Yes, Bambie Thug's act seems fantastic and I agree, the camera angles were impressive. Baby Lasagna was great and it would be so great if Croatia would win!! And I confess that I finally got touched by Ukraine's song... the staging made it for me. And still getting goosebumps each time when I hear Iolanda. Looking forward to next week!!!! Three great nights to come!

I agree with Ukraine being a possible winner, that moment of Jerry walking up the rock with the rain of comets (or incoming missiles) with the armor on and the flowy hair..very Joan of Arc ish. That is a winning moment for sure. Can't wait to see the rest.

The thing with Serbia is they should focus on close-ups as much as possible.
When they zoomed out and showed the little fake rock stage prop it looked a little funny.

Ukraine left the biggest impression on me! Jerry really gives it her all on stage. I disliked the religious theme of the song, but the "desparation" in her voice and performance makes it feel very fitting.

I don't think it's the final product because you can see the cameraman in some places in the clips

On paper Azerbaijan could work but I really, really don't like that the 2 guys aren't really a unit and are kinda doing their own things on stage. Ukraine is doing this much better since the 2 women have different roles in the the song but feel like a unit and the chemistry is there. Azerbaijan feels like they just told 2 random guys off the street to work together and they're just putting up with it.
Huh I never really thought too much about this till you pointed it out.. yeah they are really a good distance apart. Yeah that’s odd and must feel awkward for them both. I love the song just a bit worried about the vocal. Hopefully they will do well on the night.

I am not sure about a Finnish qualification. I think that Croatia might soak up many of the votes that could have gone to Finland.

When you commented on the Slovenian performance, you said that the screaming at the end (which it isn't but rather high operatic singing) will be a turn off for many people? Then it will also be a turn off for many the screaming from the Irish representative and the Norwegian, where the singing is really screaming in some parts. I don't understand. It's funny that nobody talks then about Ireland NQ due to unusual singing for example.

I think the operatic singing rather than the screaming is usually what doesn't do as well. Bambie Thug and Gate have more of a rock feel to them. Plus, Raiven is singing the entire last chorus entirely in a higher, operatic register. There's no going up and then down at all which is what may turn off viewers.

IT HAS HAPPENED!!! Croatia have gone back up to number one in the odds and only THREE betting sites are predicting they will go down meaning a FURTHER BOOST is coming for Croatia, who are already comfortably ahead at 24%, with contender Switzerland RAPIDLY dropping and other countries having much more mixed odds, meaning the betters are going absolutely CRAZY. They have seen the winner, you can feel it! If Croatia can get to around 40%, that could put them at a comfortable confidence level akin to Loreen last year. Normally if you can get to that in the odds, that means it's almost near impossible to beat them! THERE'S NO GOING BACK!!!
Nice to se Croatia first in the odds again, but I doubt it'll go that far as Loreen. And we haven't seen Italy jet and Ukraine is also climbing in the odds.. It is still very open, let the best one win!

The audio from Australia 🇦🇺was appalling and stage looks messy.
Can’t agree with you more Doug, after seeing the clip I’ve given up on hope on us having a decent result this year. I want to be proven wrong but from what I’ve seen it just isn’t hitting the mark. I’m pretty gutted because it is Electric Fields and I was hoping that this was going to be a real treat and do really well but the song + staging has left me flat.
@@christinabarton3273 and the scary part is Electric Fields were asked to pick the best 30 seconds to use. I have watched every other clip and songs I do not like and they all sound fantastic except Australia. Imagine how bad the rest of it sounds? I am embarrassed now
I wonder what’s happening with the sound then . I don’t like the backing singers singing along side Zachariah when he goes up to that high note , that should be only his voice shining at that point. I don’t know I just look at that clip and it looks like the team just don’t have a handle on it this year. I’m really disappointed, it became clear we weren’t even aiming for the win, just there for a nice time and to showcase some culture and hopefully some folks will enjoy it and don’t get me wrong people do really love this but …. Yeah I’m not confident we have a chance now. Time will tell I guess.

Everybody who says that Poland won't qualify is so delusional. How can you be interested in Eurovision and don't know that Poland would have always qualified if the system had been like this year - the televote only except for 2021? Poland has Germany, UK, Ireland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Iceland voting in the semi where huge diaspora lives. Poland gets high points from these countires every year. It has never had so many "firends" in the semi. They would have even qualified in 2018 when he sang out of tune and the song was really weak and they didn't have so many "friends" then. Also, there were 18 songs in the semi, not 15. Luna is 100 % qualifier unlike Cyprus. Bigger coutries with diaspora like Poland are much better at the televote and small ones like Cyprus and Malta struggle. And apparently, backing vocals were too silent during this reharsal and they want to fix it so it will sound better.

@@vanab123 I don't think so, I like this song It's on my 15th place. It's well produced pop. Her vocal is shaky because of the moves but there are worse for example Kaleen, Aiko. Of course, she has. She won't be below 20 because of diaspora. Even Blanka was 19th with truly terrible song.
