I just got one afew weeks ago. Ill be bringing it to 170k soon but i didnt pass emissions because two things were not ready. Im told i have to drive it and come back since ive been fixing it. So much cheap plastic in such a cool car.
Ohh I guess I was lucky cuz now is the first time I have to replace mine, even though to be fair I don't really use windows anyway. He said they're cheaply made but unfortunately not cheaply priced, the cheapest rear regulator I could find is 120+.
It’s weird I ordered one but the motor will not connect to the regulator it’s a tad bit bigger when you try to put the spinning part of the motor in any help ?
my front passenger window is stuck half way . when i press on the button ,i can still hear the noise from the motor,and some grinding and mixing metal noise from the wires..any idea?
I have the same problem. Passenger front, and both rear windows. You can't just replace the rollers huh, you have to replace the whole regulator. That makes it cost some real money because the whole regulator costs over a hundred bucks.
You can buy just the rollers. Mine was broken on the part that connects to the motor so I replaced the whole thing. However, the one I bought was only about $20 on Amazon. Both the rollers or the whole thing are sold on Amazon much cheaper than at the parts stores (at least for my specific year and model)
Yeah I found the whole assembly on Amazon for 25 bucks. Both my rear windows are out too, but those assembly's are like 70 bucks a piece. Mine's a 2006. 2003 on up they're way harder to replace the rollers, might as well do the whole thing, from what I see online.

Hi, just installed my new window regulator and it is making the same noise. How this can be possible if it is new??
