Got the glove 80 a week ago, i am back at 100+ wpm and its quite fun. Got back to 70 after 2 days, but keycombos were more hassle. i have the light linear red ones btw. i like them.
Great video! Currently looking at the glove80 after finding the kenesis 360 advantage not working well for my very small hands. Im watching while about to have surgery to fix my rather bad cubital tunnel syndrome that has turned me one handed and into a lefty for the last month or so, and i cant wait to type with both hands again! Im hoping you are doing well in combating any RSI. Mine I believe, was due to the sheer amount of time spent with arms bent at desks (work and coding after work plus gaming) but also leaning on the chair armrest. I was educated about ergonomics and used a good set up but still ignored the first signs of fatigue and numbness and was caught off guard by the speed and severity of this kind of injury. Best of luck to you and anyone else looking at reducing injury. Take care of yourselves! ❤
Do you type with floating hands or resting on the palm rest? I guess the latter. When you remove the rests, put the keyboard to the front of the table and type with floating hands I am confident your pain will go away!
You gotta do some typing and shows us what it sounds like. Lotta people check reviews for the typing sound test, myself included. Just for the future, get you some more video hits for the algorithm.
On the right side I have space. On both sides I have backspace and enter. It's a little less efficient having duplicate keys on both sides but it works for me.

Did you go for the glove80 in the end? I would be interested in hearing your expoerience of how it compares to the kinesis.
I'll make a follow up video but after using an elbow brace while I sleep and this keyboard for 3+ months, my cubital tunnel syndrome is basically gone
Thinking about moving from the corne to this; mostly for the additional ergonomics of it. I actually prefer how few keys the corne has though.
Can you please include a typing test in your review? Are these the brown switches?
I'll post a typing test with my follow up video. I'm using the pro reds
I posted a typing test video!
@@TheMuteAWNWhat is your opinion now after using the Glove80 for more time?

Resting my palms on the palm rest is very comfortable. Resting my wrists on any rest or table is not.
Have you done any gaming on the glove80?
This is not for gamers.
Personally I have not but I've read people create a gaming layer and switch WASD to ESDF to make it more comfortable
Which switch are you using in this keyboard 🙂
that looks and sounds like the pro reds
Pro reds
does this have layers?
there's a thumb button that says 'layer'... so probably not
The keyboard has layers you can customize. I just use the default one for number pad

I got a split because of leetcoding too. I made myself a keyboard.
having enter , space and bs on one side thumb isnt a good thing tho ....
