I had to re watch the part where your mom said, “but I did it for Lauren” aww so sweet. This video is a great motivator. I love all the tips esp doing everything early. I think it’s cool that your mom had no doubt that she would finish it, seems like she already had that mental discipline!! Straight boss.
I’m not sure what my diet will be, I get so weird with diets but I think no fast food, high protein and at least one serving of veggies a day.
I think it’s great that you did so many different workouts. It’s so sweet that you did this with your mum and it ended on Mother’s Day. ❤

I loved how your family and friends joined you/supported you on this discipline journey! It’s extremely admirable and interesting to see how we all struggle in different ways but can still succeed if we just remain disciplined. Loved this video

In the book 75 hard the outdoor workout was the point of not being comfortable because not everything you do in life will be comfortable.

I’ve followed for a long time and never thought you’d be neurodivergent but I’m happy you shared that with us. It’s not easy to handle and people don’t always understand our quirks. Knowing this made me feel like I relate and understand you more, especially when you were talking about the reading portion. You are such a breath of lovely fresh air! I’m on day 2, and really happy for all your advice. Even as a Yoga instructor, I know that I need to get prepared for the challenges. The start early advice is spot on! And the water…..what you naturally figured out is good science. Why would a 5 ft individual drink the same amount of water as a 6 ft 300 lb person? Too much water can destroy your electrolyte balance. I am so glad for you that you used wisdom. God bless! And thank you.

I just heard about the challenge. I didn't know about the finisher coin. 🥳 You are encouraging.❤ I do agree that the time of year makes sense and it's the safe thing to do. I am part of a group that runs at the early o-dark-30. I am using Feb to "adjust" and mentally prepare. And even still, I may do a modified version. I prefer to try on clothes that used to fit, as opposed to taking a picture. There is a gallon jug you can get that shows drinking progress. Good job👏🏾👏🏾

Working out outside is the struggle for me and the water
I think the hardest thing for me would be the workouts. The no rest days AND two AND one has to be outside. Idk when I would do anything else I need to do in life lol
The workouts can definitely be an adjustment! I learned after a few days that the key would be adding low intensity/low impact workouts in the mix. Everything can’t be so physically demanding bc no rest days!

Im looking forward to starting this challenge soon and honestly I think that getting in two 45 minute workouts a day will be the most challenging but I'm looking forward to seeing how I will arrange my schedule to make it happen. And thank you for the video it was super informative!

I just came across your video bc I will be starting on Sunday so I needed to see what others went thru. Drinking a gallon of water & working out outside everyday will be the most difficult for me. I may need to moderate the gallon of water like you did bc I am only 5’2 where is all that water gonna go?!?!?
The outside workout definitely made scheduling concerns but once you work out when you’re going to do it, you’re good! That water on the other hand…

I plan to start 75 hard in two days. I tried last year without success due to outside weather. & I just don’t like exercising outside so this time I’m focused on my mental 😢
If you’re in a climate that’s in summer during June-August and it’s really HOT, maybe opt for a more mild time of year with less heat and/or rainstorms/extreme weather.

Oh I went to the website and looked after this (since someone commented on it) and it seems to be for “recovery.” Eh not a big deal to me since the whole challenge is an attack on muscle recovery LMAO it doesn’t have rest days!

The water thing would get me as well. Your water intake is based on YOUR body & too much water is definitely a thing. A gallon a day would have me sick and through with it all lol
Yes like the headache was NO joke. I had to be smart about that section to succeed overall
Need to add some electrolytes. Pink Himalayan salt no sal for potassium, Epsom salt for mag adding a bit of this to water is key
Traveling is what got me! Went to NOLA and Dallas and had to resist so much food and cocktails 😩 I love Jo too! I do Heather Robertson 3x a week and rotate between Jo and Leslie Sansone.
Jo is the best! And yes travel will really throw you off because you want to indulge in new/favorite foods when you go out of town! It’s one of the best parts of traveling!

I’m an older lady (55) and I have twin girls who are probably your age (they are 26), so I appreciate including your family (especially mom) in your video. Makes it relatable and shows the positive, the love and fun. I’m a nurse so I agree, a gallon of water a day is not the healthiest for everyone. I’ve been doing my homework on this challenge and am going for it in the winter! I am healing from a broken ankle, was just approved for walking, biking and swimming from the doc this week, so I’ll have to be SUPER careful in the snow and ice.
Let us know about your swimming please. I’d like to know if eating fried food again felt weird or didn’t sit well in your tummy.
