They are taught to respect in that way more than the others have because they feel they have been more oppressed

This whole debate was going pretty well, actually. The comparison between the two groups is in presentation and the way they express their feelings on the matter can differenciete because of their experiences. A sex worker will be more outspoken and have a more powerful presence than a spiritual person that is usually more mick and short-spoken on topics like this.

      @Cog Gear that's not the only reason at all. Both the church and a considerable number of priests have done some bad, bad things over the years. Some not too long long ago.
      Besides that, people outgrew religion because we have a much broader and scientific understanding of the world. There's no reason to believe in a God if not for therapeutic reasons. That's why I appreciate things like Buddhism a lot, it's more of a spiritual way of life than something based on blind faith.

    • @glacio95
      @glacio95 4 роки тому +3

      @Cog Gear Well, everything you say can, is or either will be explained by science -except the existance of spirit and sould, which is debatle for its very nature.
      I'm not saying there's no God, I'm just saying I don't believe in one. I'd rather trust someone who's giving us answers and making things work (like the very internet we are using to have this conversation) than some old book that tells us things are the way they are just because it works like that. I simply don't know if there's a God, but looking at this world it sure doesn't feel like it. There's too much bad, and not just amongst people.

Hes a man that kept saying again, you can disagree with me and my standard, but this is the standard I've chosen to live by. Referring to the bible. Meaning, it's not about opinions, it's not about what feels good, it's not about being right or nice in societies eyes, it's that he has simply chosen to live his life according to the bible. And the bible is pretty clear in this specific subject. They all looked so happy to be there, honestly. And I LOVED that the lady pastor said when she was giving her opinion about the soul ties that it was just her opinion based on humanity and nothing to do with the bible. They were honestly pretty great pastors. Pastors that say it's not about what you think, but ground your faith in the bible so you dont have to question. It’s not realistic of most sexual encounters & is often very exploitative. Most women don’t want to be with guy after guy on camera and be physically injured. It can send the wrong message to impressionable youth who are inexperienced. If this is their main sexual exposure it might send the message that this is normal and they should accept it even if they don’t want to. There are even “rape fantasy”, incestuous (where the “performers” act as though they’re related), and some where while it’s not pedophilic it’s made to look like at least some of the performers are too young (usually by choosing actors with a younger/less mature physique and having them dress young). I’m not necessarily saying ban porn or anything but admitting that the industry can be exploitative and damaging. Another concern is that since it’s highly unregulated there’s no way for the viewer to know if anyone in the video is being forced to do it, especially “amateur” videos and ones from countries with little to no government oversight. Most major US companies have at least some oversight to protect the workers but this might not be the case in say Mexico which has a lot of government corruption

      Brady Casper Most mainstream porn shows guys forcing their huge dicks and going in and out and the woman having huge orgasms in 5 minutes. That's definitely not how it works, and some guys even belive it and are surprised when their gf doesn't orgasm from penetration. Only about 20% of women can orgasm from penetration alone. And that's just an example.

      So I think to them, it's like meeting someone who's never traveled. Traveling is fun, and great, and you get a lot of good experiences, but not everyone wants to travel, and they're fine with the life that they have in that one town. I think that it's totally fair to poke fun a little bit for someone not wanting to travel and have these different experiences. I'm guessing that these folks would personally feel imprisoned if they were told that they would never be allowed to travel and see the world, and experience all of the interesting things that come from that.
      Its understandable that they're ribbing him a little for not having experienced hardly anything since they veiw it as beautiful and eye opening.
      I say this as someone who has never had a romantic/sexual relationship: I think that everyone should have the freedom to have as many sexual encounters as they consent to. I totally would want to have sexual encounters, but I haven't had an opportunity yet. Folks who choose to only have one partner is fair game for good-natured ribbing, folks who choose to have many partners can also have a good-natured ribbing. (So long as you aren't trying to shame them)
