Great thoughts, Markus. The bunny though is very distractive :)
It's a Psycho Bunny! And it's subversive! 8-)

Great helpful video Markus. I'll be using less slides for sure. 😊
Thanks for watching!
You could also use OBS to get a similar effect like the one you have in your videos for live conferences, it's a lot more technical, but also offers a lot more flexibility. Combined with the webcam plugin you can also remove your greenscreen and put yourself anywhere on the presentation.
OBS is definitely worth exploring! The best streams always have multiple scenes set up. Especially if you have multiple monitors it can work really nicely.

Good points and advice, Markus. Perfect timing. In two days I am doing a VPE MELE training online and now may not use slides. However, in my VP PR MELE Breakout last week, nearly half the participants wanted a copy of my slides. I am considering making an outline of my talk that I can send upon request. I am currently editing FEMA slides. Why use a word or two in a bullet point when you can post an entire paragraph? :) To keep in mind for next time: The video nearly chopped off the top of your head.
Thanks for watching! I'm the VPE of my club as well!
Do you know what the speaker is shown twice to attendees when using OBS virtual as a second camera?
Zoom typically shows both the primary and secondary camera. And if OBS Virtual Camera is both, it will appear twice. But there other ways to share OBS in full screen. Check this out: ua-cam.com/video/rBlCdUoMY7w/v-deo.html
I must be one of the weird ones, when I see a slide, I am very interested in all the data I can collect. And I have been the one who has asked, is the slidedeck available for download?
That can certainly happen when the slides do actually contain interesting data. But most slides don't.
