Even if i could afford it, i wouldnt get it anyway there isnt magic in those pallets and you can get the same looks and quality for less so why spend more

I was thinking about getting the mini love but now I’m second guessing myself. Also the goddess palette has been on my mind for awhile. I kinda wish alter ego did the minis too or single shadows. That would be superb!!

The brushes look soft even in the video, I can only imagine how nice and soft they are in person!
That cool toned palette looks beautiful with your eye color! If I didn’t already have a ton of pink, purple and silver shadows I’d definitely pick it up!
Hi Jen. Love the eyeshadow look. The brushes look like they perform as well as more expensive brushes. The Alta Ego shadows look so much smoother and less patchy on the eye. Great video again. Thankyou. Love from the UK 🇬🇧❤xxxxx
The brushes are awesome and I agree. ND shadows are always patchy on me because they're so pigmented...they don't blend out easily. That's why I usually like Alter Ego better!
I wish alterego duped other brands besides ND, her color stories hasn’t really inspired me lately, I REALLY wanted a Mercury Retrograde dupe, but aia guest that will never happen 😔
The ucanbee bubble nebula is a decent dupe for mercury retrograde. It isn't perfectly exact but it gives great looks
They also have a Huda Beauty New Nudes dupe, and an AHB Sultry dupe. They're still pretty new too.

I was able to get the Blooms palette and I used your code! It's my second Alter Ego palette, as I've frequently used the Temptress palette for nice, everyday looks.
So excited for these! As much as I’d love to have the originals, it’s just not feasible right now. I have the ND Sunrise palette and the Alter Ego gold palette version. Honestly, the formula isn’t so much better that the price difference is worthwhile. Can’t wait for a Glam palette dupe if I can’t snag the ND one for awhile.

Bloom looks pretty, but I am going to wait until they bring out a dupe for the Glam palette (or even better the Trichrome) to place an order. Since you need to pick up more than one to get free shipping and I don’t like warm tones on me.
The nice thing about Alter Ego is that they don't discontinue. If it sells out and the interest is still there, they restock. I got the shipping covered because I ordered the brushes. I really enjoy the quality.

Thinking of the blooms palette. Never have tried this brand before. I have a couple things in my cart. Thank you for this video it was very inspiring. Definitely helps the wallet. 💓

It is pretty difficult for me to buy from the US (I live in Chile), so if I'm going all the miles to buy from them, it will be when I can have the glam dupe too. I bought 3 ND minis last year (a friend brought them for me from Spain) and I wasn't crazy about the formula, not for that price tag at least, so if I can get the gorgeous color stories for less, I'm in.
I'm thinking maybe next year for Glam since it's fairly new. I'm thinking it takes awhile to dupe colors/formulas..

That Bronze palette dupe officially convinced me to give this brand a try! That and the Gold palette were the two ND palettes I was intrigued by but not in love enough to pay ND prices, so seeing that these were so spot on and for such affordable prices clinched it. Excited to play with the color stories that inspire me without shelling out luxury makeup coins!
I purchased both!! I have a couple of theirs already and loved the formula, and while I do love Natasha Denona. I can't really go and spend alot on her palettes. Although I did promise myself to treat myself LOL So perhaps one day? Thanks, Jen! xoxo 😘🙂

I wish they would have done a dupe for the Glam palette by ND, but you never know they might still come out with one later on.
I'm sure they will! Glam only came out this fall, and it takes a while to get these dupes into production I'm sure.

Dang it! I just ordered the Love palette this weekend during ND's flash sale. Wish I had waited. Would definitely get the Blooms instead. I never tried Alter Ego but the colors really look identical. Great video!

I was literally on their website 2 days ago to see if they had any new palettes I own every palette on their site except for the huda dupe. Now I see this video and I'm gonna buy them right after watching this video. I love alter ego they do a pretty good job duping some of the most popular palettes and so far I've loved ever single palette.

Both of these palettes (as well as the brushes) look gorgeous, but I am leaning more towards cool-toned shades lately, so the Blooms palette catches my eye more. 💖💜❤️All of the swatches look fantastic, & the performance of the shadows used in both the looks you created seems to be excellent. I think that companies like Alter Ego are proving more & more every day that good quality makeup doesn't have to be the cost of a body part & promise of your first-born! I am so excited to order the Bloom palette! I have been waiting for them to make a dupe for the ND love palette since the color story is not something that is my regular go to. It will be my first time using Alter Ego. I can’t wait!

@@JenPhelps I remember when you tried the Love Struck palette from Profusion and we briefly talked about it’s weird smell. If a dupe is not going to perform well or be smelly I will either pass it by or buy the original.
Thanks Jen for sharing two beautiful looks from both of the Alter Ego palettes and the ND palettes. I plan on buying the Canyon palette, the packaging was gorgeous on both but especially the Canyon palette. I also think the Canyon palette had just a bit more pigment, but they are both nice dupes. I do own the ND Love palette so that's another reason for me to buy Canyon. The brushes looked nice as well. Thanks again for another great video. I always like to watch these at the end of the day, perfect way to get some ideas for the next day and a good way to end the day : )

Blooms looks cool, I’m really into red and purple shades rn. The peachy duo chrome in canyon caught my eye but I wouldn’t use most of it. If they come out with a trichromatic dupe I might have to debate getting it, just because I loved all those tones but not the price.
I'm hoping they do that one and Glam next! They really seem to dupe ND more than anything and I sometimes wonder if they will take a break and dupe something else after this!

Beautiful looks! Also, instead of concealer, the nyx glitter primer is amazing for those half cut creases. Really makes shimmers pop. I'm in Canada so I can't order these. I really want the Natasha Denona Love palette so I may have to pick it up during the next Sephora sale😁
Eeeeek so excited!!! I reach for my alter ego palettes even more than ND bc the formula is so good! I will say the brushes look identical to a BH set I got years ago.... maybe rose gold something 🤔
I love that these palettes are magnetic. I always end up rearranging the shades in the same order as the ND palettes.
I just saw some comments on their Instagram of people saying these new ones aren't magnetic? If so that'd be such a bummer
@@LarinaValarin I actually just found that out last night! I was so disappointed. I'm kinda glad I held off on buying the Canyon one because I would be so disappointed if I found that out after I bought it. I probably just won't be getting it anymore :/

Had to pause the video and go purchase both palettes and went ahead and bought the Artemis....I was waiting for that one when it launched but I didnt purchase it until now..I really do like Nats palettes but the price tag is steep and right now I just cant drop that much on her palettes but to think I got 3 palettes that are just as good as her quality for under 60 dollars...that was a steal...So thank u Jen so much for ur videos like this it really helps all makeup lovers out.

No wonder the Bronze palette didn’t do too well. There’s only 5 different colors. All of those will look the same on the eye. I gotta say, I do like when the dupe palette puts the shades in the same place. I once had an influencer tell me, if you open a palette and can’t see a look, start breaking it into quarters- so the first two shades in row 1 and the first two shades in row 2. Works almost always!!
So true! Someone else in the comments just mentioned that the Alter Ego palettes are magnetic so they always switch them around to mimic the ND. 😊❤️

Thank you for doing this comparison...I got the two from Alter Ego because my face shape is very similar to yours and I love the colors..I can't spend hundreds of dollars on eye shadow but I do love my shadows...I must say my swatches seemed a little weak on some colors but now I know why...I'm not familiar with the formula versions ...So I am learning as I go. :)

Secondly I’ve come to the conclusion I’m not buying anymore ND palettes Except for the minis. I have about all of the ND palettes. Except for the
Metropolis palette. I did buy the Alter Ego dupe palette so I bought the Goddess ( the ND Gold palette is one of my absolute favorites second up mini retro third the glam palette) I bought it as the goddess palette as a back up. Alter Ego blew my socks off. I’m not kidding! Idk how they make sure excellent palettes for so inexpensive!!! I love alter ego and will definitely be purchasing more from them. Definitely going to order the brush set.
I agree. I buy the ND ones only because I want to dupe them but if I wasn't a UA-camr I would just stick to the minis too. Those are my favorite and the ones I use the most.
I won’t say ever because actually If she makes a larger palette out of the mini retro or something that really speaks to me and I can’t wait for alter ego to do it I’ll definitely buy one!!!

Honestly they look almost the same on the eyes to me but with such a big cost difference! Just in time now that ND also released the mini love palette and costs more than the full alter ego bloom palette 😅
