Nemo biggest disappointment, but the expectations were probably too high
I think they toned down the staging because the voice and song are already very impactful. Maybe they try to prevent it from looking chaotic - something he mentions that could happen with the Greek staging. But yeah the outfit doesn't look great and maybe the staging doesn't fit the vibe of the song. We'll have to wait and see the final TV shots.
Idk why people are surprised with Aiko. She's a good singer, the sound in czech nf was sh*t
We need to see the full product. The Swiss show is done for the camera, for a few pictures will never present the entire thing. The balancing element (between the 0s and 1s) is sensational, and so are their vocals as usual. This is still going to get it.
What I like about Geecee and Albania (and a couple of others from earlier on, like Australia) is thst they're using live backing vocalists, instead of relying on pre-recorded vocals. And the only thing I can say about Nemo's outfit is that they look like a caveman from the ice ages, minus pants. But there's of course a chance that this isn't gonna be their ultimate outfit.

Very clever staging by Switzerland having Nemo standing out against the 1st and 0s (black and white) with his feelings of not fitting in being displayed by having to balance on the podium. Kudos! They did mention there being more to come, I wonder if the outfit is the final one, or potentially there is an alternative underneath the coat.

Nemo's staging kinda unimpressive but I agree the camerawork will probably make it look much better. Just reminded me a lot of Gjon's Tears like you mentioned with the platform, and like a children's playground ride lol. Marina looking the best of today, love her performance to bits, smart camerawork will reduce the loudness of it I bet!

Malta significantly increased its chances to qualify. I was sure this was NQ, but some people will be impressed by the choreography. It will get more points that I initially expected.
My opinions:
- Nemo staging is very underwhelming I think it needs more. It needs to be big not minimalist
- Umpopular but Marinas staging doesn't really fit the ethnic vibe visually of the song imo but i think it still looks cool and choreo is great (maybe dancers outfit will change)
- Kaleen performance looked very professional icl and her vocals seemed a lot better
- Albania staging seemed quite bare ( I dont see this qualifying)
- Czechia vocals seem much better and their use of the overhead cubes is amazing however the outfits need to change
- Saba although it's quite minimalist I think some of the photos are stunning especially the zoomed out ones
- Malta looks super professional and honeslty great staging
- Armenias staging honestly won for me today. Completely fits the vibe of the song and will be a televote dark horse!

I love Marina but I feel I’m the only one underwhelmed by the staging and outfit 😔 I loved the choreography tho! Maybe the camera angles will change my opinion.. it’s a hard song to stage, I think

I liked Greece and Armenia staging a lot and I'm surprised with Malta staging I think it's also amazing
Switzerland is made for the TV experience...impossible to pronounce based on a few stills and twelve seconds of video. This is all about camera angles, sharp cuts and performance art .. remember all the fuss about Gjons Tears and that silvery shirt? He won the jury vote comfortably.

Switzerland is coming with something completely new. This staging is revolutionary and is here to stay. If anything this is even more the winner now!
I'll be honest. I CANNOT see Switzerland winning with THAT staging. People WONT vote for a pink chicken! It's like Netta and Dustin the Turkey forced someone to sing on Brunette's staging. But you know, it's okay, because i'm praying they let Nemo have this exact setup. Why?

I love it how this semi is getting more and more competitive, nobody is throwing their gauntlet. I am cheering for Czechia, Austria and Norway to qualify and surprise with the result in the final. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a shocking NQ in this semi - the lineup of countries voting is rather... unusual

Not sure about Nemo. On one hand the outfit doesn't look great and the staging seems to be unimpressive, but on the other hand the song and voice itself are so impactful that the staging might need to be toned down. Otherwise it might be too much for most of the viewers. I think we'll have to wait and see the final shots to decide if the staging is top or flop.
I can't see Switzerland topping Croatia's televote score.

Today I'm impressed with Armenia🇦🇲, Malta🇲🇹, Greece🇬🇷 and quite underwhelmed with Denmark 🇩🇰 and especially Albania 🇦🇱.

I know Bonnici's song isn't to your tastes, but it was at least vindicating to hear you say that compared to Kaleen, whose act is similar, that Sarah has a stronger dance skill and stage presence 😜(and I agree).
AND LADANIVAAAAA!!!! They were my personal 3rd before dress rehearsals and I have them at #1 now. I'm not even worried about it, what a fun and beautiful performance!! Even if they do not qualify (and I feel it is likely that they will) they are going to put on an amazing show and gain fans across the world.
The outfits for Sarah and Aiko are a bit too revealing for my taste but their performances have much improved.
Kaleen looks surprisingly a bit more classy than usual.
Nemo is Nemo (can't believed they hitchhiked all the way from Switzerland to Malmö!) Nemo doesn't need pyros and a crowded stage. The simple stage is a clever idea because they move around a lot. The outfit is a bit out there and I would have hoped something more fitted but once they start to sing people will see them like the beautiful soul Nemo are.
Ladaniva show that they have lots of live experience,
if I can get over the "tah tah tah" in Marina's song, I'll certainly like it more but performance looks great.
Besa looks like a queen, if she can move well with this outfit it will be fine.
Saba is pure class, glad her little is lower than during the national final, the imagery is not a problem for me, it's a simple song but she is a great vocalist.

Every day when I see that you have posted a new video with the title “SUMMARY” I become so happy because I think it’s the next summary of old Eurovisions 😭😂 don’t get me wrong, your other videos are great as well, but I just love that series! That’s the only positive thing about Eurovision ending. To get other ESC-related content again! 🤩 I hope you will cure my PED!
I love the current content as well and I totally get that it's not the time for reviewing old editions right now. But I agree with you that it's such a great and unique series, I'm so looking forward to it to continue! Like I've said earlier, one of the reasons I subscribed to this channel 😊.

Yes, they're pants are missing, lol. No, you're right, it doesn't feel like a winner to me, could even struggle with the televote in the Grand Final (depending on their spot in the running order) and some jurors from more conservative countries might probably vote it down as well, eo even jury Top 3 is not a given. Something is missing here. The je ne sais quoi, if you will and it kinda misses some kinda kick or punch.

Malta adn Armenia did it great. Really. Nemo is great as always ( i agree for the outfit which is too much for me as well).0 His voice is from another world. Greece is great. Albania is weak indeed

I just love that many of us are yet again not convinced by Switzerland's staging. I remember Gjon getting so much criticism from the previews then he came and absolutely SLAYED

Tbh I sometimes wonder where he gets his "information" from. All i've read about Switzerland is that mostly people do not like what they've seen and really hope the staging looks better in it's complete form live. Not to mention almost every reaction regarding Nemo's outfit is that people don't like it. And in this vid he states that people like it. Where exactly did you see these reactions? Because most of what I see is somewhat negative.

I still don't get the Nemo hype though. There is no way there is 25% chance he (they? I don't know how to name persons anymore in this world) will win. It feels so overhyped, there must be some bias, people really underestimate how big of an aggressive bormbardment this song really is, but then again people can't vote against something, only for.

Love Marina and the concept but really dislike her dress, just looks too cheap. Nemo… I just feel they lack charisma. Doesn’t look like a winner at all.
1. Using actual Sand. No. No. NO!!!! Who thought this was a good idea? She has a great voice but this song is as dry as.... sand.
2. The balance/seesaw/hill that Nemo walks on is GENIUS with its symbolism. They seem to love frilly pink things and that is exactly what they look amazing in! Feeling freedom of expression is what The Code is all about, and this seems so personal for Nemo. LOVE.
3. Ladaniva has totally grown on me and I LOVE the costuming and the vocals!
4. It's a shame so many people went with glittery/ sheer bodysuits this year!
