing group, you should check out some of their Christmas songs, like Mary, did you know, Where are you Christmas, I could go on, because there are so many great songs from them great reaction 👍👍👍
Wow!! What a wonderful performance from vocate and the other performances are equally as good. looking forward to seeing more of them on your channel.get them hankies ready for cindy.👏👏👌
If you are going to react to Christmas music in December, their "Mary Did You Know" will shake you. Their Prince of Egypt medley is a masterpiece of an arrangement. Genuinely a masterpiece. It is vocal only, no video, but it will change you!
Two more a capella groups to check out--well, one isn't a group, he's an individual. That is Peter Hollens. He often collaborates with other signers. He's wonderful. I recommend Shendoah (from the movie of the same name, and it's "all Peter"). Second recommend is "Misty Mountains" (with Tim Foust, the bass from Home Free). Third is "The Hobbit Drinking Medley" (medley of songs from "The Hobbit" movies, featuring Hank Greene). The Bass Gang is kind of the "new kids on the block" but they're fantastic and getting better all the time. I have four recommendations for them since you love Disney: "Arabian Nights" (from "Aladdin"), "Be Prepared" (from "The Lion King"), "Gaston" (from "Beauty and the Beast") and "Friend Like Me" (from "Aladdin"). I was afraid I'd be disappointed in their cover of "Friend Like Me"--I mean, how does one follow up on Robin Williams? But they do it! It's just the right mix of homage to the original, but with enough of their own "spin" that it's almost like a different song. Bobby Waters (the guy who sings lead--he's the genie--did the arrangement and he did a superb job).
I really enjoyed your reaction. They're pretty good, huh!?! Welcome to the world of Voctave. In the current a cappella world, they are the orchestra, as compared to the 5-person groups like Home Free, Pentatonix and VoicePlay, each terrific in their own right. But with 11 members, Jamey Ray, their arranger (and member), can arrange for 7, 8, and 9-part harmonies and eliminate any need for stacking. Each and every one of them is a fantastic singer. Now that you've heard each of the ladies, give a listen to their Disney's Heroes and Villains, which features each of the men. And since we're getting close to Christmas,. you might want to check out their rendition of Mary, Did You Know featuring Mark Lowry, the guy who wrote the lyrics, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, or Where Are You Christmas. You really can't go wrong with any of their Holiday offerings. Let me assure you that there are a lot more goosebumps awaiting you! Enjoy!!!
Great choice to begin with. Jamey Ray is the leader and the arranger for the group and he's arranged for all of the other acapella groups you mentioned. The Christmas stuff is incredible, but they do a tonof Broadway songs and 3 songs they videoed during the height of Covid, including You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen, singing with people from 55 different countries, is outstanding . Listen to some more of their Christmas stuff starting with O Come All Ye Faithful and try to get to Mary Did You Know with Mark Lowry who wrote the original lyrics. It has a completely different feel than any version of the song you have ever heard done.
Oh. And "Mary Did You Know" it is featuring Mark Lowry as the lead. He wrote the lyrics to it. (He used to sing with the Gaithers.) Btw, are you a music teacher? I teach K-5.
If you react to Voctave’s Disney Love Medley with Kirsten Maldonado (from PTX) and her ex-fiancée Jeremy Michael Lewis there is another video you should check out of them rehearsing. It shows Kirstin and Jeremy’s reaction when Kate Lott hits a whistle note. It might be worth adding to the reaction video after you’ve reacted to the song. If not, at least check it out after you’ve heard the song. Well worth watching the less than 2 minute video.
Yes, these guys (and gals) are amazing, they are more of a choral group than other acapella groups - but their combined sound is stunning! Kate Lott, the soprano, is classically trained - so she knows how to hit those notes! This was a great arrangement, not just that it showed all the different ladies' voices, from the high soprano through to the altos, but also the progression of Disney songs from the more 'classical' style to more 'Broadway' and modern styles! Their Christmas songs are magical! For something different - not sure if you guys are familiar with the British group ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), but I'd love to see you react to 'Mr. Blue Sky', arguably one of the best feel-good songs I know! 😊 ua-cam.com/video/wuJIqmha2Hk/v-deo.html
Please, please, please... you have got to review Voctive w/ Mark Lowery's Mary did you know! IT WILL BLOW YOU AWAY!!!! From James Robertson in League City Texas. Thank you for all your wonderful reviews!
Fun fact, if I’m not mistaken, Kate Lott (first singer) is married to one of the men in the Dapper Dans at WaltDisneyWorld, and Sarah (third singer) is also married to one of them.

@@TouchyReactionsgreat recommendations!
It seems the a capella groups are very supportive of one another & often guest w/each other! 💖
I got to hear some of them live at Epcot (including Kate Lott - the higher soprano)! They are amazing
Hilarious that you said Disney should hire them as many of them sung in the Voices of Liberty and Dapper Dans at Epcot and Magic Kingdom.
Thanks Alan

I agree. Absolute perfection.
They also did another Disney medley with Kirstin Maldonado from Pentatonics that's well worth watching.
Thanks Steve

WERE ARE YOU CHRISTMAS? BY VOCTAVE!!!.....WARNING!! BRING TISSUE
Thanks
@@TouchyReactions I'll give you a hint,.....ladykiller/cuteness overload!!!
