Good Day! I would like to express my thanks to E2 IELTS! My girlfriend recently took her IELTS exam here in the Philippines, and she got flying marks, R: 9, L: 9, W: 7.5, S: 7.5. I remember clearly that she spent so much time watching your videos and practicing all of your tips. More power to your channel and pls keep on doing what you do because you are offering great help to those who cannot afford to enroll in formal IELTS review.
I got a 9 in reading!!! Overall ielts score is 8. All thanks to Jay and Alex. Weeks before the exam, i've been getting a 6.5 to 7 score that’s why I cannot believe that I got a 9. It's all thanks to you guys and your helpful videos!
@@atenakiasat6211 hi all i did was watch the videos of E2 language and two other youtubers :) i also visited IELTS sites for sample exams. Practice is important, but improving and focusing on the things you keep getting wrong will help a lot.
When I was getting ready for my exams, I got motivated by people who shared their results. I told myself that if it goes well, I’d share too. I struggled a lot with the reading, especially the true, false and not given. A friend asked me to watch your strategies and I’m happy to say I received my General result today and I scored 8.5 in my reading. I also scored 9 in my listening. My problem for that part was the maps and I watched your strategies on the exam morning. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
Thank you so much Alex 🤗. You played a significant role in making me pass IELTS with an overall of 8.0......L 8.5, R 7.5, W 7.0 and S 8.0.... I sincerely give God all the glory 🙌. If I can do it, you can do it too. Trust me....study hard and pray harder 🙏. God will do it for you too. Amen 🙏

Hi, thanks for all the amazing work that the team of E2 are doing as thousands are benefiting. When I started using your learning channel I realised how inefficient i was at understanding English. I would like to point out that for yes, no, and not given in the last section of this tutorial- the answer for 1 is no: some is an antonym to many. So, it would be the opposite of what is being reflected. Many thanks for all the insightful videos!
I prepared for IELTS (academic) in 10 days and got 7.0 overall. Thanks to you, specially for reading module, You really helped me a lot. May God bless you
dear viewers, Jay and Alex are really good teachers. I got my ielts score now. I have a total band score of 8 (new record) with a 9 in Reading. Alex, your techniques work!
Very effective teaching :) I love the way this is video is designed so that students can interact along the fly, not just passively listening to the teacher.
I was also confused on question 1 of the Yes/No part. I wondered why the answer was a Yes, because in the passage it was "many" and in the question, it was "some". My first reaction to the question was that it must be "NO", so I was starstruck while being introduced to the answer. Now I know why it is the case. It is mainly the fault of our(non-native) English, as, back in our mind we refer "some" to something less/few. BUT, "some" means -> an unspecified amount or number of. And that's a BIG difference. So, if the question was "few", it would have been a NO, but because it is "some" and "some" can be any amount, it is YES.
@@mohamedrashad311 YES is the right answer here as very rightly explained by sulav in his comment. By mentioning SOME, the question is being set to seek for any number of diets. It can be a small or a large number. Hence SOME diets encompasses MANY diets as mentioned in the actual reading text. I hope it is a bit clear now.
Unspecified amount can be less and can be also more...It doesn't mean 100 % many thats why I think the answer is not given. (It can not be 100% false and It can not be 100 % true, so we dont have enough information and when we dont have enough information the answer is always not given)
